Nope. Not buying this. Dr Richards didn't take Parker. Someone signed her name is all. I have thoughts about who.... Dr Richards just has too much to lose professionally and personally by taking Parker, IMO, even if she was inclined toward kidnapping.

I think it's too easy to pin it on dr Richards Maybe victor hired someone to do it to be miserable about them getting married and taking a few days off for vacation I dunno I don't like Mary but I just don't think she'd kidnap a child

I decided to start reading this one as I will probably never get caught up. Not sure exactly who Dr Richards is, but it sure would be too obvious to put a real name in a kidnapping.

I don't believe for one minute that Dr. Richards signed him out.
And who the heck signs a child out AND takes them from the daycare with no one noticing? Do they not have a front desk or check-in/out sheet that has to be handed to them by an employee at any point?

It's terrifying to think someone could walk into a daycare and take a child. Whoever did it must have been watching them to know Mary's name. Poor Parker.

Not sure exactly who Dr Richards is ... sportsgirl , nutshell explanation: Mary Richards is a family counselor. She’s a no-nonsense therapist who’s been seeing Philip, Chloe, and Parker individually, for couples counseling, and for family counseling. Parker stayed with her and her husband while Philip and Chloe took a much-needed long weekend-getaway cruise on a private yacht.

Chapter 1b
Chloe’s stomach dropped and she felt like she was going to throw up. “Are you … You can’t be implying my son’s been taken, that he’s not just missing? He was k— k— kidnapped?”
“That’s just a preliminary conjecture, ma’am. I have officers going floor-to-floor to see if anyone has any information,” the cop said.
“I don’t understand,” she said, looking at the three caretakers. “How could someone just sign Mary’s name and take him out without being stopped?”
“One of the children—Pam Morris—had an accident,” Deb said, “and I hate like hell to admit it, but our attention was diverted.”
Chloe glanced at Philip and muttered something under her breath. She quickly dug through her purse and took out her phone. “Here.” She held the phone out to the officer. “Here’s a picture of my son.”
“We already have a recent picture, ma’am,” the officer reminded her, holding up the photo he originally showed Philip.
Philip blinked, trying to focus and absorb the information. He looked at the cop. “There are security cameras in the lobby. If someone took him….”
“We’re on it, sir. We’re putting out an Amber Alert and getting a warrant to have the Tishman Corporation release the digital file to us.”
“A warrant?” Chloe asked. “How long will that take?”
“It’s being expedited. Don’t worry—“
“Don’t worry?” Chloe said incredulously. “My son might have been kidnapped and you’re telling me not to worry?”
Philip started to reach out to Chloe to calm her down. He tried to say her name but his lips were too dry. His knees started to buckle again. The officer caught him with one arm and pulled out a chair with his other hand. “Here, sir. Why don’t you sit down.”
Philip plopped into a chair. “I can’t sit. I need to go look for my son,” he mumbled unintelligibly. He watched Chloe wring her hands and pace in slow motion. She grew blurry and far away. Philip felt like he was falling and there was nothing he could do to stop it. He slid out of his chair and onto the floor, flipping the chair over as he fell.
