Wow, Explosive Chapter!! (hee!) I'm sure all will be well, but wow that's an unexpected happening for a Monday morning installment.
@sg, I didn't know there was a 911 app either but I had two immediate thoughts on reading that. First, I've got to get one of those! And then, no I better not because my phone has a tendency to open up apps when unattended and I can just see it prank calling 911 and getting me in trouble for it.

OH MY GOSH! I am totally stunned. They must have went out the back door. There is no way that our jkjpatch would ever let Philip or Wesley be harmed, right? LOL
I cannot wait for tomorrow's installment. I was expecting something to be wrong with Philip. Car accident on the way home, etc. something to that effect!

I flashed back to Stephanie running around in her little shorty lingerie at the Kiriakis mansion for days and days....!!!! |

A couple things... There's no app for 911? Oh well. djm - I use my keyboard nowadays.  djm and Addicted - I'll have you know, and everyone else, especially Minako who hates previews, that I started posting this story last Wednesday instead of Tuesday just so that this chapter would not fall on Friday. I didn't want to put you all through that torture of waiting through the weekend. You can thank me now.  |

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Chloe is bleery-eyed as she hears a distant-sounding voice calling her name and sees a bright light coming toward her.
Man 1: Chloe honey, can you hear me? The man shines a flashlight into Chloe’s eyes. Look at me, Chloe. Do you know who I am?
Chloe is trying hard to focus but everything feels so far away and surreal to her. Suddenly another man and a woman start shouting.
Woman: You’ve finally done it! Are you happy now? I always knew you would destroy him! I should have finished you off when I had the chance!
Man 2: Don’t worry. She won’t live to see tomorrow.
Woman: Tomorrow can’t come soon enough for me.
Man 1: That’s enough. Now ... is not ... the time.
Woman: It wasn’t their time either, and they’re gone!
Man 1: I said that’s enough, Kate! Get out or I’ll call Security!
Victor and Kate leave the hospital room.
Man 1: Chloe? Do you know who I am? Do you remember what happened?
Chloe: Daniel? Yes, of course I know who you are. But what am I doing here in the hospital? Everything ... feels so strange.
Daniel: So you don’t remember what happened.
Chloe: The last thing I remember is ... um ... the last thing ... The last ....
A look of terror comes over Chloe’s face.
Chloe: No! No. No. Noooo. Oh god. Wesley! Where’s my baby?
Daniel: Shhh. Take it easy, Chloe.
Chloe: No I won’t. Tell me where he is. And where’s Philip? I need him. Where’s our baby?
Daniel: Honey, they’re gone.
Chloe: No.
Daniel: They didn’t make it out.
Chloe: What??? No. What do you mean “they”?
Daniel: Your neighbors said that Philip got you out of the house, then he went back inside to get Parker. I mean Wesley. They both died in the fire.
Chloe: I don’t believe you.
Chloe throws her covers off and gets out of the bed. Daniel grabs her and gives her a hypodermic with a sedative in it. Her body goes limp.
Daniel: I’m sorry honey. I know this is just postponing the pain, but I can’t bear to see you like this.
He strokes her hair and lifts her back onto the bed.
