Wow! I am on pins and needles here trying to figure out what happened to Philip and Wesley!! There is no way kpatch would kill them off. They had to have gotten out....or maybe someone kidnapped them, went out the back door, and then set the bomb off making everyone think they died??? There most certainly is an explanation to this. :arms crossed, pouting:

Geez, like Kate and Victor need another reason to hate Chloe. Poor girl, I hope Daniel keeps an eye on her and keeps Kate and Vic away or else she's gonna end up d.e.a.d.

Great job with the voices J! I knew Man 1 was Daniel as soon as I saw the pauses in his speech.

... and yes, I know Philip is on the cutting edge of technology, I mean he does own a company that was developing plans to utilize Nick Fallon's alternative fuel discovery after all.

Kazz you beat me to it. I was going to say the same thing about although this is jkjpatch's story, it is still Salem (unless Phillip, Chloe, & Wesley have moved and I missed it) and we all know that no one is ever really dead.

I don't believe it neither but I am sitting at my desk with tears in my eyes and goosebumps. There is no way that jkjpatch would let harm come to Philip or the baby. She has to be tricking us.

I bet it was Kate who blew the house up!

^^ ... and it's not like it would be the first time that Kate set fire to a house that one of her son's ending up being trapped inside - she put Lucas in a coma for nearly a year when she was trying to kill Victor by setting the Kiriakis mansion ablaze.

ST. LUKE’S CEMETARY

The mourners are standing or sitting at the gravesite. A soloist is softly singing “The Heart Will Go On” as Father Matt delivers his eulogy.

Father Matt: We commend the spirt of Philip Robert Kiriakis and Wesley Lane Kiriakis to heaven. Even though their earthly bodies have turned to ash, we symbolically bury them here so that we may have a place to come and remember. On earth and in heaven, they will always live on in the hearts of those who love them.
He picks up a handful of dirt and tosses it into the graves.
Father Matt: Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

The mourners bow their heads as Taps is played. Two Marines fold the American flag and hand it to Chloe who is seated in a folding chair, dressed all in black. She clutches the flag to her breast. After the Marines walk away, the mourners approach Chloe, one by one.
Lucas: I warned Philip. I told him you would hurt him, it’s just a matter of when. But I had no way of knowing you’d actually kill him.
Melanie: All you ever think about is sex, isn’t it? I mean, that’s what you were planning when you lit those candles and caused the fire that killed your husband and your helpless baby.
Kate: You destroy everything you touch. Poison isn’t good enough for you anymore.
Victor: Watch your back, Chloe. You’re as good as dead.
Kate: Nothing is as good as dead where she’s concerned.
Vivian: I know the perfect method for disposing of you.
Brady walks over and stands behind a sobbing Chloe, putting his hands on her shoulders.
Brady: Knock it off! Leave her in peace. Can’t you see that she’s going through hell?

Kate: Not soon enough.
Victor: Don’t you dare stick up for her, Brady. Don’t you dare go anywhere near her. If you do ...
Brady: I don’t want to hear any of your threats. Just get out of here. Out of respect for Philip and Wesley, just get out of here. All of you.
 
As the mourners walk away from the gravesite, Brady sits down next to Chloe.
Chloe: Why didn’t I die too?
Brady: Don’t say that.
Chloe: I should have been the one to die. Not them. Why am I still alive?
Brady: Shhh.
Chloe: I have nothing to live for anymore. I can’t go on without them.
Brady: Chloe, you’re wrong. I know you believe in god and you have to know that there’s a reason that this happened.
Chloe: You think there’s a reason that my innocent little baby was taken from me???
Brady: I don’t know what that reason is, but you just have to put your faith in god.
Chloe: I don’t have any faith in anything anymore.
Father Matt hears this and walks over.
Father Matt: Child, it pains me to hear you say that. You know that god loves you.
Chloe can’t bring herself to look at Father Matt.
Chloe: Brady, can you take me home?
Brady: Of course.

Just finished crying after reading this chapter. Boy I sure hated Lucas. The others I was expecting to be mean to Chloe. So glad no bodies were found. It gives me hope. Thanks for the chapter Kpatch

Man, this is way too sad a way to start my day. And I tell you what! I have never wanted to punch the you-know-what outta Lucas, but I did after reading that!!! And Melanie too! So now I'm sad and mad.

I can't decide if this is a dream or if it's real and Philip and Wesley are either in hiding or were taken. Hmmmm....very intriguing indeed.
