Maxine assures her she'll get her strength back. Maxine leaves. Maggie closes her eyes. Vivian comes in and sets a vase of flowers on the table. Maggie opens her eye. Vivian says, "Hello dear." Maggie sighs and reaches for the nurse call button but Vivian takes it away saying they don't want to be disturbed while they finish their talk. She sits on the side of the bed. Maggie asks why she isn't in jail. Vivian says she is a victim just like Maggie. Maggie asks how she got away with trying to kill her? Vivian starts to answer but Maggie cuts her off. She tells Vivian to take her flowers and get out. Vivian says she's not after Maggie, she's after Victor. Maggie is amused that Vivian believes she can get Victor back. Vivian tells her no, she's going to destroy him, and the others. Maggie pushes Vivian off the bed and yells at her to get out. Vivian thought Maggie would be relieved that she's not after her anymore. Maggie throws the vase at her and says as soon as she stronger she's going to tell the police everything that happened, every detail. Vivian informs her that Victor may have kept her in the sarcophagus but Brady is the one who put her in there. Maggie doesn't believe her. Vivian says his drinking is out of control, and if Maggie tells the police, so will she, and then everyone will go to jail while she claims temporary insanity caused by the toxic fumes from being kept in the sarcophagus by Victor and his "little crypt club." Maggie is confused. Vivian tells Maggie the list of who knew about her captivity. Maggie refuses to believe her. Vivian says Maggie will find out the truth soon enough.
2010-12-03 Maggie, Victor, VivianAt the hospital, Maggie tells Vivian she knows she'll make up anything. She tells her to get out. Victor comes in and angrily marches up to Vivian, asking if she has a death wish. Vivian plays innocent. Maggie asks Victor if she's telling the truth about everyone being involved. She hopes he tells her that none of it is true. Victor doesn't want to talk about it with Vivian there. Maggie asks him to tell her that Vivian is lying. He says they all felt it was the only way to keep Maggie safe. Maggie is crushed that they all did it in her name. She tells him to leave, she never wants to see him again. Vivian smirks.
Later, Maggie, crying, pushes her food tray off of the table just as Melanie and Philip come in. Melanie hugs her and asks what's wrong. Maggie says she was clumsy. She's glad she's out of quarantine. Melanie looks at her chart and asks if her relapse was because she stopped taking her medicine. Maggie tells her it wasn't intentional. She asks her to tell Maxine she needs something for pain. Philip offers but Maggie says it's better if Melanie goes. After Melanie leaves, Maggie tells Philip she knows he knew about Vivian yet did nothing. He says he was protecting his family, the people he loves, including her. She says he sounds just like his father. She tells him she's terrified that he, Brady and Victor don't understand that what they did was wrong. Philip asks what about what Vivian did to her and Melanie. Maggie decides she won't argue morality with a Kiriakis anymore. She's urging him to tell Melanie the truth just as Melanie comes back in.
Meanwhile, Vivian is on the pier when Victor comes up behine and tell not to stand so close to the edge, it's too tempting. She asks where did it go wrong. He says he should have let Bo kill her. She starts about Maggie interfering since the beginning, and hovering at their wedding. Victor says it's best if she never mentions Maggie. Vivian says she just thought since Maggie is out of his life forever... Victor angrily walks toward her, remarking how Vivian imagines they could have a loving relationship. Vivian walks backward. Victor grabs her wrist and says it couldn't possibly happen because he'll spend the rest of his life making her pay for what she's done. He let's go of her and she falls back, screaming. He catches her, saying he can't have her fall in the river after they'd worked so hard to clean it up. She pulls free and walks away from him. He tells her five people knew she was in that coffin and all five thought the world was better off with Vivian out of it. Vivian says she'll get revenge on all of them. She storms off. Victor makes a phone call, ordering someone to meet him at the pier right away. Kate shows up. She notes he's very worried about Vivian. He says because of them, Vivian has plenty of time to fine-tune her plan and now she won't fail. Victor thinks Vivian will wait to attack until after the dust settles and everyone's life is back to normal. He wants to put a guard on Kate. She says Stefano would ask questions. He says then tell Stefano so he can put his own guard on her. She says it's a bad time. He asks if they've had a spat. Kate refused to talk about Stefano with him. He says they can't wait, they have to take Vivian out, he won't let anything happen to his family, including her. Stefano walks around the corner.
Vivian and Gus meet at Brady Pub. He asks if they are going to discuss a new plan for Mrs. Horton. Vivian says she's moved on. Gus is relieved. Vivian says she has a devilishly clever plan to get even with Victor and company. After she's told him the plan, he says it's brilliant but doubts if anyone, even she, could pull it off. Vivian remains positive.
2010-12-06 Maggie, Victor, VivianJennifer brings Maggie home and tries to help her but Maggie tells her she's fine. Jennifer says she is not fine, the doctor ordered Maggie to take it easy. She offers to make her something to eat. Maggie says no and tells Jennifer to go do her Christmas shopping. Jennifer will not leave her alone. Maggie says Melanie and Philip will be home in half an hour. Jennifer agrees to go but she will call later.
At Brady Pub, Gus is worried about Vivian's revenge plan. She says her rage drives her and if he won't help her, she'll do it on her own.
Alone, Maggie picks up the picture of Mickey and her. She asks Mickey to give her strength. Brady comes to the door. He says he came by to see if she's all right but clearly she's not. Maggie says she's getting better. She thanks him for helping to save her. He says he owes her more, he doesn't know where he'd be if not for her. He's worried about her and thinks maybe she came home too soon. Maggie explains that Vivian told her what he did. He asks if she explained
why he did it, that Vivian was going to put
her in there? She sort of understands but not leaving her there for weeks, he should have called the police. He says Vivian would have turned it around onto him and Maggie knows she would. She tells Brady he's not above the law. Brady knows that but he did it for everybody, and his conscience bothered him, but everything turned out fine, if he had to do it again he would. Maggie says he sounds just like his grandfather. He says if she's trying to insult him... She says not trying, she
is insulting him, so maybe he will see the wrong in what he did and never do something so horrible again. Did he think she would approve of this? He reminds her that Vivian wanted to hurt her, the "sweetest, kindest person on earth!" Maggie says he can compliment her but she will still be furious with him, and disappointed, as she's sure his mother would be, had he given that any thought? He says yes, more than she knows, and he realized that maybe he is a little bit like Victor, maybe a lot, and maybe that's not such a bad thing.
He says maybe that's not so bad. He leaves.
At the pier, Stefano approaches Victor and Kate, demanding they tell him what's going on. They tell him they were discussing family. Stefano tells Kate if she's confiding in Victor it means she's hiding something from him. Victor tells Stefano to calm down, they were talking about their son and whether or not Philip and Melanie should move into the mansion. Vivian comes along and listens from behind the bushes. Stefano scoffs that he should trust anything Victor says. Victor calls him a fool. He's going home. Stefano says not until they tell him what's going on. Victor tells him he'll only say this once...there is nothing going on between them, and he needs to accept the fact that he and Kate
will get together to discuss their son. Kate reminds Stefano that he threw her out of his house. Stefano says she disappoints him. He leaves. Kate tells Victor that Stefano will not let this go. Victor says Stefano can't read her mind, he's just guessing. She says they cannot let Stefano find out about the Vivian debacle.
Vivian sneaks away and goes to see Stefano. He feigns joy at her being there. She tells him she's there to give him the answers he seeks. She tells him what happened to her. Stefano tells her he doesn't care. She says he will, and tells him Kate was involved, Kate and Victor were at the pier discussing how to keep Stefano from finding out. Stefano asks how she knows this. Kate tells him that Kate found out she was in the coffin but just walked away. Stafano says good for Kate. Vivian says he's been made a fool of. Stefano asks why should he believe her. Vivian says he doesn't have to. She has one more tidbit and then she'll leave, Kate is keeping a little secret from him but confided in Victor.
Victor comes to Maggie's. She tells him to leave. He tells her he loves her. She bristles. He asks if she heard him. She closes the door and walks away, crying.
Brady is getting drunk at the pier. Vivian comes up and taunts him. He threatens her then leaves. She calls Gus and asks if he's going to help her. When he confirms, she says they have to work quickly.
2010-12-08 Victor, VivianAt the mansion, Victor and Brady are having drinks. Brady wonders if they should put drops of arsenic in them to build up a tolerance, like the powerful men in the Middle Ages did. Victor says he'll pass, and Vivian wouldn't use arsenic, it works too fast and would deprive her the pleasure of them suffering. He tells Brady he will take care of Vivian once and for all. Brady makes jokes about ways to get rid of her. Victor says this isn't a laughing matter. Brady noticed he'd increased security on the grounds. Victor wants to set up a meeting with him and Philip and Nicole so they can make a plan of attack. Brady noticed he didn't include Kate, he asks if they can depend on her. Brady says he tried to warn Kate but he doean't think she took him seriously. Victor says he tried too but she seemed distracted, he'll try agiain. Brady is going to leave but Victor says they need to talk about Nicole. Brady says she'll do what he tells her. Victor asks if he's sure, Nicole takes care herself first. Brady tells him not to worry about Nicole.
Outside Brady Pub, Gus hands Vivian an envelope with the information she requested. She asks if anything stood out. He's certain she will find everything she needs. Vivian reads the material and is delighted that there's enough for torture and destruction.
At DiMera mansion, out in the garden, Vivian finds Stefano sitting on a bench and asks why he doesn't have a coat. Stefano asks what she wants. She says he doesn't look well. Stefano says he's fine but would be better if she would leave. She has one little question, did Kate leave him or did he throw her out? Stefano calmly says he's sick of this and sick of her. He tells her to play her games somewhere else. He walks away. Vivian says how rude. She calls Gus and fills him in.
At the pier, Victor finds Kate and tells her they need to watch out for Vivian. Kate doesn't care. Victor asks if she's upset about Stefano. She tells him that Vivian told Stefano all about the sarcophagus, which he didn't care about, except for Kate and Victor being part of it and Kate not letting Stefano know. She says she's left him. Victor asks her to move into his house. She asks if he's joking. He explains about them being in danger of Vivian getting revenge, Kate would be protected at his home. She notes that Stefano will find out. Victor admits making Stefano crazy is an added bonus. They laugh. She says he's as bad as Stefano. Victor agrees but the difference is he wouldn't throw her to the wolves. Kate says okay, she'll do it.
2010-12-10 VictorAt the mansion, Victor pounds on the desk and curses the computer. Philip comes in and asks what Vivian has done now. Victor says she sent him the bill for the sarcophagus but that's nothing, she's moving her stock around and making bundles, and she's set up an extradiong-proof exit strategy. He's sure she's up to something. He's glad Philip and Melanie moved in.
Later, at Brady Pub. Victor comes up to Daniel watching a woman across the room. He warns him that the woman is trouble, she works at Titan and if she wasn't so good at her job he'd fire her. Daniel asks why. Victor says she's broken up several marriages. He asks if Daniel has seen Philip. Daniel says he was there but left. He asks if the woman works with Philip. Victor says she reports directly to him and they're quite a team.
2010-12-13 VictorRafe comes to the mansion and tells Victor that he's signing on to the Salem P.D. as a detective but first he wants to offer Victor a deal. Victor says some people might question his devotion to the rule of law. Rafe says the deal will help him do a better job, it's about their common enemy, E.J. Dimera. Victor says they've patched things up. Rafe says he's not wired. Victor asks if he's supposed to believe him. Rafe says what he says next will prove it, he wants E.J. out of his wife's life permanently. Victor asks what did Rafe think he would say about the proposal. Rafe says Victor would "What's in it for me?" Victor chuckles and says there's something about him that he likes, despite him being involved with Sami Brady. Rafe asks about the deal, anything Victor gets on DiMera he feeds to him. Victor asks, "What's in it for me?" Rafe says when he puts E.J. in prison he promises that Victor will get to deliver the news to Stefano. Victor chuckles and says Rafe knows how to negotiate.
2010-12-15 Maggie, VictorAt Daniel's, Maggie is babysitting Parker when Victor stops by to see Parker. She tells him Daniel and Chloe are out on a date. He didn't know Maggie would be there. Maggie says she wasn't accusing him of planning this. He says she always thinks he has ulterior motives. She says he usually does. Victor says he'll go. Maggie tells him he's welcome to stay and visit with Parker. Maggie watches fondly as Victor goes to Parker and picks him up. Victor tells Parker he's the guy who will teach him all about Money Markets and Statistical Forecasting. Maggie stifles chuckling. Later, Maggie is wiping Victor's jacket where Parker had spit-up. Suddenly she moves away and says he should probably go. He sees the baptism gown and reminisces about holding Daniel during his baptism and promising to look out for him always. Maggie says he has. Victor says some accuse him of being overprotective, going too far for the people he loves. Maggie understands him and looks away. He tells her that keeping Vivian locked up was protecting his family...and her, he wishes Maggie would believe him. Maggie softens and says she believes him but it was still wrong. He understands. She says appreciates how much he looks out for people he loves, and she knows Philip and Melanie are safe living with him. Victor says it will be like old times in the house with him, Philip... He hesitates and glances at Maggie then says...Kate. Maggie is surprised and doesn't understand since Kate is married. Victor tells her Kate and Stefano split. She says she's not surprised. Victor asks if Kate moving in bothers her. She says she does not have a problem with him living with Kate and is surprised he doesn't, her being a homicidal psychopath. Victor quips that he's a non-judgmental kind of guy. She reminds him that he was leaving. He thanks her for the lovely chat and says it was "truly enlightening." After he leaves, Maggie says she doesn't care. On the other side of the door, Victor smiles and says she definitely cares.
Later, Maggie lets Philip in. He's looking for Daniel. She sees his face is bruised and asks what happened. He says nothing to worry about, he came by to have Daniel give him a second opinion. He asks a favor from her, not to tell Melanie, it would only upset her. Maggie says okay. He thanks her and leaves. Maggie looks suspicious.
2010-12-16 MaggieAt Daniel's, Maggie has Parker in the stroller and takes him out into the hall. She's surprised to see Philip is there with Chloe. She asks if everything is okay. Philip says yes, they're just talking. Maggie says okay and heads for the elevater with the stroller. She tells Parker they're going to the park to have a good time. Later, when Maggie comes back to into the apartment, she's surprised that Philip is still there. She tells Chloe she thought a ride in the stroller would help Parker to sleep but he wanted no part of the cold air. Chloe comforts Parker and tells him everything will be all right no matter what. She looks at Philip. Maggie pretends not to notice. Chloe holds Parker and he finally calms down. Maggie offers to put in bed. Chloe thanks her. Philip has just left when Maggie returns. She apologizes for taking him out into the cold. Chloe says it's no problem and thanks her for watching him. She asks if Maggie can stay a little bit longer. Maggie says of course. She asks if everything os all right. Chloe says yes, she just has a quick errand. She rushes out. Maggie looks concerned.
2010-12-21 Maggie, Victor, VivianGus gives another envelope of papers to Vivian. She says this will be a Christmas Victor will never forget.
At the mansion, Victor is on the phone in the living room trying to find out why a Swiss company is buying Titan stock right before the closing bell. Maggie can be heard in the foyer telling Henderson she's just dropping something off and then will go. She comes into the living room carrying a box. She sees Victor, stops, then sets the box down. Victor cheerily asks if it's a Christmas present for him. She coolly says it's just a few things Melanie and Philip left at her house. He asks if she has a Christmas list then offers to take her to Paris. She says he's amusing and reminds him she hasn't forgiven him and can't even stand to be in the same room with him. She marches toward the door but stops when he asks if that's why she personally drove all the way across town to deliver a box of mismatched socks, a hair drier, and box of healthy cereal, just to
not be in the same room with him. She says she wanted to see Melanie and Philip. He doesn't believe her. She tells him to "stuff it." Victor is amusedly surprised. Maggie removes her coat and stands by the fire, warming her hands. Victor gets a drink and sits down and says she doesn't have much Christmas spirit. She says she also doesn't have amnesia, which is the only way she would treat him like a human being instead of a...He says "monster." He feigns sadness that he's lost his best friend. Maggie is frustrated that he's only concerned about that and not about burying Vivian alive. Kate walks into the foyer, hears Maggie, and keeps out of sight while listening. Victor says he hopes she doesn't blame herself. Maggie wonders why would she. He tells her when she abandoned him he lost his moral compass...things could have been a lot different. Kate comes in as if she's been looking for Victor and kisses his cheek. She pretends to be surprised to see Maggie. Maggie gathers her things as Kate prattles on to Victor about traveling to France. Maggie tries to stay cool as she asks Victor to give her best to Brady and have Melanie call her. She loudly wishes them a Merry Christmas as she leaves. Victor tells Kate she laid that on with a trowel. Kate chuckles and tells Victor he'll never get Maggie by looking like a naughty puppy so she was just helping by making Maggie think she needs to save him from being used by Kate. Philip comes and says Victor is getting tech-savvy. Victor asks what he means. Philip says sending a text instead of yelling up the stairs. Victor says he didn't text him. Kate notes she just got one from him too. Victor says he didn't send it.
Vivian says sending fake text messages reminds her of her wedding day, such a naive bride with hopes and plans, by Christmas she had to blow them all to hell.
Victor confirms with Brady that he got a text from him telling to come ASAP. Victor has a feeling of déja vu. Nicole comes in. Victor says she got a text, right? Victor wonders what Vivian is up to. Philip leaves a message for Melanie to not come home without calling him first. Victor figures Melanie is safe. He says they need to get out the house. Vivian comes in and says it's too late for that. She tells them she has a lawyer and a small army of mercenaries outside. She's here to have a little chat. Victor tells Brady to throw her out. Vivian says that's no way to talk to your boss. Victor questions "boss." Vivian gives him proof that she owns Titan lock, stock, and barrel. She says she's now the majority stockholder, explaining that while Victor was chasing Maggie Horton and the boys had their extracurricular activities, no one was watching the store. Victor says he won't let her get away with this. Vivian says he has no choice.
Maggie goes over to Chloe's to see how she's doing. Chloe doesn't understand. Maggie says Philip told her that he and Daniel had a fight. Chloe says they worked it out. Maggie asks what the fight was about. Chloe doesn't know and figures it was a macho thing. She's sure Philip started it. She says, "You know how those Kiriakis men are." Maggie says, "Don't I ever."
2010-12-22 Victor, VivianVivian gloats that she's had the last laugh. Brady says he put her in the box so make him pay and leave the others out of it. Vivian laughs and says she can't wait to boss all of them around. Victor asks if she's pleased with herself. Later, Brady, Philip and Victor are each on their phones. Melanie comes in asking Philip why she needed to call before coming home. She sees Vivian, who says Philip wanted to protect Melanie from her, the new CEO of Titan Industries. Melanie laughs but stops when she sees Philip nodding. Kate says she doesn't work for Titan so, Vivian is not her boss. Nicole says her too. Kate offers to throw Vivian out of the house. Nicole asks if she can help. Vivian says that's no way for down-and-out house guests to talk. She tells everyone they are now in Chez Vivian. Philip tells her she may own Titan but the house isn't owned by the corporation. Vivian gives him an "Oh really?" look as Victor says, "Well..." Vivian explains that Victor hates the tax man so he had the house declared as Titan's Headquarters. Victor leaves the room. Nicole explains that Brady had kicked her out of the house and the only reason she's there now is because of the text, which she'd hoped meant that Victor was dying. She starts to leave but Vivian tells her not before she tells her the special revenge she has planned for her. She looks at Kate and says, "And you." Kate doesn't care about Vivian's plans, which never work out well. Victor returns and tells her the lawyers are contesting every stock transaction. Vivian says that's time-consuming. Philip and Melanie say they're leaving. Victor would rather they don't, he doesn't want everyone in Salem laughing at them because Vivian threw them out of their own house. Brady asks if he want all of them to live here with her? Nicole says if not it will look like Vivian's claim is legitimate. Victor tells Vivian it looks like they are all going to be roomies. Philip tells Victor he can't expect them to live in the same house with Vivian. Melanie says yes he can, she hates bullies and she hates running away
AND, she goes to Vivian and tells her she loves the fact that they will hate living with her but has she thought about how she will feel living with them? Does she know what it will be like living with people who love each other and have friends and regular lives? It's going to make her feel even more like a dried-up, over-the-hill, useless old crow. Vivian scoffs. Victor tells Philip she just won a permanent place in his heart. Nicole says it's been fun but still has nothing to do with her. Vivian tells her not to go, and that's an order. Vivian yells for Henderson. He comes in and asks, "Madame bellowed?" She tells him to bring rum-spiked eggnog for everyone. Henderson checks with Victor, who nods. He leaves and Vivian starts talking about things they can do later. Kate says she died without knowing it and woke up in hell. Victor says she's never going to shut up. Ever, ever, ever, ever. Vivian tells them all eye on her. She starts singing 12 Days of Christmas. They all join her. Later, Henderson offers eggnog to Melanie who refuses. She gets up and leaves, saying it makes her sick. Philip hurries after her. Brady says he's getting out of there too. Nicole says the party has been fun, she leaves. Vivian says she's going to get some air and then retire so she'll have plenty of energy tomorrow. Kate and Victor are the only one left. He thinks Vivian left rather abruptly. Kate says the next they put Vivian in a coffin she needs to be dead first. Victor says great minds do think alike.
2010-12-23 MaggieMaggie hears the end of Brady leaving a message for Nicole. She asks him why he's calling her, they broke up and can't stand to be in the same room. She asks him what's goin on? He tells her they still want nothing to do with each other, the call was about Vivian. He tells her about the takeover. Maggie asks where is he living, does he need a place to hide? He says they are all still living there with Vivian right down the hall. She's claiming the house too so they have to live there while the court figures it out. Maggie is worried about Melanie, Vivian tried to kill her. He assures her that Vivian is not after Melanie. Maggie says Vivian is a lunatic, no one is safe, not him, not Victor. Brady smiles warmly and says after everything that happened, she still cares about Victor. Maggie insists he's mistaken. She's concerned about all of them being threatened by a completely insane woman. Brady assures her Vivian does not want to kill any of them, she wants them to suffer, this is just a big power play for her. Maggie is still worried because Vivian is a psychopath. Brady agrees.
2010-12-27 Maggie, Victor, VivianChristmas at the Horton house.
Julie finds Maggie in the foyer alone and sees she's sad. She tells Maggie she should to get out and meet people and suggests she consider dating Victor. Maggie insists there's nothing between her and Victor. Julie says okay, she was wrong. Maggie says no, in fact he infuriates her. And it's been less than a year since Mickey died. She doesn't want people pushing her into romance. Julie is sorry she said anything. Maggie says she tries to be strong around family and friends, but in private she grieves and still has a rough time. Maggie cries. Julie hugs her and says she understands. No one can replace Mickey, but Mickey would want her to have joy in her life, he wouldn't want her to be alone. Maggie thinks about that and guesses she's right. She hugs Julie and thanks her.
Meanwhile at Kiriakis mansion, Victor is miserable and can't find a big enough glass for his drink. Vivian wonders where everyone is. He tells her no one wants to celebrate with her.
Victor gets a call from Julie asking for a favor. Maggie walks over to Julie when she hears who she's calling. Julie asks Victor to keep her informed about the progress of his search for Bo and Hope. He agrees and asks her for a favor. He asks her to wish Maggie a Merry Christmas. Julie covers the phone and asks Maggie if she'd like to speak with him. Maggie sees Mickey's picture behind Julie, backs away and tells her no.
Brady and Kate have joined Victor and Vivian. Brady pours a drink. Victor thinks he's had enough. Brady says never with Vivian around. Kate hopes Vivian is enjoying her revenge, too bad she has no one to share it with. Vivian tells her to have a good sleep in her cold, empty bed.
2010-12-28 Maggie, VictorAt the mansion, Philip tells Victor good morning. Victor asks about Vivian. Philip says she was snoring when walked past her room. Victor says he wants to talk with Philip without interruptions. He asks if Philip is aware of the responsibilities of being a godfather. Philip says he thinks so. Victor tells him he needs to be ready, if the need arises, to step in and be the child's father. Philip thinks he's being overly serious. Victor says he thought that too when he was asked to be Daniel's godfather, then his parent had the accident and there was nobody else standing up for Daniel so he did, and he's glad. Philip says he hadn't thought about that. He tells Victor he hopes to be as good a godfather as he is to Daniel and someday as good a father as he is to him. Maggie comes into the room behind Victor. He turns around and they look at each other. He asks what bring her there. She says Chez Rouge is catering the christening so she wants to make sure it's set up properly. Philip says he has to go. He tells Maggie it's good to see her. She says her house is quiet with him and Melanie, they're room is still available. Philip says they miss her too. He leaves. Maggie asks how his Christmas was. He says fine, he's wanted to talk to her, but... She says she was very busy. She asks if Vivian served her famous fruitcake. He asks how did she know about Vivian. She tells him Brady. She asks if they all are really going to live in the same house with a woman they tried to bury alive. Victor says if she didn't know him she couldn't ask a question like that, does she see what he brings to her life? She says he's impossible. He teases that all of the Hortons sit around the old hearth, whatever they do for entertain, doesn't she ever think it's dull? Maggie says he underestimates them, Hope is a Horton and his son just broke her out of prison. Victor says that's the Kiriakis. She gets serious and can't believe she's asking but can he do anything? Victor says he's on it. She also can't believe she is saying that makes her feel better. He asks if she want to question his methods? She says not if it keeps them safe. Victor says there may be some hope for her yet. He chuckles and she smiles while shaking her head. Later, they arrive at the church for the christening.
2010-12-29 Maggie, VictorParker's Christening
Various conversations go on while everyone waits for Father Matt to return.
Victor gets a phone call from Rafe about the search for Bo and Hope.
When Victor comes back from the phone call, Maggie asks if he has news. He tells her Rafe was just hassling him, they have no idea where Bo and Hope are. Maggie doesn't know if that is good or bad news. Victor knows they're smart enough to get away, but...Maggie says he doesn't believe they'd leave Ciara behind. He nods. Maggie moves to sit next to Victor and leans close then whispers that waiting for the christening must be bugging him, that he probably wishes he was driving the getaway car. He smiles. Victor grumbles about having to behave in church. Maggie straightens up, looks around and says she's scared too.
Father Matt arrives and they have the christening. When done, Philip and Melanie open the doors just as Kayla tells Caroline she has to tell Daniel he's not the father of Parker.
2010-12-30 Maggie, VictorAt the church, the truth comes out about Parker's paternity. Maggie takes Parker and leaves. Caroline admits to changing the results. Daniel attacks Philip. Everyone finds out who knew and how much.
At the hospital, Maggie asks if it's true that Caroline had a stroke. He says apparently. She asks if what she said is true. Victor says it is, Philip is the father. Maggie is shocked and asks why would Caroline get involved in this. He tells her for some reason Caroline changed the test results. Maggie can't understand why. Victor says so another Kiriakis wouldn't get to ruin another baby boy's life. He says he's loved her for as long as he can remember and she does this out of hatred for him. He's not sure he wants her to survive this.
2010-12-31 Maggie, VictorRepeat variation of yesterday's final scene. When Maggie wonders why Caroline would change the test results, Victor says it was her decision to let a Kiriakis child come into this world without a single Kiriakis knowing anything about it. Maggie doesn't think it was about Victor, she thinks Caroline was protecting Chloe and Daniel. Victor asks why, she hardly knows them. This was about depriving Philip of his child. Caroline played God with his family and now their lives are blown to hell. Maggie says Caroline didn't destroy anyone's life. She made a bad decision. The problem started when Chloe and Philip conceived a child. Victor says she's right, it wasn't Caroline. Maggie is relieved but it's short-lived. He says the three of them are responsible: Caroline, Chloe and Carly Manning.
