Thanks for the tip sportsgirl. I need to try Closys again. I used the foil/baking powder method and it definitely got rid of most, but not all of the tarnish on the candlesticks. At least now I can read the inscription once again.

I have a whole box of silver stuff sitting in the garage that was hubby's. I just have nowhere to put it. Hubby says it used to be his moms.

Anyone know a quick and easy way to get lint off of a polo shirt. I washed a navy polo in the washing machine, and it is now covered with lint.

Kpatch, one of those lint rollers that looks like masking tape and has a handle should do the trick!

Thanks Sticky! I have one of those. It works so-so for me. I was hoping for something miraculous. LOL.

Have you tried a rubber glove like you use for cleaning? Just put it on and run your palm over the fabric. Occasionally I will use that if I've run out of the lint roller refills to remove pet hair....haven't tried it with actual lint, though.

Ron suggested this. Take a wet towel and rub the garment to get the lint off. It seems to have worked. Thanks for the suggestions, guys!
