JASON: Well, well, look what we have here.
JAN: Jason.
JASON: Hey, gorgeous. I thought you were in a coma.
JAN: I was, but then I got out of it.
JASON: Cool.
Jan looked over at Shawn-D and Belle.
JASON: You still hung up on that loser?
JAN: Shawn is not a loser. He's a much better boyfriend than you ever were.
JASON: Whatever. Glad to see you haven't changed. You're still the same crazy girl I knew.
JAN: Well, it looks like I'm not the only one who hasn't changed.
Jan walked away.
JASON: Hey, I'm just trying to make conversation.
Cynthia walked over.
CYNTHIA: Forget her. She's always been a stuck up little brat. Wanna go have some real fun?
JASON: Yeah, why not?
Jason and Cynthia walked away together.
CHLOE: You guys look like you're doing great!
Chloe hugged Susan and Penny.
SUSAN: Thanks! So do you!
CHLOE: What are you guys up to these days?
PENNY: Well, I'm a travelling photographer for a nature blog.
SUSAN: And I'm a guidance counselor.
CHLOE: That's great!
SUSAN: You actually kind of inspired me to do it. You were pretty awesome to us back in high school.
CHLOE: You guys are my good friends. And how could anyone not be awesome to you two?
The girls hugged again.
PENNY: We hear you're a famous opera singer.
CHLOE: Well, I wouldn't say famous, but I definitely do opera.
SUSAN: I'm glad. I always remember you had such a pretty voice.
CHLOE: Thank you. Oh, I've missed you!
SUSAN: We've missed you, too! Seriously, it's been way too long since we saw each other!
CHLOE: Definitely! You guys should come down to Chicago sometime.
PENNY: We will! For sure!
A large group of people had been dancing throughout the night. Suddenly, Belle and Mimi, who had been catching up with other students, heard several of the other women their whistling, and saw them looking in the direction of the dance floor. They turned to see Shawn-D in the center of the dance floor, pointing at Belle.
SHAWN-D: You, let's dance.
MIMI: Ooh! I can't believe he's doing this again!
BELLE: This? Oh, man! I can't believe he remembers this!
SHAWN-D: Come on, Belle!
BELLE: Thought you said our first Last Blast was the last night of disco.
SHAWN-D: Last night of disco for the 20th century. This is the 21st. It's bene over fifteen years, and we got a lot of catching up to do on our disco moves.
MIMI: Go on, Belle! Dance with him! Come on, everybody! Belle! Belle! Belle!
As they had been 18 years ago at the 1999 Last Blast Dance, the whole room was soon chanting Belle's name. Belle walked over and took Shawn-D by the hand.
BELLE: You better still have the moves, Brady.
SHAWN-D: You better still be able to keep up, Belle.
BELLE: Oh, that won't be a problem.
Shawn-D and Belle kissed.
SHAWN-D: We'll see. Hit it!
Shawn-D and Belle began to dance as the sound of a familiar Bee Gees song flowed from the speakers.
