S.S. BO BRADY
KAYLA: No, Joey's not here right now. He's with his friends.
JADE: Oh. That's okay. I wanted to talk to you, too.
KAYLA: What about?
JADE: Do you, um...can we go somewhere a bit more private?
STEVE: I gotta check with Alexander and see if we're past the danger zone for the triangle. I'll be back in a bit, sweetness.
Steve and Kayla kissed, then Steve left.
JADE: Sorry if I interrupted something. Who is that guy?
KAYLA: That is my husband, Steve.
JADE: Oh, cool. I should have guessed. I mean, he looks a lot like Joey.
KAYLA: Yes, my son does have a lot of his father in him. In more ways than one. Anyway, what can I do for you, Jade?
JADE: Well...you're a nurse, right?
KAYLA: I'm a doctor, actually.
JADE: Right, doctor. Sorry. So, do you, um, know where I can find some Dramamine or something?
KAYLA: I may. Why? Are you experiencing motion sickness?
JADE: Not exactly motion sickness, no. Actually, it's morning sickness.
KAYLA: Morning sickness?
JADE: Yep, I'm pregnant. Got it checked out and everything.
KAYLA: I see. Well, I can prescribe you some pre-natals that will help with the morning sickness. You should also be on some kind of multivitamin, as that will help, also.
JADE: Cool. Thanks.
KAYLA: Why don't we take a walk down to the medical bay? I'd like to check on the baby, if that's all right.
JADE: Sure.
KAYLA: Who did your check up last time?
JADE: Dr. Horton.
KAYLA: Good. Dr. Horton is an excellent doctor, from what little time I've gotten to work with her.
JADE: She's really nice.
Kayla and Jade walked out of the room. Steve was coming from the other direction.
STEVE: Well, the good news is, we're almost out of the triangle. Once we are, we'll be one step closer to being home. Our real home.
KAYLA: That's great!
STEVE: It sure is, sweetness.
JADE: I forgot to introduce myself last time. I'm Jade. I'm a close friend of Joey's.
STEVE: Steve Johnson, Joey's father.
Jade and Steve shook hands.
KAYLA: We're just taking a walk to the medical bay.
STEVE: Everything okay?
JADE: Everything's great. I'm pregnant.
STEVE: I see. Well, congrats.
JADE: Thanks. You too.
Steve laughed nervously.
STEVE: What do you mean?
JADE: I was actually just about to tell Dr. Brady when you walked up. Now I can tell you both.
KAYLA: Tell us what?
JADE: Joey's my baby's father. Congrats, you guys are gonna be grandparents.

What a great cliffhanger! Great to see Steve and Kayla being close and loving with each other too.

Definitely need a paternity test for this one. Wonder how Steve and Kayla will react. I can't believe that Jade is being so nonchalant about this. I was scared to death to tell my family much less the dad's family when we found out that I was pregnant.

I'm getting nervous about them being so close to being out of the Triangle. This trip seems to be going a little to smoothly to let their guard down yet.

S.S. BO BRADY
STEVE: What did you jsut say? No, I know what you said. But...what?
JADE: Yeah. Joey's my baby's father.
KAYLA: You're sure about this?
JADE: Yeah. I had Dr. Horton run a paternity test and everything. You guys are gonna be grandparents.
Steve and Kayla subtely looked at each other.
JADE: We're gonna be a family! This is gonna be so awesome!
Jade hugged both Steve and Kayla.
CLAIRE: So...you heard that bit?
Chase nodded.
CHASE: Yeah. I heard a lot of what you said that night.
CLAIRE: Gotcha.
CHASE: Hey.
He tapped Claire's hand.
CHASE: I feel the same way that you do.
CLAIRE: Really?
CHASE: Really.
Chase took Claire's hand.
CHASE: Look, I meant what I said that night at the Slicer. The night that everything went crazy. I really like you, Claire.
CLAIRE: I like you, too.
Claire and Chase smiled at each other.
CLAIRE: So...what is this? Are we official?
CHASE: I think so. If you want to be, that is.
CLAIRE: Oh, I do.
Claire leaned in and kissed Chase. They smiled at each other.
CHASE: Before we do anything else, there's one thing I have to take care of.
CLAIRE: What is it?
CHASE: You'll see. Just, give me a few minutes.
Meanwhile, Steve, Kayla and Jade were still in the hallway.
KAYLA: Uh, Jade, before we celebrate, let's get the baby checked out, okay?
JADE: Sure.
KAYLA: Okay. Come on. Steve, I'll...
STEVE: Yeah, I gotta find our son and have a little talk with him. I'll catch up with you later, sweetness.
Steve and Kayla kissed, then Kayla led Jade to the ship's medical bay. Shawn-D and Belle were unpacking their things in their room.
BELLE: It's so great being back on the water.
SHAWN-D: I know. It reminds me of our voyages on the Fancy Face IV.
BELLE: You know, as great as this is, it'll be nice to get back home. Our real home.
SHAWN-D: Definitely.
Shawn-D and Belle kissed. There was a knock at the door. Shawn-D went over and opened it.
SHAWN-D: Chase. What's up, dude.
CHASE: Hi, Mr. Brady. Not much. I hope I'm not interrupting something.
Belle walked up.
BELLE: Not exactly.
SHAWN-D: And, I've told you, you can just call me Shawn.
CHASE: I know. But, for this occasion, I felt Mr. Brady would be more appropriate. Hi, Mrs. Brady.
BELLE: Hi, Chase. Good to see you.
CHASE: You too.
SHAWN-D: Come on in, man.
CHASE: Thanks.
Chase rolled his wheelchair into the room.
CHASE: I'm glad I get the chance to talk to both of you.
SHAWN-D: Yeah?
CHASE: Yeah. So, I've gotten to know Claire a lot over the last few months. And, I think she's amazing.
BELLE: She is.
CHASE: Which is why I'm here. I'd like to date Claire.

Chase and Claire are so sweet. I don't think Chase actually needs Shawn's permission to date Claire but it's an interesting gesture.

I don't trust Jade's claim of getting a paternity test. I hope Kayla gives the baby another one.
