Kind of like the fine line between love and hate. I wonder if Melanie has even considered how she would deal with Philip and Chloe sharing custody of Parker if that comes to pass. The bigger question is IF Philip will share custody of Parker. Philip could agree with Melanie and think Chloe is a tad too unstable to be around him as well. |

That's true. I guess my point is there are a lot of things to consider when/if Philip wakes up. I feel like she believes everything can be the way it was before the ONS.

Yeah, I think she is hoping for that. It is almost like she feels if they can make it through this illness, then why can't they still make their marriage work? But you know life....curveball after curveball. If only people behaved the way you wanted them to. |

I think it's also easier to forgive someone who's so ill. I wonder if her feelings of anger and betrayal will resurface down the road.

I think because of her involvement in how it all went down (the Nathan stuff), it made it a little easier. And if Philip had slept with anyone other than Chloe, she would have taken him back. In Undertow there will be more to deal with. There is the Chloe factor and Philip's connection to her. Melanie will question where Philip's heart truly lies.... (a little spoiler there) |

If and when Philip wakes up, will he get a new car? Did insurance cover the damages on the old one? I don't know why I care about that, but I guess I was just thinking about how Philip looks in a Jag.

Philip has a collection of cars. Some of us (like me) buy shoes when depressed....Philip K buys cars. Oh and the old Jag was totaled.  |

Melanie must have wondered why the pile of cars in Maggie's driveway was getting bigger and bigger. She should have figured out he saw her kissing Nathan. LOL.
