Chapter 505

CHEZ ROUGE
PHILIP: What kind of arrangement did you have in mind? I’m open.
TONY: I was thinking that we could work together.
PHILIP: Are you serious?
TONY: Why not? We’ve already proven that we work well as a team.
PHILIP: Well, there is the small matter of me running a third of Titan while you run half of DiMera. Which, if you’ve forgotten, are rival companies.
TONY: Oh, I am well aware of the fact of our current employment situations.
PHILIP: You’re not suggesting that we merge, are you? Because even though he isn’t in charge anymore, if we did and my father found out, he’d probably disown me on the spot.
TONY: Well, we can’t have that. No, Philip, I was thinking that we work together against a common enemy.
PHILP: What? André? It’s gonna take more than us to bring him down.
TONY: No, André is a problem for another time. Try thinking a little bit closer to home. Who else is in the business world that could prove to be competition for both of our companies?
PHILIP: Nicholas Alamain.
TONY: Exactly. Now, I’m not suggesting a merger or anything of that sort, and we would, of course, have to sort out the details, but I was thinking that we you and I could secretly work together to bring down Alamain Industries. What do you say?
Philip thought for a moment.
PHILIP: Okay. You’ve got a deal.
Tony held out his hand, which Philip took and the two men shook. A few tables away, hiding behind a newspaper, a man who looked eerily similar to Tony smiled. He had heard everything.

NICOLE & DANIEL’S APARTMENT
Nicole slammed the door shut and took a deep breath. Daniel put a hand on her shoulder.
DANIEL: Nicole-
NICOLE: I can’t believe it. I seriously cannot believe that somebody had the balls to do that. I mean, I know what few of his men are left are crazy, but this...this is a whole new level.
DANIEL: Do you think there’s any truth to what he said?
NICOLE: Probably not. Though, I do know that my father slept around. He “tested” every girl he had, except for one. But even if he is telling the truth, I need to find out.
Nicole stormed into another room. Daniel followed her.
DANIEL: Nicole-
NICOLE: Daniel, don’t try to talk me out of this. I know what I’m doing. I’m going to find out what this Dante creep is all about, and nobody is going to stop me.
DANIEL: Who said anything about stopping you? I want to know what’s going on, too. I’m joining you.
NICOLE: I can’t ask you to do that.
DANIEL: You didn’t. And, you can try to stop me, you could, but that would just waste time in finding out more about this Dante guy. Nicole, when we got together, I told you, I made you the promise that I was all in. So, let me keep that promise. We, Nicole, we are a team. There is no way in hell that I would ever let you face this alone. Not after everything we’ve been through. Like I said, Nicole, you and I, we are strong. And whatever this Dante is up to, we’ll get through it. Together.
NICOLE: How the hell did I get so lucky to have someone like you by my side?
DANIEL: I’m the one who’s lucky. I have the smartest, strongest, most wonderful woman in the world in my life.
Nicole took Daniel by the hand, and the two kissed.
DANIEL: Now, are you ready to be partners in crime again?
NICOLE: In a minute. I need to make a phone call first.
Daniel nodded.
DANIEL: I’ll be right outside.
Daniel left the room as Nicole dialed a number.
NICOLE: Hey, it’s me. I need to see you as soon as possible. How quickly can you get back to Salem?

Oh yes! Daniel and Nicole working together is going to be awesome! Just like when they went after Chyka (minus Nicole's stupid decision afterwards). I wonder who Nicole called.

So, seems Andre was spying on Tony and Philip. You'd think a Dimera who has dealt with Andre multiple times would know better than to make plans in public.

Chapter 506

TITAN
Jody and Vic walked out of their office and towards Philip’s.
VIC: So, what d’you suppose Phil wants?
JODY: First of all, it’s Philip. Remember what Uncle Victor said about being more respectful.
VIC: Sorry. What do you think Philip wants?
JODY: Not sure, to be honest. He’s only been back a day or two, and this is his first day back on the job. It’s probably just a meeting to see what’s been going on in his absence.
VIC: Or, he’s gonna fire us.
JODY: Philip isn’t going to fire is, Vic.
VIC: He might.
JODY: Look, even if he wanted to, Uncle Victor wouldn’t let him. He’d more than likely make Philip a deal to send us back to Dubai. But, let’s not worry about that. Like I said, I’m sure this is just a meeting to catch up on the goings on of Titan while he’s been gone.
They reached Philip’s office. Jody knocked on the door and then the two went in. Philip put down his paper.
PHILIP: I’m glad you’re both here. We need to have a talk.

BAYVIEW SANITARIUM
Brady sat on the bed in his room, flipping through channels on the TV. There was a knock on the door.
BRADY: Come in.
The door opened and John walked in.
JOHN: Hey, kid.
BRADY: Dad.
Brady turned off the TV and stood up. He and John hugged.
JOHN: You’re looking pretty good. How’re you feeling?
BRADY: Better. A lot better.
JOHN: Excellent.
The two took a seat.
BRADY: How are Tate and Theresa?
JOHN: Tate’s great. Maggie and Victor are looking after him, and Doc and I chip in when we can. Theresa is another story, though.
BRADY: What do you mean?
JOHN: I don’t know how much Doc’s told you about this, but André kidnapped both you and Theresa at the same time.
BRADY: Yeah, I know that.
JOHN: Well, her brainwashing broke earlier than yours did, but she’s still not back to herself. I have no idea what DiMera did to her, but if it was anything like what he did to you, it’s taking a long time for her to get back to herself.
BRADY: Gotcha. Honestly, I don’t remember much of my time under his spell, other than thinking that I was Lexie.
John nodded.
BRADY: I actually wanted to talk to you about that.
JOHN: About thinking you were Lexie?
BRADY: Sort of. About the whole situation, with my memories being temporarily erased and replaced with new ones. I mean, I know that for a long time, you thought you were Roman.
JOHN: That’s a fact.
BRADY: How did you do it? When you found out that you weren’t Roman at all, and that you were someone else, but you still had all those memories, how did you go on?
John raised an eyebrow.
BRADY: I know who I am, okay. I know I’m Brady Black. My memories of my real life are almost 100% back. But, every now and then, I still have a flash of memory from when I thought I was Lexie. And it all seemed so real. For that time, those few months, I had all of her memories, I knew all of her thoughts and feelings. I’m sure it must have been the same for you when you learned you weren’t Roman. So, how did you get passed that when the memories would still occasionally linger?

Brady's question is an interesting one, though I think it was a little bit different for John. I wonder what his answer will be.

I wonder what Philip is going to say to Jody and Vic. I hope Vic can be respectful during the meeting.

I'm wondering if Tony is laying a trap for Andre and using the take down of Alamain Industries to do it. A 2 birds with 1 stone kinda deal.

Brady has a really good question. A similar storyline is happening on General Hospital right now and my first thought was "Go ask Drew!!" LOL.

Chapter 507

TITAN
PHILIP: I’ve spent the last few days looking over my father’s notes on you two. Aside from a few of his trademark snide remarks, he seems to think you’ve both done well running the company.
JODY: We did our best. And we’ll continue to do our best wherever you decide to place us.
PHILIP: I’m glad to hear it. However, my father has informed me that he’s made the two of you co-CEOs alongside me. And, to be honest, I’m not sure I feel about this.
VIC: We understand. So, I guess it’s back to Dubai, then?
PHILIP: Only if you want it to be. I said I wasn’t sure about this, not that I wouldn’t go along with it. I had a talk with my father, and he reminded me that it was me who brought you here, and while he’s seen your work, I haven’t. So, I am extending your trial. The three of us will work together for the next few weeks. If it works out well, great. If not, well, we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. Any objections?
JODY: Not at all, that sounds fair enough to me.
VIC: Same here.
PHILIP: Excellent. Well, then, let’s get to work.

BAYVIEW SANITARIUM
JOHN: Tough question. It, uh, it wasn’t exactly the same as this, kid. When Stefano brainwashed me, he didn’t just give me Roman’s memories, he completely erased my own, and they didn’t come back. But, I suppose a big part of how I moved on was that I went looking for my real past. Plus, I had Doc by my side, and she had fallen in love with who I was, whether it was Roman or not. Also, the real Roman was around, so there’s that.
BRADY: I’m not entirely sure if that’ll work for me. I mean, I’m regaining my memories every day, and I know I have Tate, but Theresa, from what you’ve told me, she’s in bad shape.
JOHN: That’s a fact.
BRADY: I’m just...I’m not sure where to go from here.

NICOLE & DANIEL’S APARTMENT
There was a knock at the door.
NICOLE: I got it.
Daniel came out from the kitchen just as Nicole opened the door to find Brandon. she and Brandon hugged.
NICOLE: Thank god you’re here!
BRANDON: Of course I am. You know I’ll come anytime you need me. It’s good to see you, Nik.
NICOLE: You too. Come on in. I’ve got someone I want you to meet.
Nicole walked over to Daniel.
NICOLE: This is my fiancé, the man who’s finally stolen my heart for good, Daniel Jonas. Honey, this is my big brother, Brandon.
Daniel and Brandon shook hands.
DANIEL: So, this is Brandon. It’s nice to finally meet you. Nicole’s told me a lot about you.
BRANDON: Yeah, you too. Good to meet you.
DANIEL: Well, I just put some coffee on. You want some, Nicole?
NICOLE: Oh, yes!
DANIEL: You, Brandon?
BRANDON: If you’ve got some started, sure.
DANIEL: I’ll be back in a few.
While Daniel went into the kitchen, Nicole and Brandon sat down.
BRANDON: Daniel seems nice.
NICOLE: He is. He’s the best.
BRANDON: That’s good. I’m happy for you. So, when you called, you sounded upset. What’s going on, Nikki?

SALEM INN
Dante pulled out his phone and dialed a number.
DANTE: It’s me. I found Nicole Walker. No, I didn’t get very far. I think I may have made a mistake. I brought up the name Paul Mendez too early, but even before that, she wasn’t too interested in talking. So, what’s the next move?

I knew Dante was up to no good!

I'm so glad Nicole called Brandon. I'm excited to see what will happen.

I hope the twins staying works out and doesn't turn into a disaster for Philip.
