I agree with Anna. This was too easy. I hope Tarrington is 100% on the up and up and isn't planning on re-kidnapping everyone.

I also hope Roman and Abe really have the Jan situation under control.

Chapter 431

HORTON CENTER
Shawn-D knocked on the door. A moment later, Eric opened it.
SHAWN-D: She here?
ERIC: She is. She's had a bit of a scare a little while ago, but she's doing better now. Come in.
Shawn-D walked in. Jade was holding Emmy. She looked up.
JADE: Mr. Brady.
SHAWN-D: Jade, I have some news for you.
JADE: What's going on? It's her, isn't it? She's back. I know she is. She called me a bit ago.
SHAWN-D: I know. Well, I know that she's back in town, anyway. That's actually why I came over here. I have some news for you.
JADE: Oh god. What did she do now?

TARRINGTON'S SUPERJET
A short time later, John, Steve, Billie, Shane, Anna and Tony were on Chief Tarrington's personal SuperJet, along with the man himself.
ANNA: So, you said you were going to give us an explanation.
TARRINGTON: Indeed I did, and shall. It all started when Agent Black here called Special Agent Donovan and informed him of the search and rescue mission you had him go on. Donovan reported back to me about the trip and I was, to say the least, intrigued. The ISA had heard rumblings of activity on Melaswen and were searching for the perfect opportunity to check things out, which it turned out, was when your call came in. We had no idea until we got there that we would take down three of the ISA's most wanted. Naturally, I sent Donovan out right away to meet you, along with plenty of backup.
ANNA: But all I saw was Shane, Billie, John and Steve.
TARRINGTON: That's all you were meant to, at the time. The ISA, after all, is supposed to be a semi-secret multinational agency. The nice thing about the new SuperJets is that they are installed with a cloaking device. When the device was activated, nobody would be able to see them. Nobody but someone who knew of their existance and presence already. Once all was arranged, I boarded this ship and followed you to Melaswen. We made sure to remain out of sight until the signal was given.
TONY: This signal that you mentioned, I assume it was John leaving the room?
TARRINGTON: Correct, Mr. DiMera. All four of the wonderful agents you see before you were fitted with wires. We could hear everything that was going on. When Thomas Banks beckoned Agent Black to join him, and once we were sure he was distracted enough, that was our signal to strike. As for myself, to be honest, I wanted one last adventure. I am aware that I'm advancing in years, and my retirement comes in just a month, so I wanted to go out one last time. And, doing so with my right hand man seemed the right way to bow out.
Tarrington nodded at Shane.
TONY: You mean you're being promoted, Shane?
SHANE: I am. Next month, I become the ISA's new director.
Tony and Shane shook hands.
TONY: Congratulations! That's wonderful news!
SHANE: Thank you.
TARRINGTON: All right, hold tight, everyone. We're going to be landing in Salem very shortly.

Whew. Glad Tarrington is on the up and up. I like the cloaking technology. Glad to see the ISA is using modern technology.

Shawn! Just say Jan has been arrested. Don't cause extra fear.

Chapter 432

HORTON CENTER
SHAWN-D: Let me finish. So, you know that Jan's back in town. Or, rather, she was attempting to come back in town. The Salem P.D. has been tracking her movements since she last left Salem. Earlier this evening, we got a phone call telling us that she was heading through Chicago. We were, thankfully, able to cut her off just as she entered the Salem town limits. To make a longer story short, Jan won't be bothering you anymore. She's been arrested, and will likely be going away for a very long time.
JADE: Really? You actually caught her?
SHAWN-D: We actually did. So, you are no longer in protective custody here. You're free to come and go as you please.
JADE: Oh my gosh! Thank you so much!
SHAWN-D: You're welcome. Glad we were able to help. There is just one other thing.
JADE: What? What is it?
SHAWN-D: Unless Jan pleads guilty, which is very unlikely given how delusional she can be at the best of times, there may be a trial. Of course, you'll be protected during the trial, if there even is one. And after that, you'll never have to see Jan Spears again.
JADE: Well, if that's what's gonna happen, then at least it'll be over with. Thank you again, so much, Mr. Brady.
SHAWN-D: No problem. Well, it has been a long night, and I'm sure you'll want to relax now that this ordeal is over. So, unless there's anything else I can do...
JADE: I don't think there is. Thank you, though.
ERIC: Thanks, Shawn.
Shawn and Eric shook hands.
SHAWN-D: Well, have a good night.
Shawn-D left. Jade sighed with relief, then kissed Emmy on the forehead and put her in her crib.
JADE: Thank goodness that's over!
ERIC: Yes. I am very glad to hear the news, as I'm sure you are, as well.
Jade nodded.
JADE: Thank you so much for everything these last few months, Eric. I'm just not sure what I'm gonna do, now.
ERIC: What do you mean?
JADE: Well, you heard what Shawn said. I'm not in protective custody anymore. But, I can't go home, since my dad kicked me out, I don't have money to stay at the Salem Inn, and Joey's made it more than clear that he doesn't want anything to do with me.
ERIC: I'm hearing a lot of places that you can't stay. But, Jade, I have to ask, what's stopping you from staying here?
JADE: Wait, what?
ERIC: Well, you know that the Horton Center was set up to help people who are struggling, mostly youth, but adults, as well. So, if you wish, you and Emmy are still more than welcome to stay here. It'll give you a place to stay and some food until you figure things out.
JADE: Really? Thanks, Eric!
ERIC: You're welcome. Now, I'm gonna head home, unless you need anything else.
JADE: I think I'm good for tonight.
ERIC: Good. Have a nice night, Jade.
JADE: You, too.
Eric smiled and walked out the door.

I hope Jan doesn't get out on bail.

I'm glad Jade will be staying at the Horton Center. Hopefully she will continue to change in a positive way.

Chapter 433

SALEM HIGH
The teens were sitting down to lunch in the cafeteria.
JOEY: My dad finally got home last night.
CLAIRE: So did my grandpa. Thank goodness they saved Tony, and got rid of those creeps.
JOEY: You hear that one of those creepy kids of Orpheus was on the island?
CIARA: Which one?
CLAIRE: The one with the lyre tattoos on his wrists and neck.
CHASE: The one who kidnapped you, Joey?
Joey nodded.
TRIX: Sorry, I'm not quite following. Who's Orpheus and what's this about his kids?
CIARA: It's a long story. The short version is that Orpheus used to work with Claire's grandpa and Joey's dad a long time ago, went rogue, tried to kill Claire's grandma and Joey's parents, then got killed himself. Last year, a couple months before you arrived, his kids came to Salem seeking revenge and kidnapped Joey and this other girl, Jade Michaels.
JOEY: Except my parents and Claire's grandpa found out what they were up to. Jade and I stalled for time until they got there and took them down. Erebus, that's Orpheus' son, was supposed to be dead, but must have faked his death.
TRIX: Wow! That sounds crazy!
CHASE: It was!
CLAIRE: Well, thankfully, he's been caught. So, moving on to a happier topic, there's only one week of school left.
CIARA: Yep. And you know what that means at the end of next week?
TRIX: What does it mean?
CLAIRE: Well, there's graduation the weekend after, but what Ciara is specifically talking about is what comes the night before.
Ciara and Claire smiled at each other.
CIARA & CLAIRE: Last Blast 2018!

DIMERA MANSION
Tony and Anna opened the door and walked in.
ANNA: Welcome home.
TONY: It's so good to be back!
ANNA: I'm glad to have you back.
Tony and Anna kissed. Chad walked into the room.
CHAD: What the...
Tony and Anna looked up.
TONY: Chad-
CHAD: What are you doing here?
TONY: I beg your pardon?
CHAD: You heard me! Get out of here! Anna, what are you doing with him?
ANNA: Chad, what are you talking about?
Tony sighed.
TONY: I think I know. You believe that I'm André, is that it?
CHAD: You're dman right I do. And you know how I know? Because Tony is already here.
TONY: Well, in a sense he is, because I am Tony.
CHAD: Yeah, right.
ANNA: He's telling the truth, Chad.
CHAD: He may have you fooled, but he hasn't fooled me. Now, you'd better get out of here before the real Tony shows up!
Meanwhile, André pushed a large silver box into a hole in the wall. It looked as though he was putting an oversized drawer back in its place. He shook his head, chuckling slightly to himself, then turned to face Rex and Melanie, who were watching.
ANDRE: Elvis' sacrifice, though unfortunate, was necessary. He did not hold with our ideals. He believed that his ways were better than ours. Therefore, it was necessary for him to be shown his error. Does anyone have any comments?
Neither Melanie nor Rex said anything.
ANDRE: Excellent.
André, Rex and Melanie left the room.
MELANIE: Father?
André turned, smiling.
ANDRE: Yes, my dear?
MELANIE: Where is our sister?
ANDRE: As we discussed, darling, I sent Cassie out on a special assignment. Surely you recall this.
MELANIE: No, I know that.
REX: She means the other one who was in the pod, Theresa.
André sighed. It seems that Theresa's programming did not go exactly to plan. She, much like Brady, has escaped.

Oooh I wonder if Theresa will help Brady realize who he really is.

What a mess this is going to be, with Tony being mistaken for the imposter when Andre has been impersonating him for months!

I also can't wait for Last Blast 2018.
