I understand how Trix feels. But if she really loves and wants to be with Ciara she can't go around ghosting her. That's sort of the opposite of having a relationship.

I wonder if Brady is being completely honest about having his own memories back. I don't trust Rolf not to have put a failsafe in when he brainwashed him.

Ciara and Trix will have to talk in order to get past this. Now that they know that nothing happened, it shouldn't be all that awkward and weird. If you can't talk about awkward and weird stuff with your significant other, then maybe that's not the right relationship for you after all.

BAYVIEW SANITARIUM
Marlena raised an eyebrow.
MARLENA: Brady, do you think that talking to Abe would be a good idea?
BRADY: Yes, I do.
MARLENA: Why do you feel that way?
BRADY: I’m not backsliding, if that’s what you’re trying to imply. I know who I really am. I know me thinking I was Lexie was just some stupid fantasy André DiMera put in my head to torture our family.
MARLENA: I wasn’t trying to imply anything. I am merely asking if you can elaborate your reasoning for wanting to speak with Abe.
BRADY: I want to apologize. I’m sure seeing me think I was Lexie was difficult. I want to apologize for upsetting him.
MARLENA: I see.
BRADY: So, would you at least ask him if he’ll come and see me? I mean, if he says no, he says no, but it can’t hurt to try, right?
MARLENA: I will ask him, yes.
BRADY: Thank you.
MARLENA: You’re welcome. Now, I will see you again tomorrow.
BRADY: Thanks, Marlena.
Marlena nodded and walked out.

SALEM UNIVERSITY
Now it was Ciara’s turn to cross her arms.
CIARA: I don’t know. But I do know one thing, we need to be more open with each other. Trix, you can’t just ghost me like that. That’s seriously not cool! I mean, I get feeling awkward about things, believe me, I felt that, too. But seriously, just ignoring the issue isn’t gonna do anything. We need to talk more.
TRIX: I know. I’m sorry.
CIARA: I mean, we talk about everything else. Why couldn’t we have talked about this?
TRIX: I didn’t know what to say. I just...I love you so much, and I don’t want to say the wrong thing and freak you out.
CIARA: Well, ignoring me is a great way to freak me out. Trix, if there’s something we need to talk about, then we need to talk about it.
TRIX: Okay. I agree.
Ciara uncrossed her arms.
TRIX: I do love you, you know.
CIARA: I know. And I love you, too. That’s why I’m going on and on about it. For this relationship to work, we need to be able to talk about stuff, even if it does make us feel awkward or scared. And, that’s something I need to work on, too.
TRIX: How d’you mean? You always talk about how you feel.
CIARA: Not the other night, I didn’t. I could have talked to you about how I was really sad about my Dad, and how mixed up I was feeling that night, but instead, I decided to get plastered. Like I said, we both need to work on it.
TRIX: Gotcha. So, I’ll promise to work on talking more if you do.
CIARA: Promise. ‘Cause I gotta tell you, you make me feel things that no one’s ever made me feel before, and I don’t want to ever let that go.
TRIX: Neither do I. I promise, I’ll be better about talking. Starting right now.
Trix pushed the door closed all the way.
CIARA: Me too.
Trix took Ciara’s hand in hers. The two sat down on an empty bed and turned to each other.
CIARA: So, about the other night, then?

I'm glad Ciara told Trix that ghosting her is not the answer. I'm curious to see where it goes (hopefully not to sex in a dorm room).

I wonder if Brady is as cured as he claims.

I'm glad Ciara and Trix talked things through but the conversation and reunion needs to be tabled for now. They are on a college tour.

I don't think that now is the time and place for this conversation for Trix and Ciara.

Boy I hope that Brady is right that he no longer believes he is Lexie. I'm afraid that once he sees Abe tho that he may fall back under a part of the brainwashing. I get wanting to apologize, but I'm afraid he needs to be further along first. Maybe start with an apology in a letter to Abe and then tell him that once he's further along, apologize again in person.

Chapter 501

SALEM UNIVERSITY
TRIX: It was intense. I mean, I liked hanging out with you, and I was okay with us having a drink, but I think it kinda got out of hand.
CIARA: Yeah. I totally agree.
TRIX: So, I’m not looking to do that again anytime soon.
CIARA: Me either.
TRIX: I guess I was just a little embarrassed, especially since we woke up in bed together and I couldn’t remember anything that happened that night.
CIARA: I get that. I felt the same.
TRIX: I really am sorry for ignoring you yesterday and this morning.
CIARA: I know. And I forgive you.
Ciara kissed Trix on the cheek.
TRIX: We should probably get back out there, I guess.
Ciara raised an eyebrow.
TRIX: I’m not trying to avoid talking about it, honest. But, we are kind of in the middle of a tour.
CIARA: Good point.
TRIX: But we are totally gonna continue talking about this later.
CIARA: You got it.
Trix took Ciara’s hand in hers and the two walked out of the room. The rest of their two groups were outside. Tawna and Rayne, the other R.A. in the girls dorm, walked to the front.
TAWNA: There you are.
RAYNE: I told you they couldn’t have gone far. Come on, Alamain. On with the tour.
TRIX: See ya later.
CIARA: Bye.
Trix followed Rayne and her group.
CIARA: Sorry for holding up the group.
TAWNA: Well, we’ll just have to speed through the P.E. section to save time. Come on.
Ciara followed Tawna’s group. Claire hung back so she and Ciara could walk together.
CLAIRE: How’d it go?
CIARA: Not bad. We talked, and we’re gonna talk more later.
CLAIRE: That’s good.

KIRIAKIS MANSION
Victor was reading the paper. Philip walked in and put his suitcases down.
PHILIP: I’m home!
Victor grunted and turned the page of his paper.
PHILIP: “Welcome home, son. How was your mission? I hope it was successful.” Why, yes, it certainly was. Thanks for asking.
VICTOR: You’ll forgive me if I don’t throw a parade when my son comes home and tells me he’s succeeded in throwing his life away.
PHILIP: I am not throwing my life away, I just rescued Melanie.
VICTOR: Who will proceed to fall madly in love with you, which will prompt you to declare your undying love for her, and then she’ll break your heart. And so the vicious cycle continues.
PHILIP: Look, I told you before I went that I took this mission for Maggie.
VICTOR: If that’s what you have to tell yourself.
PHILIP: It’s true.
VICTOR: I’m sure that you think it is. But I know you, Philip, and for whatever reason, you seem to be incapable of escaping the charms of certain women who are no good for you.
PHILIP: I think you’re confusing me with Brady. And I’d appreciate it if you stopped comparing the two of us. Now, how are things with Titan?
VICTOR: Your two co-CEOs should be back any minute, ask them.
PHILIP: Oh, okay...wait, co-CEOs?
VICTOR: Yes. I have been suitably impressed with the way Jody and Vic have been performing while you’ve been away, so I offered them the position of co-CEO, and they accepted.

Lol at Philip saying Victor has him co fused with Brady. So true and doubly funny since Brady had himself confused with Lexie.

I'm glad Ciara and Trix talked. Hopefully they will be able to resolve this later.

Uh oh. I don't think that Victor appointing Jody and Vic as co-CEO's is going to sit well. I wonder if he's hoping that by distracting Philip with this, it will get his mind off of these "certain women who are no good for him".

I'm glad that Ciara and Trix are going to continue their conversation.

Victor used to adore Melanie. I'm surprised he wouldn't be trying to push Philip and Melanie together. I loved Philip's comments about Victor's "greeting" and the comparisons to Brady. Great dialogue.

KIRIAKIS MANSION
PHILIP: Co-CEOs.
VICTOR: That’s what I said, yes.
PHLIP: This...this is revenge, isn’t it? That’s it. This is revenge for me going to rescue Melanie.
VICTOR: Not at all.
PHILIP: You know, I expect this kind of meddling from Mom, but not from you. Though, honestly, I should have known better.
VICTOR: Give it a rest, Philip, not everything is about you or Melanie. Jody and Vic have proven that they are more than capable as leaders in your absence. I am not taking Titan away from you. I told you when I retired that the company was yours, and it is. Now that you’re back, you’re welcome to do with it whatever you see fit. If you wish to demote the boys and send them back to running Titan’s Dubai office, that’s your choice. However, I suggest that you at least try working with them first.
PHILIP: And that’s the other thing, since when do you call them Jody and Vic.
VICTOR: That’s what they wish to be called.
PHILIP: Yeah. But when I left, you were still calling them Joseph and Victor II.
VICTOR: We came to an understanding.

TITAN - FLASHBACK
Jody and Vic were setting up their office at Titan. Victor walked in.
JODY: Uncle.
VIC: Good to see you, man!
VICTOR: I’d like a word with you two.
Victor shut the door behind him.
JODY: What’s going on?
VICTOR: I just want to make sure we’re clear on a few things. I love this company. I built it from the ground up. While I know that you two have done a great job running the Dubai office, this is an entirely different ballgame. With Philip currently away on business, you two are in charge of the entire company. So I will be watching the both of you like a hawk.
VIC: You’ve got nothing to worry about, Big V.
Jody looked at Vic.
JODY: Could you please be a little more respectful?
Jody turned back to Victor.
JODY: Sorry about my brother, Uncle. However, what he says is true. We will not let you down.
VICTOR: I hope you don’t. However, I feel that we need to set some rules. First of all, calling me Big V was cure when you were children, it is not so now. I would prefer that you call me either Victor or Uncle.
VIC: You got it.
VICTOR: And in return, I shall remember to use the names that you prefer. I believe they are Jody and Vic, is that correct?
JODY: Yes, Uncle.
VICTOR: All right, then. Secondly, you report directly to me. Anything that happens with the company, I want to know about it. Third, that phone number Philip gave you is for a trusted associate who is good at cleaning up messes. Use it only when you find yourself in a situation beyond your control.
VIC: Don’t you mean if?
VICTOR: No. Now, do we understand each other.
JODY: Yes, Uncle.
VIC: We understand each other.

KIRIAKIS MANSION
VICTOR: Since then, the boys have done exceptionally well. And anyway, you wanted them here, or else why would you invite them?
PHILIP: I thought it would be for a few weeks while I was gone.
VICTOR: Well, things have changed since then. As I said, what you do with the company is your choice. You will figure out what to do about it.

hmm... I wonder what messes Victor has in mind that the boys will need cleaned up.

Philip should have known better than to trust Victor, even if Victor is his father. And I have no doubt this is in part payback for him rescuing Melanie.
