 Oh my God, that email just killed me! I am crying my face off right now. I know Chloe is still mourning the loss of Philip and Wesley but what a wonderful message to hold on to, even if it was Philip's last. Can't wait to see how all this comes to an end! Great job patch!

Sometimes I'm really rather dense.....I get it now though.....Philip is dead, he's not hiding, he's not making a plan, he's not been kidnapped.....Jay Kenneth Johnson as Philip is leaving our lives just as he is on the actual show......not sure why the baby had to go, but alas, it is not my story, it's kpatch's and that's good enough for me......

Perhaps the intention was to have Philip's exit truly be of the hero. Chloe was going on so she couldn't die instead. Philip dies saving Chloe & trying to save his son.
But I still say, this is fake! I will not believe it unless I have to.

SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Chloe is sitting in a chair in the 3rd floor lobby when Daniel picks up a chart at the nurse’s station. He sees Chloe crying and he thinks about going over there. He hesitates, then takes the seat next to hers.
Daniel: Are you okay?
Chloe: No.
Daniel: Is there anything I can do?
Chloe: No, there’s nothing anyone can do.
Daniel: Do you want to talk about it?
Chloe [taking a deep breath]: I thought I was pregnant. But I just found out I’m not.
Daniel: And that’s a bad thing?
Chloe: You don’t understand. It was my only chance to have something of Philip’s. To have his baby. That would have meant everything to me. That would have …
Daniel: Replaced Parker?
Chloe: Wesley.
Daniel: I loved Parker too. But you can’t replace people, honey. You know that.
Chloe [sarcastically]: Thanks for reminding me.
Daniel: I know you’ve been going through hell. I’m sorry.
Chloe: Don’t say that you’re sorry. I deserve it. I deserve everything I’m going through. But they didn’t deserve it. They didn’t deserve to die because of me.
Daniel: Have you talked to someone about this? I mean a professional. A counselor?
Chloe: That’s your answer to everything, isn’t it, Daniel?
Daniel: I’m sorry. I was … trying to help.
Chloe: Nothing will help.
Daniel: Well, if you don’t want to talk to a professional, you can always talk to a friend. You can talk to me.
Chloe: You?
Daniel: I know I may not be the ideal person to talk to, but we were once ... close. I know you need someone you can count on. I’d like to be that person. He takes her hand. I’m here for you Chloe.

No!! Don't do it Chloe!! Stay away from Dr. McNasty!! I feel so bad for Chloe.....she thought she was pregnant. Poor thing. Geez, patch, are we going to get any kind of quasi-happy ending here?  That would have been wonderful if Chloe was going to have another Philip offspring....there needs to be more of those in the world of Salem. ;D Can't wait for the finale! |

Whew, thank goodnes it ends tomorrow and not a day later... I may be computerless starting Wednesday for a week...
Now as Chloe, poor thing is suffering so much! Don't talk to Dr Dan as he may not be the comfort you need... Go look for Nicole or truly get a grief counsellor but do it on your own and not with Daniel's help.
You can get through this on your own! You can become strong & independent. Yes you can!

As I recall, this story started on a Wednesday. If it had started on Monday (like they usually do, I think) it would have ended on April Fool's Day, with, I'm hoping, Chloe waking up from the dream/nightmare. But it's not over yet. Guess we have to wait till tomorrow. I'm ready for my happy ending kpatch!!! |
