Glad to hear how Parker got out of that situation. Can we please have previews, Kpatch?

It's good that Parker was able to tell Mary and Chloe what happened. How awful to be alone in the dark believing that his Mom was dead.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting all week. It was a little hard to hear about Parker’s experience, wasn't it?
Previews...
This week, Chloe will open up to Mary in a private session.
Back at home, the family tries to get back to normal, but that's hard to do when Philip and Chloe are sleeping in separate rooms.

TBH, at this point, Chloe probably needs as much or more time wit Dr Richards than Parker does! Thanks for the preview, boss!

Thanks for the previews Kpatch. Hopefully a therapy appointment will help Chloe to process everything.

Chapter 38f
Mary sent Parker into the playroom next door with the one-way mirror where they could watch him while Chloe had her session. “I was hoping Philip would come,” she remarked.
“He wanted to, but he had to work on crisis communications with the Titan security team. He said he’d call and schedule an appointment.”
“Good. I really want to see the both of you together.” Mary folded her hands on her lap. “How are you doing? Really.”
Sighing deeply, Chloe ran her hand through her hair and said, “I’m kind of a mess. Who wouldn’t be after hearing what Parker just told us.” Mary said, nothing, so Chloe continued. “And it’s my fault. As a parent, it’s my responsibility to make sure nothing like that ever happens. I’m supposed to keep him safe.”
“Guilt isn’t productive, Chloe.”
“I know, but how am I supposed to get past that?” She looked toward the playroom where Parker was playing with a train set. “How can Parker get past that?”
“By continuing to talk things out, just as you’re doing now. I know you have a tendency to want to keep things to yourself, but we both know it’s much healthier to get it out,” Mary said. “And as hard as that was to hear just now, I’m thrilled Parker was able to articulate his experience. It’s clear he doesn’t hold you responsible, Chloe. In fact, I don’t think he would have told us everything if you weren’t in the room with us. He needed the reassurance of seeing you were alive and well as he relived his ordeal.” Chloe nodded and bit her lip. “I’ll stop talking now," Mary said. “I’m getting a sense there’s something you need to say.”
Chloe nodded and blinked back her tears. “On top of everything, I’ve made a mess of things with Philip.”
“Tell me what you mean.”

Wait--Chloe's blaming herself?? Where did this come from?
And she realizes that she's messed up with Philip? Does that mean that she's figured out that this whole thing isn't his responsibility? Has she forgiven him for what happened on the cruise?
So many questions............

I'm glad Chloe realizes she messed things up with Philip. However I don't think she's to blame for Parker going missing, Monica is.

Guilt may not be productive but Chloe needs to process it so she can get rid of it. I'm glad she's finally expressing it instead of projecting it onto Philip.
I think it's good she's having this session alone.

Well, it sounds like Chloe might finally be on the right track thought wise. For once she's not blaming Philip. However, I just can't let go of the feeling that she will never stop blaming Philip for everything that goes wrong.
She most definitely needed this session alone.....and she needs more of them that way too. I'm not sure they need to rush into a couple session just yet.

As much as I'm glad it appears she's not blaming Philip right now, I'm not convinced she won't later Also blaming herself doesn't make it right either I get she's been through a lot but girl is a train wreck Definitely needs more one on on sessions She needs to fix herself before her and Philip

I'm glad Chloe is being honest about her guilt and about messing things up with Philip.

Chapter 38g
Chloe nodded and blinked back her tears. “On top of everything, I made a mess of things with Philip.”
“Tell me what you mean,” Mary said.
“I mean I was wrong.” She looked down and squeezed her hands together on her lap. “I was scared and angry and frustrated and instead of turning to Philip for comfort, I turned on him.” Looking up again, she admitted, “My only excuse is I needed someone to blame, but it should never have been Philip. This wasn’t his fault. He was just as much a victim as Parker, yet somehow he’s managed to keep it together, while all I’ve done is to make things harder on everyone.”
“This is good, Chloe. This is a good realization. What brought you to this epiphany?”
She closed her eyes for a moment to collect her thoughts. Taking a deep breath, she looked at Mary and said, “It wasn’t a lightning bolt or anything. It was a lot of little things. It was Philip’s kindness despite how cold I’ve been to him. Last night, he fell asleep in Parker’s room while they were reading together.”
Chloe stood in the doorway of Parker’s room watching her two guys sleeping. One of them was snoring softly but she couldn't tell which one from where she was standing. She'd been hoping for a chance to speak to Philip tonight but that chance never materialized. It was her own fault for not letting him know she wanted to talk, but they’d been focused on Parker all evening. Everything else was secondary. So she stepped closer and adjusted the covers on the both of them. Now she knew—it was Philip who was snoring. Poor guy was exhausted and so was she. “Tomorrow,” she whispered. “We’ll talk tomorrow.” She lightly kissed his forehead before leaving the room and going to bed.
“It was such a beautiful sight. You should have seen them, Mary. It made me so happy and so sad all at the same time. And this morning, he was so sweet and patient with Parker. I watched him holding Parker as we walked into the office. He was so strong and protective.” A tear rolled down her cheek and she wiped it away with her fingers. “He’d never do anything to put that little boy in harm’s way. He’d do anything for his family.”
Mary held up a Kleenex box and Chloe plucked out a tissue. As she dabbed her eyes, Mary asked, “Now that you’ve realized this, what will you do?”
“I don’t know.” She shrugged. “I mean, how do you say you’re sorry when you don’t deserve forgiveness?”
“How about starting by telling him exactly what you just told me?”
