2011-03-02 Maggie
At Maggie’s, Jennifer and Hope are there to watch Parker. Maggie hurries off.

At Brady Pub,Maggie talks with Nathan about Melanie, the miscarriage and their relationship. Maggie thinks Melanie should be given space and time to grieve. Nathan thinks she’s wrong. He says listened to her before, and everyone else, and he stayed away from Melanie, now look at what Philip did to her life. Maggie nods. He says Melanie and he should have been together, she’d have been safe, and now this may be their last chance and he’s not going to blow it. Maggie nods again. Nathan kisses her cheek and leaves.

2011-03-04 Victor
At the mansion, Victor talks with Philip about Melanie, the miscarriage and their relationship. Victor moves on to insisting that Philip keep Parker away from Chloe. Later, Brady brings Chloe to the house. Victor says Chloe is not welcome. Philip wants Chloe to live at the house or he'll take Parker and leave. Victor concedes. Philip and Chloe go up to see Parker. Victor tells Brady "you, dear boy, are dead to me."

2011-03-09 Maggie, Victor
Maggie is at Horton house with Jennifer. They discuss Jack not communicating with the family while he's blogging about his travels. They talk about what it takes to make a marriage work.

Meanwhile at Kiriakis mansion, Brady is yelling on the phone. Victor comes in and criticizes his business methods. Their argument gets intense. Maggie interrupts and Brady leaves for a phone call. Maggie scolds Victor. He says Brady started it. Maggie tells him he's being childish. She tells him he needs to listen to Brady. Victor tells her to butt out. Maggie has a fit. Victor says it's none of her business. She says it is when it's someone she loves.

2011-03-10 Maggie, Victor
Victor asks Maggie "Someone you love?" Maggie looks confused then says he knows how much she cares about Brady and Philip. She turns and walks away from him. Victor reminds her she said "love." She turns on him and reminds him he told her to butt out. He says she's evading his question. She says she can't remember it. He recaps their conversation then says he’ll make it simpler for her. He asks her who is it that she loves. Angrily, she says she told him...Brady, Philip and little Parker. He asks then why was she yelling at him? Furious, she says she won't talk about her feelings with someone who told her to butt out. He says he’ll make it easy for her, all she has to say is a number. He asks her where he rates on a scale from zero to ten. Maggie is about to explode. She says he's insane and walks away from him again. Victor smiles and moves up behind her. He softly tells her she's a ten. Maggie says they just had their first argument. He says they argue all the time. She tells him no, she points out his flaws and he laughs at her. This argument has made her realize how much she cares about his family. Then, reluctantly, she says him too. Victor is happy and excited about her admission but Maggie says it doesn't change anything. The man she saw yelling at Brady is the man she used to hate. He asks why can't he be angry about what Brady did? Maggie says he deserved what Brady did. She asks him if she's still a ten. He says he respects people who aren’t afraid of him. Maggie says unless they’re related or married to him. Victor tells her to try it, she may find out she’s wrong. Maggie says no thanks! He asks what she’s afraid of. She says she’s afraid he’ll break her heart...or she’ll break his, she’s not going to let that happen. He says at least she acknowledged that he has a heart. She says she never said he didn’t, he ignores his heart is what she has a problem with. Maggie says she has to leave. She turns but Victor catches her arm. He says his heart is speaking right now and he hears it loud and clear. He asks if she wants to know what it is. She says, “What is it.” He says, “This,” then pulls her to him and kisses her. He lets her go and walks toward the door. Maggie stumbles, spins around and asks what he's doing. He reminds her she was leaving. Maggie grabs her things and hurries to catch up with him. He opens the door and tells her to be ready to have a serious conversation the next time she comes over. She hurries out the door. Victor closes it and chuckles. Outside, Maggie is too dazed to go anywhere. She's startled when Philip and Chloe come up. Philip goes inside and Chloe starts talking but sees how distracted Maggie is. She asks Maggie if she's okay. Maggie says she doesn’t know how to answer that. Inside, Victor is deep in thought and doesn't hear Philip talking until he asks if something is wrong. Victor doesn’t answer him.

2011-03-14 Maggie
At the hospital, Maggie comes out of the elevator as Nathan is yelling at a nurse about nobody telling him that Melanie was released. Maggie stops him. He apologizes. Maggie tells him she can stay with Melanie if he thinks she needs help. He tells Maggie that Melanie doesn't want a relationship with him. Maggie tells him Melanie needs time to recover.

2011-03-21 Maggie, Vivian
Maggie comes into Java Cafe. Vivian sees her and says hello. Maggie says she doesn't need any coffee and starts to leave. Vivian begs her to stay. Maggie tells her to be quick. Vivian congratulates her on her strategy for winning Victor. Maggie tells her there was never any competition. Vivian says there was to her but now she's out of their lives and they can be together. Vivian points out that Victor got her through her grief over Mickey. Maggie looks away. Shakily, Vivian tells her she loved Victor and wanted them to be happy but all he wanted was Maggie. He wants to be the man he is with her. Maggie says he doesn't want that all of the time. Vivian asks if sitting at home with her memories of Mickey is enough for her? Vivian leaves her thinking about it. Later at Horton house, Maggie is leaving a note for Jennifer. Nathan wanders in. She asks if he wants to talk about what's bothering him. He tells her he's thinking of leaving town. He's worried about her being alone. She tells him she'll be fine. He tells her he should go get his things in order. He starts to go but she grabs him and hugs him tight. She cries as he heads up the stairs.

2011-03-22 Maggie, Victor
At Horton house, Maggie is sitting on the couch, staring at the phone. She gets up and dials. Victor answers with "Maggie, it's nice to hear from you," but she doesn't speak. He asks if this is Maggie calling. She finally says yes. He asks what she wants and she says "Nothing" then hangs up. They each say "That went well." Maggie paces around the room and Victor calls back. She answers and he says they must have been cut off. She admits she hung up. He's amused and thinks she's conflicted. She tells him to not be a smart aleck. He rewinds and repeats that it's nice to hear from her. She looks at the photo of her and Mickey and whispers, “Are you sure about this?” She invites him to Chez Rouge for lunch. He happily accepts. She says she has someone she'd like him to meet. Victor sighs, frustrated. At Chez Rouge, Maggie pours a glass of wine while Victor rages about her trying to fix him up with someone. She asks if he ever shuts up, then tells him she wants him to meet her. She realized he didn't just rescue her from the sarcophagus. He'd been rescuing her ever since Mickey died. He makes her feel alive. Mickey would be very upset if she walked away from that so she's not going to. Victor asks if she’s saying… She says she’s tried to fend him off but she’s giving up. He just looks at her. She looks a little embarrassed and asks if he’s going to say something. He says he can’t. She's surprised to see him being emotional. He laughs and tells her he doesn't mind because he's happy. Then he says a nice person wouldn’t needle him. She promises not to tell anyone that he's not as tough as he seems. He laughs and says she enjoys torturing him. She laughs, saying she does. She’s happy too. He offers a toast to her, the woman of his dreams. She suggests they make the toast to their future together.

2011-03-30 Maggie, Victor
Brady yells into the phone demanding to know why a merger didn't go through. Victor comes up and says he caused it. Victor tells Brady he wasn't handling the merger correctly. Brady says Victor is upset he's not running things and if he was then he'd have done the same thing Brady did. Victor says he wouldn't because he's changed. Brady says nobody would believe that. Maggie comes in and says she would. Brady is amused that Victor is pretending to be a great guy for Maggie. He takes off. Victor says Brady thinks he’is King Lear. Maggie smiles and moves toward him while saying he knows he's not. Victor agrees because Lear didn't have a cute, red-headed girlfriend. She asks if he's worried about Brady. He says Brady isn't all wrong that Victor is doing this to impress her. She doesn't believe that. She pats his chest and says she thinks he's always had a conscience in there. He jokes he'd been mistaking it for heartburn. He guesses he's not used to losing money. She asks how much. He nonchalantly says "46, 47 mil." Maggie coughs. She says that’s a lot of money, even for him. He says living up to her moral code could get to be pretty expensive. He hopes she'll stick around when he's in the poor house, righteous but broke. She says it would be her pleasure. They tap their coffee cups together. Maggie giggles. Victor asks if she's proud of him. She says very. He tells her his world is usually give and get, but being good is something for nothing. She thinks she knows what he’s getting at and agrees, for 47 million he should get something. She whispers that she feels very close to him, then she kisses him. She asks if that was worth all that money. He says yes and kisses her.

2011-04-06 Maggie, Victor
Victor tells Brady that donating money in Isabella's name will not make him feel better about stealing Titan. Isabella would not be pleased about what Brady's done. He tells Brady he'll forgive him if he makes Titan a family business again. Meanwhile, Maggie asks Melanie to talk to Brady about making up with Victor.

Maggie gets a call from Victor. He sounds upset and tells her he needs to see her right away. He hangs up without saying goodbye. At the mansion, she rushes into the living room, telling Victor she came as fas as she could. He smiles and says excellent. She's confused that Victor is in a good mood. He says he was just frustrated with Brady when he called her. She sighs and asks what is going on. He tells her he's had it with Titan, his family, and worrying all the time. He's going to go to Paris. She says that's a bit extreme, leaving town alone out of frustration. He says he hoped she would go with him. Maggie is flustered, thinking he means permanently. He says he's just asking her to have dinner with him in Paris. She tells him he doesn't have to dazzle her to woo her. She can cook a French dinner for him there at his home. He teases her, saying in a French accent, "Who's being dazzling now?" They chuckle.

2011-04-15 Maggie
Maggie chats with Will about his Mom and Dad. Later, she talks with Taylor. She's worried about Taylor being alone.

2011-04-18 Victor
Victor overhears Stefano talking to Lexie about Ciara and Theo running away. He says he'll call his people to help look for them. Bo comes up and tells them to stay out of it. He doesn't want it known that the kids are their grandchildren.

2011-04-20 Victor
Victor comes upon Kate at the pier. He says she has that look that she knows something. She tells him to go home and find out. At the mansion, he listens while Chloe is begging Philip to not take Parker away. He comes in and tells her if she wants to still see Parker then she'll do what Philip says. Philip tells him he's taking Parker to Chicago. Philip leaves. Victor orders Chloe to leave the house.

2011-04-22 Maggie, Victor
Maggie comes to Victor's and asks if he knows anything new about Ciara and Theo. He says no. He tells her the last time he saw Ciara she gave him a big hug and told him she loves him. Maggie hugs him and says they'll find them soon. He tells her it's nice she came over. She says she's glad they have each other to get through this. He asks if they do. She's confused then realizes what he means but doesn't know how to answer him. Dissappointed, he says that's obvious. She says he knows she enjoys his company. He says what he knows is they've had dinner, gone to a movie, they had a home-cooked meal at her house, she's here now to comfort him, what he doesn't know is if they're, and he hate's the word, dating. Maggie says she hates it too. She says she's very conflicted about them. He understands and doesn't mean to pressure her, but he thinks Mickey wouldn't want her to be lonely, he'd want her to be with someone who cherishes her, wants the best for her, appreciates the gem of a person she is. She says he's very sweet to say that. He asks if she agrees that Mickey would want that. Maggie supposes he would. Victor, again dissapointed, says she supposes. Maggie swallows hard and says she knows. He says when she said before that she's glad they have each other she made it soulnd like, at the time, that they are a couple. He asks if they are. She asks why they have to label their relationship. She's not ready to call them a couple even though they've been through so much together. He says he doesn't know how he would have gotten through it without her. She says he doesn't have to think about that. He says he doesn't. She smiles, nods her head, and says she gets it now. He asks what. She says the need to define what they are. She realizes despite her own conflict about being with someone again, she wants to be, and she wants that person to be him. She smiles and says, "So," then inhales deeply. He smiles and asks, "So?". She giggles and says yes, they are a couple. Victor smiles and kisses her. He says she's the world to him. She says he is to her too. She explains to him how much she struggled with feeling guilty about moving on, thinking that Mickey would be jealous or upset, but she thought about if she'd died first, she'd want Mickey to find someone and not be alone. Victor says Mickey was a very lucky man. Maggie says she was lucky too. She says she's lucky now to have gotten close to him, he does have a soft heart, and he's funny, and charming, and he makes her feel beautiful and young and cherished. He says she's all of that, more than she knows. Maggie caresses his cheek as Kate stomps into the room. Maggie gets up to leave. Kate sighs impatiently at their tender goodbyes.

After Maggie is gone, Kate teases Victor. They have a toast to Chloe being out of their lives. Victor declares any friend of Chloe's is an enemy of his. Meanwhile at the pier, Maggie finds Chloe grieving. She insists Chloe come home with her. Chloe worries about Victor but Maggie tells her he'll have to understand.

2011-04-25 Maggie, Victor
Victor approaches Chloe at Brady Pub and asks her where he can send her belongings. Maggie comes up and tells him to send them to her house. Victor thinks she's joking. Chloe apologizes for causing trouble. Victor insults Chloe and Maggie angrily tells him to stop. She asks Chloe to let them talk alone. She tells Victor that Chloe needs someone to help her. He says Chloe is no good and needs to leave town. Maggie says Chloe made mistakes like everyone else, and he's insulting Chloe as if he's a saint, like he never slept with anyone he shouldn't have, or married anyone he shouldn't have. He says it's not about him but Maggie says it is because he's passing judgement on Chloe but he's highly fallible himself. Victor says he doesn't like seeing her being taken for a sucker. Maggie says she doesn't like seeing him being a jerk! Victor doesn't understand why Maggie is letting Chloe live in her house. Maggie says she knows about Kate recording Chloe threatening to run away with Parker, and then she played it for Philip. Victor says that's right. Maggie says Chloe was drunk, and she's worried about Chloe because she's resorting to alcohol to cope. Victor notes the trouble Chloe caused with Brady, Daniel and Philip, he doesn't care what happens to Chloe. He asks Maggie why she cares. Maggie says because she is a drunk too, a "recovering alcoholic" but a drunk and always will be a drunk. Chloe approaches them as Maggie explains that Chloe is alone, depressed, and tried to kill herself. Victor looks at Chloe as he tells Maggie he wishes seh had succeeded. Maggie turns around as Chloe runs out. She turns back to Victor and says how dare he punish Chloe instead of face his pain about Philip leaving town. He says he doesn't want to see Chloe ruin her life. Maggie asks how would she do that. He glares at her and says if she takes Chloe in, she won't see him anymore. Maggie is stunned then recovers and tells him she'll survive. He watches with shock and regret as she walks out.

Maggie finds Chloe at the pier. Chloe feels bad about coming between her and Victor. Maggie tells her if that's what happened then there wasn't really anything for her to come between. Chloe is still sorry. Maggie tells her to not be, she's always known Victor has another side and it's good for her to have seen it.

At the mansion, Brady is defending Chloe to Melanie. Melanie says Chloe wouldn't have slept with Philip if she didn't mean to hurt Daniel. Victor comes in and agrees with her. Brady snarks that they were missing his opinion. Victor says not opinion, fact. Brady gets a call and leaves. Victor asks how she's doing and says if she wants this Troy guy to disappear, he can arrange it. She laughs and says it's a tempting offer but she like knowing he'll be in a cell. He chuckles and says he remembers why he liked her being his daughter-in-law. He apologizes that Philip hurt her. He says he kicked Chloe out, but now Maggie has taken her in, causing a rift between him and her. He tells Melanie she's always welcome at his home, he likes having her in his life. She hugs him as Brady comes back in. Melanie says she has to go out but will be back. Brady tells Victor he wants to talk to him, he thanks Victor for being kind to Melanie. Victor asks Brady if he knows anything new about Ciara. Brady says he doesn't and suggests Victor ask Bo. Victor says he doesn't want to bother Bo. Brady asks if Bo already told him to stay out of it. They argue. Victor remembers when they used to be a family. Brady asks when, when Victor was running everything? Victor wonders if they are still a family.

At the pier, Chloe says she hates Victor but Maggie doesn't and she doesn't want to be responsible for screwing up another person's life. Maggie says if her relationship with Victor gets screwed up it will not be because of Chloe. Maggie changes the subject and explains to Chloe that she won't coddle her. She says losing Parker was Chloe's wake-up call to change the way she lives, she needs to stop drinking, get a job, and stop depending on the kindness of strangers. Her phone rings and she steps away. When she comes back, Melanie is telling Chloe that she will keep after her until she stops hurting the people she loves. Maggie says not if she has anything to do with it.

2011-04-26 Maggie, Victor
Brady tells Victor they are still family. Victor notes he doesn't sound too thrilled and Brady reminds him that he's the only one still there, at least until Victor really, really ticks him off. Victor says Philip is gone, Maggie is mad at him, he has no choice but to grovel. Brady says he could never do that so maybe start by treating like an adult. Victor says he wants him to stay and asks for a warning if he starts to tick Brady off. Brady says Victor would ignore it. Victor asks if he and Maggie are comparing notes? He wishes he had someone on his side. Brady tells him Melanie is. Victor says he knew he liked that girl. Brady says he does too.

Meanwhile at the pier, Maggie comes back from her phone call and tells Melanie to stop badgering Chloe. She asks Chloe to let her talk with Melanie alone. Chloe tells Melanie she is sorry for everything but knows that will never be enough for her. She leaves. Melanie is hurt that Maggie is taking Chloe's side. Maggie says she's not taking sides, she's worried about Melanie too. Melanie says she can take care of herself. Maggie isn't worried about that, she's worried that she's acting just like Victor. Melanie says she's tired of pretending to be a good person. Maggie says she is a good person and she has a good future but Chloe doesn't right now and Maggie wants to help her find it. Melanie says she still needs Maggie too but she'll be too busy helping Chloe. Maggie says she'll always, always be there for her, she has to understand that. Melanie says she doesn't understand anything. She walks away. Maggie looks heartbroken.

Later, at the mansion, Melanie tells Brady that Maggie thinks she's a bad person. Brady says she does not. Melanie tells him Maggie said she's like Victor. Victor is about to come in but stops and listens when he hears them. Melanie says Maggie has chosen Chloe over her. Brady says she has not, she just feel Chloe needs her more than Melanie does right now. Victor comes in and apologizes for messing things up with her and Maggie, she's mad at him, not her. Melanie says she knows but she wants her to be nice to Chloe and she can't. He tells her Maggie is dead wrong about Chloe and too stubborn to admit it. Brady shakes his head. Later, alone, Brady tells Melanie he thinks Maggie only wants Melanie to back off Chloe, not forgive her.

Outside Brady Pub, Victor tells Maggie he'd been looking for her so he could thank her. He says he and Brady are getting along again and it's because of her. She doesn't see how that has to do with her. Victor says anytime Brady does something mature or level-headed it's because of her. She says if Brady can forgive him then why can't he forgive Chloe. He says that's different. She asks why. He says because he says it is. Maggie looks astonished that he actually said that. He says he knows he can't get her to harden her heart, and he isn't sure he wants to. He urges her to be careful, he's not being vindictive, people get hurt around her and he's not sure if she even means it. Maggie knows she does not. He tells her again to be careful, when Chloe is needy she's dangerous. Maggie says she's tougher than he knows. He laughs and says she doesn't have to tell him she's tough, he learned that this morning and has bruises to prove it. She softens and tells him she's still praying for Ciara and Theo. He says, "Good. He probably listens to you a lot more than he does to me." He walks away. Maggie nods her head.

You know - even if the show never again gives me a story I can invest in I will always be grateful for this one. I look at it as my reward for sticking (for the most part) with Days during all the years Suzanne and John were relegated to the back burner.

I'm so happy that I wasn't feeling good the day I discovered their story. I didn't get to see this rollercoaster part of it live and I'm very grateful to the folks who were able to share so I could catch up and share it as well.

2011-05-05 Maggie, Victor
Victor comes to Maggie's house and asks if he can come in. She sighs and lets him in. He tells her he hates that they're arguing. She says he knows how to fix it. He tells her in this case he's right, she's the one who will have back down. Chloe comes up to the door and sees Victor so she steps out of sight, listening to their conversation. Victor tries to convince Maggie that Chloe can't be trusted, she's already come between them. He asks Maggie to please send Chloe away so they can go back to what they had. Maggie tells him Chloe can stay for however long she likes. He reminds her that Chloe made Lucas nearly drink himself to death. Maggie says Chloe is not to blame, Lucas chose to drink, and yes, Chloe betrayed him but he forgave her. She says Chloe is a human being and needs help. He says Chloe just needs a place to regroup until she decides who she'll ruin next. Maggi says that's unfair, just like him this a black and white issure between them. He asks if Chloe is staying forever. Maggie says no, just until she can make it on her own. Victor says then she'll never leave. Maggie clenches her jaw and taps her foot. She tells Victor if he can't accept that Chloe is staying there then they can't be friends. Chloe slips away. Victor says he doesn't like ultimatums. Maggie cuts him off, saying she doesn't either. Maggie says Chloe has made bad decisions and hurt a lot of people, people they both love, but she's hurt herself too. Victor asks why she cares about Chloe. She tells him about when she was drinking, she would have destroyed everything if Alice hadn't helped her, Crying, Maggie says Alice held her together until she could make it on her own, so she can't not help Chloe, she can't, and she won't. He wishes he could let go and see it like Maggie does but he can't, and he won't. Maggie asks if he could at least try. He says the anger is justified and keeps him sane, he'll never forget the pain Chloe has caused his family and he'll never forget, never forgive. Maggie's voice shakes as she says she can't be with a man who can't have a little compassion in his heart for someone whose life is broken. Victor suppresses a pained look and says he is sorry too. Maggie looks broken. She nods and goes to the door, opens it and waits for Victor. Reluctantly, Victor walks to the door, hesitates slightly as he passes her. Maggie looks down and he walks out and stopping outside the door until Maggie closes it, then he walks away. Maggie leans against the door and tries not to cry.

2011-05-11 Maggie, Victor
Maggie is baking cookies and she remembers kissing Victor after saying they are a couple. Meanwhile, Victor is at home having the same memory. He vows to find a way to make things right. He goes into the living room where Henderson is cleaning while watching a soap opera, a scene with a man and woman arguing and the man asks why they can't meet halfway. Henderson apologizes and says he'll turn it off. Victor tells him to leave it on, the very bad actor makes a very good point. Maggie is still watching the show and wonders why can't she and Victor meet halfway. She scoffs and says because Victor always has to be right or he wants to boss her around, and that's not gonna happen. The woman says he's right, she's being silly. Maggie relates and says no she's not. Victor says yes she is being silly. The woman says she'd love to meet halfway but... The man says she can't, or won't. He tells her he'll give her the reason of a lifetime why she must. Victor grimaces.

Later, Chloe comes home and tells Maggie that she's moving out. Maggie says that's not good news and blames Victor. Chloe says it's part of it, she hates that she is causing problems for her and Victor, but she needs to do this. Maggie says it's too soon, and the problems she and Victor are having are not just about Chloe. Chloe says she has to move on and hopes Maggie can understand. Maggie says she does. Chloe, crying, tells Maggie sometimes she's been more like family than her own and she's grateful. She tells Maggie she's really happy that Maggie found Victor, no one should be alone, but he doesn't begin to deserve her. She goes to pack. Maggie sighs and shakes her head.

Meanwhile, Victor has gone for a walk by the river. Brady comes along, figures correctly that he's there because of Maggie, and asks what did he do this time. Victor says, "Something idiotic." Brady guesses correctly that Victor gave Maggie an ultimatum about Chloe, he tells him that Chloe is moving out. Victor thinks Brady is paying her way but Brady says she refused his offer. Brady gets a call and steps away. Victor figures Chloe would never move out without help. He's sure that Maggie is pushing her out and he thinks he knows why.

Victor goes to Maggie's. He hopes it's not too late for a visit. She says no and invites him in. He suppresses his delight and Maggie asks what is so amusing. He says nothing, it's quite serious. He pretends to beg forgiveness, that he was wrong, but he lays it on too thick, finishing by saying now they can be together again. Maggie sees right through him. He asks why she's not saying anything. With a knowing smile, she says she's waiting for the punchline. Victor continues his charade until Maggie asks if Brady told him that Chloe moved out. He groans that he's busted. Maggie says she doesn't like being played, especially by him. He says he should have remembered she's too smart for that. She says he should have. He says their problem is solved, she kicked Chloe out, she finally saw the light. Maggie says she certainly did. He looks worried. He says they should celebrate by going out to a late supper, he suggests Paris. She says he's in a good mood. He says they can talk about their future. She tells him before he starts warming up the jet, she'd like to clear up a little misunderstanding. He braces and asks what. She says she did not throw Chloe out, Chloe left voluntarily. Victor says if Chloe hadn't made that decision then she'd still be living there. Maggie nods. He says Brady implied that but he assumed...Maggie finishes, that she'd seen the light, the light being his way. Victor says she's about to tell him he was wrong. He braces for it. Maggie doesn't blame him, she was hoping that he'd changed for her too. She guesses they both need to accept that that's never going to happen. He says if she can't change and he can't change, what does it mean for them. She says there are some things about him that she wouldn't change for the world. Hopeful, he tells her to go with that for a while. He smiles. She loves how he loves his family, he's not gushy or sentimental, he drives them crazy, they know he would walk into a burning building for them. She likes that a lot. She also likes that he endowed a new children's wing at the hospital, anonymously. He says it can't be too anonymous if she knows. She says she has spies everywhere. She likes that when they were getting to know each other better, he brought fun into her life, she needed that. He says yes she did. She says knowing all of that makes it more painful to see the way he turns hard and cold when dealing with someone he decided is his enemy, like poor, messed-up Chloe. Victor bristles. Maggie says there it is. She sighs deeply and says it's too hard to be with him, she's sorry.

2011-05-12 Maggie, Victor
Maggie tells Victor he made her feel appreciated. He says he used the word "treasured." She smiles and says that too. He tells her she's loved too. She tries to hold her smile, she nods her head. He asks if a cold man could make her feel all that. She says no. He asks what's the problem. She says he threatened that she wouldn't see him anymore when she told him Chloe was moving in. He says he just wanted to win, it didn't mean anything. She says it did to her, that unless she lived her life the way he wanted her to he would play dirty, she won't live her life the way he says to, and she won't laugh when he turns hard and cold at her just so he can win. She tells him they just weren't meant to be. He says he's sorry if that's true. He goes to the door, hesitates, then leaves. Heartbroken, Maggie says, "So am I. Oh! So am I."

Later, Maggie calls Melissa to say she misses her and that talking to her makes her feel better. She struggles to not cry as she looks at the door.

At the mansion, Victor is bellowing into the phone. When he hangs up, Brady reminds him Titan doesn't belong to him. Victor says they forgave each other, talked about family, they hugged! Brady says that didn't change things. Victor calls him a snake-in-the-grass. Brady agrees and asks who does that remind him off. He leaves. Victor says he's right.

The next day, Victor goes to Maggie's to talk about the "Chloe situation." He tells her he's punishing Chloe for his own suffering over Philip leaving town and he did the same thing to Maggie. He doesn't want that. She asks him what does he want. His voice breaks as he tells her he wants them to be together. He knows for that to happen he needs to change and be worthy of her. Maggie wants to believe he means it. He tells her she is a gift to him. He thinks of her the first thing every day, he wants to see her, see her smile, her beautiful, heartwarming smile. He'd be a fool to give that up. Maggie stands up and looks around. Victor stands and, crying, she hugs him. He holds her tight and sighs.

Later, Maggie gets a call from work and Victor waits. When she hangs up, he says he should go. Maggie is confused. He struggles to explain that he wants so much to be the man that she deserves, and she's the most important thing that's ever happened to him. He pauses and she tells him to continue. He says talk is cheap. Maggie doesn't understand. He says he was sincere in what he said before, and maybe overly confident. Maggie braces and asks, "In what way?" He says their relationship is too important to him not to be totally honest, but his desire to change is not the same as his abilitiy to change. Maggie fights tears and asks if he's afraid that he won't be able to change. He says yes, exactly. Trying not to cry, she asks when they'll see each other again. Victor says it's a small town, they'll run into each other. Maggie says sure. He tells her he's sorrier than she'll ever know. He leaves. Maggie walks over to the table by the door, sits and breaks down crying.

2011-05-18 Maggie, Victor
At Maggie's, Hope and Ciara are helping Maggie pack up Mickey's clothes for donation. Maggie asks Ciara to go upstairs and get two bags. She tells Hope how she got through the past year, through the grief that was always there, making herself try to move on, and she thought she had, but... Hope asks if she means finding love again. Maggie says she's realized that will never happen, Mickey was the love of her life, loving someone else would be disloyal to him, so she's going to focus on what she still has, great friends and beautiful memories, that's all she needs. Hope tells her love can come around again. Maggie says not for her. Hope says she can't give up. Maggie says if she's talking about Victor, she's not the one that did! Stunned, Hope asks, "What? Victor?" Maggie sighs. Hope clarifies, asking, "Kiriakis?" Maggie nods yes. Maggie thought Hope knew about her and Victor. Hope asks if it was serious. Maggie says she thought it was, or at least might be at some point, but no, it was mostly her giving him a hard time, teasing him mercilessly about his curmudgeonliness. Hope laughs. Maggie says it was that other Victor, the one behind the iron mask. Hope says she's seen that other Victor. Maggie tells her that Victor started showing up a couple of months ago, first to help with the Foundation in Mickey's honor, then just to talk, a cup of coffee, tell a couple of jokes. She says it was comforting and she thought something might be possible, but it's over. Hope asks why, does she think Victor has given up on her? Maggie says he told her flat out, her standards of conduct are just too high. Hope chuckles. Maggie says they argued about that and that was the end. Ciara comes back and asks Maggie if she'll go with them to Grandpa Victor's. Maggie says she can't but be sure to give him a big hug. Hope tells Maggie maybe some other time. Maggie says she'll see.

Meanwhile at the hospital, Victor asks Melanie if she and Maggie are back to normal now that Chloe moved out. Melanie didn't know and guesses Maggie figured it wasn't important enough to tell her. Victor awkwardly says now she knows. Later, Brady says he has a proposition for him. Victor says he's all out of corporations for him to steal. Brady says some of the old-timers miss hearing Victor's voice on the conference calls. Victor chuckles. Brady says he decided to return a sizable chunk of Titan stock back to him if he will give him a big piece of important information. Victor says he'll listen but that's a long way from saying yes. Brady says it's about the drug operation that Victor owned that Arianna had been investigating, he wants to know who he sold it to. Victor asks why would he tell him that. Brady asks if he wants to be part of Titan again or not. Victor asks if this is about avenging Arianna. Brady says he just needs his answer, he will keep Victor's name out of it. Victor asks if in return he'll get back controlling interest of Titan. Brady says no, just a sizable chunk. Victor asks for his word. Brady gives it. Victor says it was EJ DiMera.

Later, Melanie comes over and asks Maggie when she was planning to tell her that Chloe moved out. Melanie says she hasn't come by because she didn't want to run into Chloe, but Chloe moved out and obviously Maggie is still mad at her or she'd have told her. Maggie says she was never mad, she hadn't told her because it only just happened. Melanie thought she was disappointed in her for not forgiving Chloe. Maggie hugs her and cries as she tells her she loves her. Melanie says she's missed seeing her and she's glad Victor encouraged her to come over. Maggie smiles.

When Victor gets home he's greeted by Ciara. He has a gift for her, a doll, and he says he wants to know when she thinks of a name for her. Ciara says she'll name her Maggie. Hope explains they just came from seeing her and she didn't seem like her usual, chipper self. Victor says that's too bad. She was hoping Maggie would come there with them but it was obvious she didn't want to. Victor is sure it was.

2011-05-19 Maggie, Victor
Maggie asks Melanie if Victor sent her over there. Melanie says he did, he said she's always right, and he knows how much Maggie misses her, and he said that she needed to come over here and do what needed to be done. Maggie wonders why he even cares. Melanie says because he loves her. Maggie says it's not true. Melanie asks how she knows that. Maggie says because he told her. Melanie asks if he was like, she imitates Victor, "Maggie, just so you know, I don't love you." Maggie explains the last conversation she had with him and that it means now he's out of her life...for good. She is grateful to him for understanding how important Melanie is to her. Melanie says only somebody who's head over heels in love would be able to know Maggie that well. Maggie laughs. Melanie says he loves her. Melanie remembers she has to meet a friend, but she'll cancel. Maggie says go, she's fine, she lifted her spirits. Melanie says Victor went to bat for her, now she needs to step up to the plate and admit she loves him back.

At home, Victor is on the phone about Titan business. Justin comes in and asks if Brady knows he's giving orders. Victor doesn't care. He tells him he has control of various branches of Titan. Justin is glad but wonders why. Victor fills him in. Justin is glad that he and Brady are getting along again. He wonders why Victor looks downright forlorn. Victor says there are other things in life...companionship, love, and without that, there's nothing.

Later, Maggie comes over to thank Victor for sending Melanie over. Victor is glad it worked out. She asks if this is a bad time. He stammers as he tells her he's due at the office. She asks, "Office?" He tells her about Brady giving back a piece of Titan. Maggie says it's great. He hesitantly says he wishes he had time to talk. She says he doesn't want to. He tries to deny it but she knows he's afraid of getting close and disappointing her, he'd rather walk away than face potential failure. He says she's very astute. She says he's fallible like everyone else, she doesn't expect nor want him to be someone that he's not because she knows that underneath that callous, curmudgeonly, antisocial guy, there's a heart of gold... a very good man, that's who she sees, that's who she adores. Maggie starts to leave. He says he's sorry. She asks for what? He says he was arrogant thinking that he deserved a woman like her, he could never be the man she wants him to be. Maggie says she's the one who should be sorry, she's the arrogant one...insisting that he change, believing that she could change him. She says he's a lovely person just the way he is...smart, funny, caring, and very deserving of love and admiration, but maybe the person who needs to understand that most of all is him. She smiles, goes to him and kisses him lightly. She leaves.

2011-05-26 Victor
Victor calls Daniel and asks him to come see him. He thinks his ulcer is acting up. Daniel is having dinner with Jennifer so he brings her with. After Daniel clears Victor, Victor asks if they are dating. He tells Daniel he finally got it right. Daniel has to take a call. Victor tells Jennifer he's glad for them. Jennifer noticed a scrapbook and he shows her some old pictures of Daniel.

2011-05-27 Maggie, Victor
Chloe comes by Maggie's to give her an update. She tells Maggie she's met a great guy. Maggie is worried it might be too soon. Then she points out that she's making a Greek casserole. She says, "When a woman makes a casserole that she can't stand to please a man she's utterly confused about, she is in no position to give advice on men or romance." Chloe says she thought she likes Victor. Maggie says not when he's being horrible to Chloe. Chloe says he's horrible to most everyone except Maggie. Jennifer comes over, sees Chloe and apologizes if she interrupted. Chloe gets a phone call and says she has to go. She leaves. Jennifer remarks how beautiful Chloe is. Maggie agrees and worries that's the root of her problems. Jennifer tells Maggie that she and Daniel went over to see Victor last night and he was miserable, it was kind of sad to see. Maggie tries to interrupt. Jennifer continues, saying Victor was pining away, she was actually feeling sorry for Victor Kiriakis. Maggie tells her to stop. She says she's already making a kasseri casserole for him. Jennifer says Maggie hates kasseri. Maggie says Victor loves it. Jennifer laughs. Maggie says he makes her so stupid!

Later, Maggie goes to Victor's to deliver the casserole she made for him but warns him he better not gloat or she'll drop it on his foot. He says he does not gloat. She hands it to him and he says it seems like enough for two but she says it's all for him, she hates it. He asks that she made it just for him. She turns away in a huff and he says he's not gloating, it's admiration. He'd been trying to think of a reason to come see her. She's amazed that an imaginative guy like him couldn't come up with something. He says he was out the door more than once but realized it wouldn't be fair to her. She asks if he forgot she said she's the one who's being unfair. He says she was just being nice. Maggie gets upset that now he doubts her sincerity. He says no, what he doubts is his ability to live up to what she thinks she sees in him. She says they're back to him thinking he doesn't deserve her. He says he know he doesn't, and it's best to make a clean break, it's less painful, he tells her goodbye and turns away. She stammers then tells him she has something to say, and that casserole earns her at least five minutes of his precious time. He says, "Damn it, Maggie, don't make this hard. I'm trying to do the right thing here." She says, "Well, you never have before, so why start now? And don't swear at me." He apologizes. She says this is dumb. He says it's not. She says it is. He says she could end up getting hurt, and then it would be his fault, and then he'd feel guilty, "And I don't like to feel guilty!" Maggie says so it's back to being about him again. He says no, she had all those years with a man who deserved her trust, her commitment, but he knew Mickey, "And I, madam, am no Mickey Horton." Maggie understands now, he's scared for himself, he says he doesn't want her to get hurt but he's really afraid that he will get hurt. Victor says that's ridiculous. She asks him for a favor. She tells him to not invoke Mickey's name like he's become some kind of a saint, she loved him more than life itself, but he was just a man, funny, passionate, and flawed. She starts to say, "Just like you could be if..." Upset, she closes her eyes and takes a slow, deep breath. Victor says, "What?" She says if he manned up. She cocks her head, grabs her purse, and tells him when he wants to have some fun, call. She waves her fingers and says, "Buh-bye," turns and walks away. Victor, shocked, watches her march out and mutters, "Why you little..." The door slams and he yells, "I am not scared!"

2011-05-31 Maggie, Victor, Vivian
At Brady Pub, Vivian is grousing to Gus about Stefano, Kate, and then Maggie, when Victor comes in. She observes as Caroline asks Victor if he'll have his usual. He tells her he'll have coffee and pie instead. She asks what Maggie will have. He tells her Maggie isn't joining him, they're taking a little break. Caroline says she sorry to hear that. Vivian tells Gus she is not. Gus smiles and says he can see madam is. Vivian gloats that she's devastated.

At the hospital, Maxine stops Maggie and asks if she's okay, she seems a little sad. Maggie says she had some trouble sleeping but she's fine. Maxine asks if she couldn't sleep because she's missing her fella. Maggie stutters as she tries to say she and Victor are... Maxine finishes for her saying their having a fling. Maggie is speechless. Maxine tells her come on, you can tell me.

Later, at home, Maggie knows that Maxine means well but that was out of line. She wonders why she just stood there like an idiot and didn't tell Maxine that she and Victor are over. Vivian comes to the door with flowers. Maggie asks if it's ticking or are the stems dipped in arsenic? Vivian chuckles and says she knows when to admit defeat. Maggie tells her goodbye. Vivian says wait, she had all that time in the sarcophagus to contemplate her life and put things in perspective. Maggie says yet she didn't figure out that it was stupid and pathetic to just randomly visit people who can't stand the sight of her? Vivian says she decided there's no reason to be vindictive and petty, she's just thinking about long-term goals and plans. Maggie says the only long-term anything involving Vivian that she would be interested in would be her committing hari-kari or getting out of Salem. Vivian just wants to apologize for what she did. Maggie isn't interested. Vivian says she knows Maggie had her sights on Victor, then she saw them being so happy together and thought why interfere with fate, so now she's moved on. She notices Maggie's expression and asks if she's pushed a button. Maggie tries to shut the door as she walks back into the house but Vivian comes in. Vivian apologizes if she's upset her. She says if Maggie wants to talk, she'll listen. Maggie is sure she will but she is the last person she would ever talk to. Vivian asks isn't she still seeing Victor. Just then Victor walks in. He tells Vivian to leave. She starts to tell him why she's there but he says he saw her at the pub and knows she overheard him talking to Caroline. She tells Maggie she did not come to rub anything in, she wanted to advise her to ignore Victor's behavior around women because he's so fickle. He says she knows nothing about him, he never cared a whit for her and never will. He says Maggie, though, he will always care for very deeply. Vivian says sure, if always means until he meets someone younger and more buxom who will worship the ground he walks on. Victor laughs as he repeats, "More buxom?" Vivian tells Maggie she feels her pain. She leaves. Victor and Maggie burst out laughing. Maggie thanks him for getting rid of Vivian. He says he has more experience with getting rid of her, it takes a little finesse. He gives her the casserole dish. She says he didn't have to return it, she's not cooking much anymore. He says that's a shame. She says she'll get back to it some day when... He says when she has someone to cook for. She struggles to not cry, forces a smile, and says yeah, when that happens. She crosses her arms. He says it will, he's sure. She nods and smiles. He tells her good-bye and to take care of herself. She says bye.

2011-06-01 Victor
Victor shows up at Daniel's looking to spend some time. Daniel has other plans. Victor asks if he's got a date with Jennifer. He praises Jennifer. Then he digs about Chloe. Daniel defends Chloe. They talk about his relationship with Jennifer. Daniel says he's going to slow things down with them. Victor gives him copies of the pictures he showed to Jennifer and tells him not to screw it up..

2011-06-02 Maggie
Maggie stops by Jennifer's because she'd seen Daniel's car there earlier but now it's gone. They share a quart of ice cream while Jennifer tells her their date ended because she was too pushy. She thinks he left because she had dressed herself up too much. Maggie listens as she rants then tells Jennifer she thinks she's overreacting. Jennifer says she's not, Daniel was clear that she's not his type and she's fine about it. Maggie says she has to leave. She tells Jennifer not to worry. Jennifer says she's done with dating.

2011-06-09 Victor
Victor comes to the pier where Chloe is arguing with Quinn. He warns Quinn about Chloe. She yells at him to go. He introduces himself to Quinn and continues to insult her. Quinn defends her and tells Victor to leave them alone. As Victor starts to leave, Quinn suggests he take his own advice about women. Victor asks if they know each other. Quinn says its clear that he's made mistakes about women. Later, Victor chats with Rafe about the DiMeras.

2011-06-17 Maggie, Victor
Lexie tells Maggie that Victor made a huge donation in honor of Mickey and Alice. Maggie says Victor loves a big gesture. Lexie doesn't think that was his reason.

Later at the mansion, Nicole is tending to Brady's bruises from a fight with EJ. Victor comes in demanding to know why Nicole is there. He's insulting Nicole when Maggie comes in and tells him to stop. Maggie is amused watching Victor squirm while Nicole thanks her for defending her and says she doesn't care what he says about her. Brady and Nicole leave the "lovebirds" alone and Victor bitterly explains why he's upset. Maggie says she's not there to talk about Brady and Nicole, she came to thank him for his donation. He says it was nothing. Maggie says of course, giving money doesn't require any commitment or understanding. She turns to leave but he grabs her arm. He says every time she comes there she ends up angry and hurt. She says she came there to thank him and ends up seeing him lashing out at Nicole, who was trying to help Brady. He says that's what he's talking about, there is always a daily crisis here, and it pains her, he can't say if that will ever change, or that he will. Maggie says he doesn't want to change. He says so she agrees with him, he can't/won't change, his family can't/won't change, and he doesn't want to subject her to it. Maggie gets upset and tells him she hates when he condescends her. He says he's trying to protect her. She says it's the same thing and at the same time, he's letting himself off the hook. She tells him when he says, "it's a far, far better thing I do by pushing Maggie out of my life," he's hoping it drowns out that little voice inside of his head that keeps saying, "I'm an old fart, and I can't change." Victor says that's mean. She says it's the truth. She cocks her head and says if he wants to spend his days writing checks and growling at his family, that's up to him. She gets flirty and says if he wants to have some fun... She smiles, wrinkles her nose, and clicks her teeth while holding her hand like a phone and says to give her a call.

2011-06-20 Maggie
Nicole is getting soused at Brady Pub when Maggie comes in. Nicole asks why she's out so late. Maggie says when she can't sleep she goes for a walk. Nicole is surprised that she can't sleep because she's like, perfect. Maggie says she is always surprised that people who drink to drown their sorrows think they are the only ones with problems. Nicole invites her to sit and talk about her troubles because she is sick of her own. She apologizes for her behavior. She asks if her thing with Victor didn't end well. Maggie says not too well. Nicole says Victor isn't worth losing sleep over. Maggie asks if Brady is worth drinking over. Nicole asks her about how she felt about her adopted daughter. Maggie asks if this is about Sydney, because there is a difference, Maggie adopted her daughter, she didn't kidnap her. Nicole says she makes a lot of mistakes, over and over and over. EJ knows that and uses it. Suddenly she gets up to leave and is clumsy. Maggie offers to walk her home. Nicole says not to worry, she's not driving. She says this was nice and they should do it again sometime. Maggie says okay.

2011-06-21 Victor
Brady turns the lights on in the living room, sees Victor and asks why he was sitting alone in the dark. He looks around and asks where Maggie is. Victor says she left. He asks Brady to tell him who he beat up. Brady starts to get a drink but Victor takes the glass and throws it into the fireplace. He demands to know who Brady fought with. Brady reminds Victor he's not in charge. Victor tells him he can help him fix whatever the problem is. Melanie comes in and says that's not necessary. She makes up a story that Brady's fight was with guys who insulted Victor.

2011-06-22 Maggie, Victor
At Brady Pub, Julie comes to help Maggie decorate for Will's graduation and asks her if that's the real reason she asked for her help. She mentions Victor's donation. Maggie says it was his farewell gesture, he told her she's too good for him. Julie says she is! Julie asks if she misses him. Maggie says no, it's time to end this hopeless dance and forget about Victor Kiriakis. Julie asks what's hopeless about it. Maggie says, "I'm me. He's a gangster." Julie thought he'd reformed. Maggie says retired maybe, reformed never. Julie asks what she's going to do. Maggie says she'll take Victor's cue and walk away. Julie says that's not like her. Maggie says she's different now. Julie asks how. Maggie says she's relieved that Victor wants out. Maggie can't hold eye-contact with her. Julie smiles. Julie says Maggie is relieved and that's why she needed to see her? Maggie needs to explain her feelings so she can have clairty. Julie looks confused but says sure, why not. Maggie says people don't understand how conflicted she's been about their relationship, even when it was going well. Julie says because he's a gangster. Maggie says no, she was being facetious, she's conflicted about being with anyone. Julie asks why? Maggie says guilt, Mickey would be jealous. Julie says she understands, but Mickey is gone and she is still here, and she is a vibrant, dynamic woman. Maggie wishes she could see that. Julie asks what she does see. Maggie says sadness most of the time. Julie says she's good at hiding it. Maggie says she's an expert. Julies says she's still in mourning. Maggie says she's afraid she couldn't handle it if Victor would want to go further, and maybe the only reason she's been interested in him is because she knows he doesn't really want to be with her. Julie thought Victor was good for her. Maggie says she hates the phrase "good for you," it sounds like she needs fixing. Julie says she meant that Victor brought her back to life. Maggie says he did do that. Julie says she did good things for him too. Maggie agrees, she and Victor were good for each other, for a while, but it's over and they need to move on, in different directions.

At Kiriakis mansion, Brady is talking to Melanie when Victor comes in and tells them he just found out that EJ is in the hospital. Brady pretends he didn't know. Victor says somebody beat him to a pulp. He says that somebody was Brady, right? Brady says he had nothing to do with it. He leaves. Victor tells Melanie he knows she made up that the fight was about him to distract him. He tells her to never lie to him again. Melanie says he can't boss her. Victor is amused that she's not afraid of him. She says she is but not the way he's used to. He says she thinks he's bad for Brady. She says she knows he is, just like he is for Philip. He asks her to tell him why. She says he keeps shooting them down which makes them try to prove their worth to him. He says it sounds like she's been spending too much time with Maggie. She says it sounds like he hasn't been spending nearly enough.

2011-06-24 Maggie, Victor
At Brady Pub, Melanie urges Maggie to get Victor out of Salem. Maggie says she won't use her feminine wiles to lure Victor out of town, one, he doesn't want anything to do with her, two, she's mad at him, three, it's ludicrous, and four, there's no reason for it. Melanie says she has to or somebody will die. Maggie panics and demands to know what she means. Melanie tells her about Brady beating up EJ and Victor knows. She tells Maggie she's the only one who can get him out of town so he doesn't retaliate. Maggie shakes her head. Melanie says she brings out the best in Victor, she can change him, she can change the whole situation. Maggie says Mickey warned her about her do-gooder streak, it's egotistical to think one can change the world. Melanie says not the world, just the man she loves. Maggie says love and $1.50 with get her a bus ride. Melanie says she still loves him. Maggie says she doesn't know, sometimes she still feels like she has a husband and he just not home. Melanie says she loved Mickey with all of her heart, but that doesn't mean she can't love somebody else again in a different way. Melanie says maybe she's being presumptuous, she can't even imagine what Maggie is going through. Maggie says she's grateful she's in her life. Melanie knows that she loves Victor. Maggie says she's right but she's realized they can't be together. Melanie asks if she ever thought if they just got together they'd find out they could be happy. Maggie thinks she came to her more about getting her back together with Victor than about preventing a war. Melanie doesn't think she's as bothered about Victor's flaws as she claims. Maggie tells her Victor is the one who called things off. Melanie begs her to at least try talking to Victor. Maggie asks she can't say no to her, she says she will try, but there are no guarantees when it comes to Victor.

At the mansion, Victor finds Brady with Nicole and tells her to get out. Brady defends Nicole. Victor tells him Nicole just told EJ, who's in the hospital, put there by Brady, that she wants a divorce, then she came right there, and EJ and Stefano are going to think that Brady beat up EJ for Nicole, and that will be bad for Brady, and worse for Nicole. He tells Nicole she only makes things worse so get out. Bo comes in and says he agrees with Victor. Brady gets snippy and both Bo and Victor tell him he should be quiet, for his own good. Nicole is about to leave but Bo arrests her. She asks for what. He says he's sure she's done something and he'll have 72 hours to figure it out. He gets serious and says there is a lot going down and it's the only place she will be safe. Victor chuckles and says he loves watching Nicole go to jail. Brady asks Bo how much he knows. Bo says he knows Brady put EJ in the hospital.

2011-06-27 Victor
Bo tells Brady his fight is officially attempted murder but he thinks he can keep him out of jail. Brady tells him to go ahead and arrest him so EJ will know he's the one who beat him up, he's not afraid of the DiMeras. Victor ask Bo if he can do anything. Bo says they need to do nothing and keep quiet. Victor is worried about Nicole. Brady says she promised to keep quiet. Victor gets snarky and Brady shuts him up. Bo agrees with Victor but thinks Nicole might have information they can use against EJ. Bo gets called away. Brady says he should just go kill EJ. Victor yells at him to calm down and listen to Bo for Melanie's sake. Her life is in danger because she lied for him. Victor reminds him he has family and friends that care about him. Brady storms out.

2011-06-29 Maggie, Victor
Maggie comes to see Victor about Rafe being blamed for beating up EJ when Brady is the one who did it. Victor tells her he wasn't part of that story. She thinks it's unfair to Rafe. He says since Rafe is a cop he's sure it's part of some plan. He doesn't believe she came there to discuss Rafe. She tells him about Melanie coming to her, trying to get them back together. Melanie had a crazy idea that Maggie should find a way to get him out of town. Victor says just go off somewhere. Maggie says with her. Victor says on a slow boat to China, just us kids. He chuckles. Maggie says it's crazy isn't it. Victor doesn't understand why she would think he'd run away and take Maggie with him. Maggie tells him Melanie knows them better than they realize. Maggie says he made it clear that they can't be together because he can never change, so when Melanie asked her to get him out of danger her first thought was no, he pushed her away and doesn't want any more contact. She tells him nothing is going to stop her from giving it one last shot. Victor thanks Maggie for coming over and trying to help, he assures her there's no need to worry about a war with the DiMeras. Maggie tells him to try to keep up, they're not talking about that anymore, they're talking about themselves. She says he's been insisting that she is saint Maggie and he is the devil incarnate. He says his past speaks for itself. She says so does everybody's, but the present counts more. She wants to know why he decided, without asking her, that they can't be together. He says he doesn't know how to answer that. He asks what is she saying. She says he's always walking away after giving her something to think about, now it's her turn, she's going to leave him with something to think about. She kisses him passionately then sashays out, leaving Victor very confused.
