SALEM INN
Lucas is in his Salem Inn hotel room watching Chloe who is across the street in Sami’s apartment. Chloe appears to be looking for the perfectest place to plant the bug. Lucas sees through the fourth floor hallway window that Sami, Rafe and the kids are getting off the elevator. His eyes go wide.
Lucas: Oh no! Chloe hide!
Chloe hears the key in the lock of the front door and she makes a mad dash for one of the many bedrooms as Sami and Rafe and the brood enter the apartment. She waits until the family is busy and she tiptoes to the doorway undetected while everyone sits in the living room. In his hotel room, Lucas is squirming in his wheelchair. He covers his eyes with his hand as it’s too nervewracking to watch the scene across the street.
Chloe reaches for the door and steps outside into the hallway, but she slams the door a little too roughly. Sami and Rafe look in the direction of the door and Sami goes to see what the noise was. She opens the door and there stands Chloe.
Lucas starts watching through his telescope and he’s gotten pretty good at reading lips. He sees Sami and Chloe talking.
Sami: Chloe. What the hell are you doing with your rear?
Chloe: Muchas gracias Sami. Ich bin ein berliner.
Lucas realizes he’s not as good at reading lips as he thought. Then he sees Chloe pointing toward the hotel and he sees Sami nodding.
Lucas: Damn it, Chloe. What the hell are you telling Sami?
Suddenly, Lucas’ attention is distracted by the commotion coming from the hotel room across the courtyard. He’s beyond shocked by what he sees.

Now what is happening at the hotel? Is it Vivian and Gus visiting Quinn?

Lucas sees Kate handing Quinn a wad of cash and he can hear them talking.
Quinn: This isn’t the agreed-upon amount. You owe me twice this much!
Kate: You’ll get the rest when I get my proof.
Quinn: You sure are a vindictive bitch.
Kate: How dare you speak to me that way! I can take my business elsewhere. Do you understand?
Quinn: I understand you’re out for some kind of revenge.
Kate: Not revenge. I’m merely protecting my grandson from the mother from hell.
Quinn: Sounds like someone needs to protect your son from the mother from hell.
Kate: Watch your tongue or I’ll make good on my threat.
Quinn: Fine. Fine. Chloe is in Room 416 down the hall.
Kate: Excellent.
Lucas sees Kate leave Quinn’s room. He can hear the door down the hall shut and then silence. A moment later, Lucas wheels to his hotel room door, opens it and, as he expected, Kate was standing there. Her jaw drops.
Lucas: Hi Mom.
