Excited for the wedding planning.
Wonder how Alex ordering Stephanie to do something will go.
Guessing Mary is calling Philip about seeing Chloe.
Thanks for the previews!

I am looking forward to the wedding and the drama around it.
I'm glad Mary talked to Chloe that way. I wonder what she will say to Philip.

Chapter 466
While walking from the car to the square, Sarah asked her mother, “You think it’s too soon, don’t you?”
“I never said that,” Maggie replied calmly. “It’s just that Valentine’s Day is only four weeks away and that doesn’t give us a lot of time to plan.”
“I was thinking about using that woman JJ’s seeing.”
“Gabi?”
“She’s a wedding planner, right? She gets really good reviews on Yelp, and she did a great job with that party at the mansion last summer—” Sarah abruptly stopped mid-sentence, remembering that the party was an engagement party for her deceased brother. “Sorry, that’s kind of sore subject now.”
“No, it’s fine. And I agree, Party Chic does a very good job. But you’d still need to hire a clergyman and decide on a venue and flowers and food and the bridal party. Can you do all that in just a few weeks?”
“Sure, why not?”
Maggie touched Sarah’s arm and stopped walking. “Honey, is there some reason you want to get married so fast? Is there something you’re not telling me?”
“You mean am I pregnant or something? No. I’m just head over heels for Xander and I can’t wait to be his wife.” Maggie grimaced and Sarah said, “What? Why the face? Don’t you think I should marry Xander?”
“Of course I do. I love Xander, you know that. It’s just—”
“What?”
Maggie sighed heavily. “Xander is a trouble magnet.”
“He is not!”
“He doesn’t mean to be. He likes to think he’s tough and threatening like Victor, but he can be a little naive. He sometimes makes poor decisions and I worry about how they may affect you and your relationship with him. My Victor had a way of staying even tempered when he was angry and that tactic tended to throw people off their game, it intimidated them. They were a little afraid of his calmness. The only people I ever saw Victor lose his cool with were Philip and Xander, and it’s because he was frustrated when they didn’t succeed. He believed they could do better.”
“What does that have to do with me and Xander getting married,” Sarah asked.
“It’s just good information that may help you understand your husband-to-be a little bit better. Help you support him better. Sarah, I couldn’t be happier for the two of you. You love Xander as much as I loved Victor and I think you two are a great couple.”
Sarah got a little choked up. “Thanks Mom.”
Maggie put an arm around Sarah and stopped in front of David’s Bridal Shop. “Here we are!”

Hmm I wonder if this is a foreshadow of the reveal of how xander paid for the ring is to come out I’m guessing Philip won’t be the only person upset when they find out Nice was a good way to word it as he was naive when he sold those shares I hope it’s not a make or break for xarah

Maggie’s concerns were reasonable. Glad she is, otherwise, supportive.

Chapter 467a
After a full day hiking the Smoky Mountains, Parker fell asleep on the sofa in the RV holding his tablet to his chest. Philip was using his own tablet on the little kitchen table when his phone rang. He looked at the display and accepted the video call.
“Hello Philip. It’s Mary Richards,” she said with formality. “I wanted to follow up with you and let you know that I spoke to Chloe. I can’t tell you the content of our conversation but since you reached out to me about the situation, I wanted to circle back.”
“Okay,” Philip said hesitantly. “I hope it went well.”
“Well,” Mary hedged. “We’re talking and that’s a start. And we’ll continue to talk for as long as it takes.”
Philip pinched the bridge of his nose. “Good. Thank you for letting me know. I’m glad someone is taking care of her because she needs help but she’s not my responsibility anymore.”
“I understand. But now that I know the whole story—at least Chloe’s side of the story—I want to know if you’re okay.”
“I’m fine,” Philip replied, a little too automatically.
“Well, I know you well enough to know that you think you’re supposed to take care of everyone but yourself. Now that I know what happened, I’m certain you’re not fine.”
“You mean just because I don’t have a wife anymore and I don’t have a job anymore? I’m not going to jump off any buildings, Mary, if that’s what you’re worried about. I’m more clear-headed now and I have a son to raise. He’s my top priority. I need to make sure he feels loved and secure and to know he always has me. Always.”
“That’s admirable.”
“No it’s not. It’s not admirable. It’s my responsibility.”
“Are you expecting Chloe to come back home?”

I’m glad she’s checking on Philip as well but it doesn’t seem like Philip wants to talk about it with anyone He probably just needs this time with Parker and I’m sure they will have a clear head when their adventure is over and they understand each other etc I’m not surprised he said she’s not his responsibility anymore

Glad Philip sees that Chloe isn’t his responsibility anymore, but he’s not as fine as he claims to be.

Maggie is right about trying to plan a wedding in a month.
Philip seems uncomfortable with this conversation.

I was wondering if Parker might overhear Philip say he once wanted to jump off a building.
I'm glad he's not in that state now, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't need help. However, at this point I don't think Chloe and Philip should have the same therapist.

Chapter 467b
“Are you expecting Chloe to come back home?” Mary asked on her video call with Philip.
“No,” Philip said emphatically. “And if she does, it won’t make a difference to me. She made a choice and we’re done.” He wasn’t in the mood for a session at the moment. “Mary, I appreciate what you’re trying to do, but I’ve had time to process everything and I’m not falling apart.”
“Well, I wouldn’t be worth the paper my PhD is written on if I didn’t reach out to you at a time like this. You’ve been through a lot this past year, and I know you’ve worked very hard to hold it together.”
“I wasn’t always successful,” he replied, in his typical self-effacing manner.
“You don’t need to be successful in this case. You just need to know when to ask for help.”
“I will. I promise.”
Mary let Philip’s words hang in the air before asking, “How’s Parker doing?”
“Parker,” Philip sighed. “He’s growing up too fast—I mean because of the circumstances. He worries about me and he worries about his mom, and the future. I try to reassure him I’m not going anywhere. I abandoned him for two months after the accident and it took its toll.”
“If it makes you feel any better, It’s not unusual for children Parker’s age to start worrying about the health and welfare of their parents.”
“Except the circumstances are unusual.”
“I’d like to schedule time to talk to Parker.”
“I think that’s a good idea.”
“In fact, I’d like to schedule weekly sessions with each of you.” When Philip nodded, Mary stated, “I’ll text you some dates and times and you can let me know what works best. And Philip, if I don’t hear from you, I’m going to call you again in a few days, whether you like it or not.”
Philip smiled. “I wouldn’t expect anything less from you.” He ended the call and just stared at the blank display.
“You okay, Daddy?” Parker asked.
Philip quickly looked up. “I didn’t mean to wake you, kiddo.”
“Who was on the phone,” the boy asked.
Philip briefly considered lying, but knew the truth was the better way to go. “It was Dr. Richards. Mary.”
“Did she upset you? You look sad.”
Philip got up and moved to the sofa to sit next to Parker. “Yeah, I guess the call did upset me a little.”
“Why? What’d she say?”
“She told me she spoke to your mom.”
“Is Mommy okay?”
“I don’t really know, but Mary said that she’s going to start working with your Mom and try to help her—something I wasn’t able to do.”
“Yeah, but you tried,” Parker reasoned.
Philip smiled a little. “Yes I did.”
Parker cocked his head and opened his arms. “Come here,” he said to his father, mimicking a phrase Philip had often said to the boy before giving him a hug.
Philip welcomed the embrace. Resting his cheek on Parker head, he whispered, “I feel much better now.”
