I am ready for my happy ending too!  Poor Chloe. It is nice to see someone besides Maggie is being nice to her too! Can't wait for the finale tomorrow! |

Okay - just found this story and can't believe that poor Phillip and Wesley are dead!!! Please say it ain't so and that Phillip is going to contact Chloe and they are going to leave Salem TOGETHER and live happily ever after.
If this story does end tomorrow with Phillip and Wesley being "morally, ethic'ly, Spiritually, physically, Positively, absolutely Undeniably and reliably Dead!" then I want to go with y'all to Tampa to pay a visit to our dear friend.

He slams the phone down as Kate walks in.Kate: You’re in a fine mood. What did Gene Briscoe do now? Victor: Aah, someone must have told Chloe about Philip’s life insurance policy. She’s trying to claim it. Kate: Hmmm. Victor: He left everything to her. Everything! To her and the baby. Kate: What an idiot. Victor: Who are you talking about? Chloe or Philip? Kate: Philip. Why would he leave everything to someone like Chloe? History had to tell him that the marriage wasn’t going to last forever. Victor: You’re right. Our son is an idiot. As for Chloe, she may be dumb, but she’s no fool. Kate: No woman is a fool when it comes to a rich man’s money. Victor: You know, Kate, this may just be the break we’ve been hoping for. Kate: What are you talking about? Victor: Chloe trying to get her hands on Philip’s wealth. This could give us ammunition to charge her with negligent homicide. We could easily prove that she offed Philip for his money. Kate: Ooh, good thinking Victor. Victor: I’ll call Gene again and get him to start building a case against Chloe. Ah, it’s so tiresome to have to try to think of everything myself. I figured we were home free. Kate: I have to admit that I do miss Philip from time to time. Victor: As do I. Kate: Even so, I’d rather have Philip dead than in Chloe’s clutches. Victor: Kate, what an awful thing to say! Kate: Oh stuff it, Victor. I wouldn’t talk like that if Philip was really dead. I knew they weren't really dead!!! WHEW!! But The End? Is there a sequel coming for this?
If there isn't, then there has to be. I have so many unanswered questions!
This story actually ends in a cliffhanger??? AARRRGGGHH!!

Ugh....a story ending cliffhanger....gosh, I don't know whether to applaud you for your creativity or slap you for leaving us hanging! ;D I guess I should just be happy that Philip and Wesley are alive somewhere based on that cryptic conversation. Maybe someday we'll get a sequel to find out what really happened to them. Thanks for the great story, patch!  |

Great story. Kpatch, you really know how to rip our hearts out and shove it down our throats. I feel like I've been through h-e-double hockey sticks and somehow I enjoyed the journey. Can't wait for the sequel when Philip makes his way back to Salem. I can't imagine that you'd leave Chloe sad and miserable forever.

Hurry hurry hurry and post your next story...hopefully it is all about him making his way back to Chloe. Maybe Kate has them trapped in a cabin in the middle of timbuktu?!? And they cannot find their way back! AhhH! Philip would NEVER leave Chloe like that! EVER! Thanks for a great story jkjpatch! But we definitely need to move onto the next one....like tomorrow  |
