Philip comes in and tells her the house was just sold to someone else. Melanie is heartbroken, grabs her purse and goes out. Philip says he better go after her. Maggie wonders what has caused a bidding war on a house that had been sitting on the market for eight months. She wonders if someone really wanted the house or just didn't want Melanie and Philip to get it.
At the mansion, Victor is on the phone yelling at a realtor that he doesn't care about the inspection report, just close on the house. He hangs up and is delighted about his scheming, then suddenly he frowns and feels guilty. He blames Maggie.
Later, Victor shows up at Maggie's door and is disappointed the kids aren't there. He starts to go then asks if it would be okay if he waits here. She thinks a second then says of course and invites him in. She says she was just thinking about him. He says he was just thinking about her too! He thinks it means something. She says no, she was thinking she hadn't seen the last of him. He says he came there to see Philip and remembers she told him there's nothing more between them. Maggie says that was stupid. He puts his hand on hers. She slowly pulls her hand away and says it was stupid because she knew it wouldn't work. He takes his hand away. She says if she told him he couldn't go to Tripoli and stand on his head, in 30 seconds he'd be on his way with a yoga mat under his arm. He thinks a second then tells her standing on your head prevents hair loss. Maggie shakes her head and says he's like a 2-year-old. He says he's young at heart. She says he'll do anything to get what he wants no matter who it hurts. He tells her she wounds him more than anyone he knows. She says good. He says she says hurtful things. She says it's called the truth. He says she's right, he's ruthless, but thanks to her it's starting to bother him. Maggie begs him to please not be sincere. He says she sees right through him. She puts her hands up and says she's going to go somewhere else and do...something. She's about to go out of the kitchen when Melanie and Philip come back home. Philip sees Victor and says, "What a surprise!" Victor asks why they look upset. Philip says he should know. Maggie asks if they think what she's thinking. Victor gets a call and goes outside. Melanie asks Maggie if she thinks Victor is buying the houses. She wonders why. Philip asks why does Victor do anything these days, then points at Maggie and says because of her. He smiles and says it's all her fault. Melanie chuckles and Maggie pouts. Philip makes some phone calls and confirms that Victor is buying the houses. Melanie says he's doing it so he doesn't lose his excuse for coming to see Maggie. Maggie says that's really expensive stalking. Philip figures he won't stop bothering Maggie until they move out. Melanie says they can't do that because he buys the houses. Maggie is sorry. Philip starts chuckling and Melanie asks what's funny. He says he was thinking that Maggie's "feminine allure" seems to be revitalizing the Salem real-estate market. Melanie says that is funny because she was thinking of backing the car over him. She heads for the door and Philip asks if they can talk about it before she does that. Maggie says she'll let them talk alone, asks Philip how did he stay sane with a father like that. She leaves the room. Philip hugs Melanie. Melanie has an idea, the solution is for them to move in with him. Philip says no. Melanie insists and calls for Maggie and Victor to come back in. After they've come back, Maggie says they don't have to do that. Melanie tells her they intruded long enough. Maggie says they aren't intruding, they've been a Godsend. Melanie says now they'll be a Godsend to Papa Vic. Victor growls at her to never call him that again. She thinks it's meant to be, he's "rattling around" alone in that big house, they need a place to live, and she's glad somebody keeps buying the houses because now they can get to know each other. She hugs his arm and asks if he knows how to play mahjongg. He looks desperately at Maggie then tells Melanie no. Maggie laughs when Melanie says she'll teach him and if she gets too annoying she'll come to visit Maggie. Victor defeatedly says he'll go give Henderson a heads up. He starts to leave then turns back and tells Maggie he'll see her later. She tells him goodbye and guesses they won't be seeing too much of each other now. Victor grumbles as long as the kids are happy. He leaves. Maggie tells them they don't have to do this for her. Philip is sure Victor wouldn't stop bothering her until they move out. He asks that she does want him to stop bothering, right? Maggie doesn't answer. Outside, Victor mutters that they think it's over but it's not.
2010-10-06 Maggie, Victor, VivianIn the coffin, Vivian hears Gus's voice and loud music. She calls out to him but he doesn't answer. She calls out again, remembers that she gave him two remotes, and asks why he can't hear her. Meanwhile, Gus is entertaining a lady friend, music playing loudly. The lady sees his shrine to Vivian and asks if that's his grandmother. He says it's his Madame. He tries to explain about Vivian and that they've had a falling out. The woman says it sounds like he's in love with her. In the coffin, Vivian calls out for Gus to help her.
At the mansion, Victor is sitting at his desk when Maggie stomps in. He is surprised but delighted to see her. She asks if it's a bad time. He says no, it's just that she'd gotten tired of him popping up on her doorstep and now, he chuckles, she's popping up on his. Maggie says she's there because she's upset with him. He says he better get a drink. She tells him no drinking, just listening. She asks if he feels any bit of guilt about snatching every chance Philip and Melanie had of owning their own home, and all for a stupid reason. Victor says getting to see her is not stupid at all. Maggie yells that he better not use Philip and Melanie ever again! He asks or what, she'll make him wish he was never born? She yells, "Yes!" Victor chuckles and says she's sounding more like a Kiriakis every day. Maggie coolly tells him she's not making a Kiriakis-type threat, she's making a promise. He invites her to sit with him and he'll have Henderson fix some coffee, all those wonderful times she was hospitable for him, he'd like to reciprocate. Maggie declines, she's made her point. She tells him good-bye and stomps out. Victor chuckles.
When Maggie arrives home she sees Melanie is upset. They chat about Melanie and Philip moving out. Maggie says she's going to miss them. She worries if it's got Melanie so upset then maybe it isn't the right thing to do. Melanie says it is the right thing. She starts to cry and says all good things come to an end. Maggie says it's not like her to be pessimistic. She can tell something is upsetting her and asks her to talk about it. Melanie tells her that she found out a patient is lying to her husband about something that can really hurt him. Maggie wonders if Melanie should be so concerned. Melanie says she has to tell the husband because nobody else will. Maggie worries Melanie might not completely understand the situation. Melanie asks if she ever found out something that she wished she had never, ever found out. Maggie hesitantly says yes, and she didn't handle it well. She says she remembers something Mickey used to say, "Make sure you have your facts straight before you confront anyone...because the cost of being wrong can be unbearably high." She tells Melanie this is somebody else's life. Melanie understands and she knows what she has to do before she says anything.
Vivian is calling to Gus again but Brady answers her. Brady Is in Vivian's bedroom. He and Vivian are chatting when Victor comes in and asks who he's talking to. Brady says he was talking to himself while packing up the rest of Vivian's things. He has a favor to ask of Victor but wants to take their conversation downstairs. In the living room, Brady asks Victor if he can move into Vivian's old room, it's larger, has a nice view. Victor says fine. Brady tells him that Nicole will be moving in with him. Victor is upset.
Vivian calls out for somebody to help her. In Gus's room, the lady is gone. He talks to Vivian's picture, blaming her for the woman "running for the hills." He doesn't know why he's devoted to her. He hears Vivian's voice calling to him, looks around and calls out to her.
At Maggie's, Daniel comes over, looking for Melanie. Maggie tells him she doesn't know where Melanie went and she's upset about a situation at work. She says maybe he could give Melanie some guidance.
2010-10-07 Maggie, Victor, VivianAt Maggie's, Daniel comes over to see Melanie. Philip comes home. Maggie gets a call and has to go out.
At the mansion Victor is livid about Nicole moving into the house. Brady stays very cool. Victor wants to know what's going on. Brady says he can't tell him the details but Victor would definitely approve. Victor asks if Brady is using Nicole. Brady says yes. Victor tells him he likes this side of him but it's never a good idea to have Nicole around. Daniel arrives to get ready for the wedding. Nicole pops in. Victor says he has to go tell Henderson to hide the silver. Daniel is surprised that Victor was civil to Nicole then realizes Brady and Nicole are back together.
Meanwhile, Gus hears Vivian calling to him and thinks he's losing his mind. He finally realizes it's the remote. She tells him she's in the sarcophagus and explains what happened. She begs him to come save her. He says he's sorry but she sort of deserves this. Vivian says he can't leave her there to die. He says he's sorry, she made her bed, now she has to lie in it. He tells her good-bye.
At the park, Maggie finishes a phone call with Melissa, turns around and is surprised to see Victor standing there. He says he was just walking. She asks if everything is okay. He says no and he knows she's not happy with him lately but this concerns someone she cares about so he hopes she'll be willing to help. She asks who. He says Brady is drinking again but that's not what he's worried about, he thinks Brady's life is going to become a huge mess. Maggie asks if he can be more specific. Victor says Brady is back with Nicole. Maggie says Nicole will not help Brady, he's worked so hard at fixing his life. She thinks something happened to Brady after he and Arianna broke up, he became reckless and headstrong. Victor wants to ban Nicole from the house. Maggie warns him if he interferes he will alienate Brady. She suggests he watch closely and see how things develop and be ready to step in, but only if necessary. He says that sounds like good advice. She asks if he'll follow it. He paces and she says he's not going to stay back and wait, is he. Victor chuckles that he's that obvious. She says he's stubborn and used to getting his own way. Victor says he loves Brady and wants to do the right thing. He asks if she'll help him. She says yes. He thanks her and is glad they could talk, as always. He starts to leave then says he hopes to see her at the wedding. She smiles and he leaves then she bites her lip.
2010-10-11 VictorAt the mansion, Philip tells Victor he and Daniel have been trying to reach Melanie. Victor is hoping Chloe has decided to spare everyone the misery of this debacle. Philip tells him not to cause any problems today. Victor asks him why this is so important to him. Philip leaves a message for Melanie. Victor asks again why Philip is so bothered about the wedding. Philip says it's important to Melanie and he wants it to go the way she wants, he wishes he could find her. Daniel comes in and says he's having the same problem. Philip figures her phone has died. He goes off to dress for the wedding. Victor makes a snarky comment to Daniel about the marriage not lasting. Daniel lights into him and orders him to behave. After Daniel calms down, he asks if Victor is going to attend. Victor says he will if he's still invited. Daniel says he is if he's not planning to sabotage it. Victor says he's just going to sit back and let Chloe do that. Daniel gets frustrated that Victor has no problem taking pot shots at the woman he is going to marry. Victor says he's his godfather, he promised to look out for him, he watched him with Rebecca. Chloe will never be Rebecca. Daniel says nobody could be and he thinks of her all the time and she keeps getting more perfect. But she was human, he can't bring her back and he doesn't want to be alone. Victor says he can't help the way he feels about Chloe. Daniel says neither can he and if he has to choose between them, Victor won't like his choice. Victor reminds him how Chloe ruined Brady. Daniel says he's not Brady. Philip comes back into the room and asks if they are still talking about Chloe. Philip gets a call from Chloe who tells him that Melanie knows she cheated, she needs to see him. Philip says he can be right there. He hangs up and tells the guys he has to go fix a problem at Titan TV. After he's gone, Victor and Daniel go another round about Chloe until Daniel tells him to just not come to the wedding. Daniel starts to go but Victor says since he won't be at the wedding he'll give him his gift now. Daniel opens it and says it's beautiful. Victor says it's been in the family for generations. He tells Daniel it's something that means a lot to him and so does Daniel, so if Chloe means that much to Daniel, he will accept her into the family. Daniel thanks him and they hug.
2010-10-13 Maggie, Victor, VivianMaggie is preparing to leave for the wedding when Victor comes to her door. She asks what he's doing there. He says he is applying for the position of Knight in Shining Armor. Maggie is adorably confused. He figured rather than her go alone, he'd offer to take her to the wedding. Maggie frowns and tells him no. Victor looks wounded and says he's confused since she said he's mostly the reason she postponed her trip. Maggie stammers as she admits that he was part of the reason, because she did--does sometimes enjoy his company, but his marriage... He says which is over. She adds also her grief over her husband... She pauses, looking at Victor, then sadly says she realized that she can't spend time with him. Victor frowns. Her voice breaks as she says she thought she could but it's too stressful, she feels disloyal to Mickey and it feels wrong. Victor understands it was devastating for her and she shouldn't do anything that doesn't feel right, he wants her to be happy again. She thanks him. He suggests, since he's there, maybe he could just take her to the wedding, he promises to leave her alone once they're there. He will pretend he doesn't know her. Maggie chuckles and accepts.
Meanwhile, Vivian is getting weaker and she begs Gus to save her. Brady asks Vivian who she's talking to. She says she's talking to herself to keep from going insane. Gus listens in. Vivian tells Brady she's realized that she has been suppressing a deep anger and lashing out, hurting people. Brady tells her nobody cares. He disconnects. Vivian asks Gus if he heard that. She begs him to get her out. Gus finally gives in.
At the park, tension builds as people start arriving for the wedding but not the key figures. When they finally do, Daniel says they can't start the ceremony until Melanie gets there. Chloe talks him into starting without her. When as the Justice of the Peace begins, Melanie comes up and tells them to stop.
2010-10-14 Maggie, VictorMelanie wants to talk to Chloe alone or would she prefer it publicly. Chloe and Melanie go off to talk. Maggie tells Victor she's worried that Melanie seemed very upset and she wants to go check on her but Victor stops her, reminding her of her own advice to him about interfering only when necessary. Maggie looks impressed but says she isn't sure she likes being around someone who can remember everything she says. Victor says she better get used to it. Melanie and Chloe come back and the wedding continues. After the ceremony, Maggie and Victor look on as everyone congratulates the newlyweds. She's thrilled for them while Victor sourly hopes Daniel is ready for "the heartburn coming his way." Maggie asks him to please hold off with the negativity until tomorrow. Victor grumble that Chloe and Nicole keep popping up in his family, like a couple of bad pennies. Maggie rolls her eyes. Later, Brady and Nicole are leaving to check on Vivian when Victor walks up and asks why they're talking about Vivian. They come up with a cover story. Nicole leaves. Victor is about to nag Brady about Nicole but Maggie walks up, clearing her throat, so he tells Brady to watch his back. Brady leaves. Maggie asks Victor if he could take her home.
At Maggie's, she asks if he'd like to stay for tea. He says if it's not too much trouble. She says then he'll be on his way? He says of course, he's never one to overstay his welcome. He thanks her for stopping him from giving Brady a piece of his mind. She says his mind must have a lot of pieces, he gives them out so liberally. He jokes that she should just put a couple of spoons of arsenic in his tea. She gets serious and says he needs to be patient about Brady and Nicole. She's sure it won't last long. Victor says she's wrong. He says getting involved with Nicole leads to disaster. Maggie thinks for a minute then tells Victor to forget her advice. Victor looks stunned and asks if she means stop minding his own business. He chuckles. She smiles and says she has been known to be wrong. Victor teases not her. She says yes, Brady is his grandson, so if he thinks Nicole is going to mess up Brady's life then he needs to step in and do something.
2010-10-15 Victor, VivianAt the mansion, Nicole and Brady are making out when Victor comes in. He yells at them to go to a motel. Brady asks Nicole to let him talk to his grandfather alone. Brady tells Victor to treat Nicole nicely or they will both leave. Victor asks if he's in love with Nicole now. Brady says no. Victor demands to know what is going on. Brady says Victor brought Vivian into this house and she is worse than Nicole. He yells at Victor to back off. Victor asks what Vivian has to do with this, she's gone. Brady just says it's a good question. Victor gives up but knows something is wrong. He says he's going to the mausoleum to pray with Isabella. He asks Brady to join him, it might give him some peace. Brady says no.
Meanwhile, Gus is outside of Brady Pub when he calls Vivian and tells her he's in Salem and on his way to rescue her. She calls him her hero and be careful. Gus puts on sunglasses and walks away, Nicole comes along and watches curiously. Gus arrives at the mausoleum and lets Vivian know he's there. Vivian watches on the monitor and tries to direct where to find the lever then warns him there's somebody behind him. There's a thud and Gus falls to the floor, knocked out. Vivian cries, "Oh no!"
2010-10-19 Maggie, Victor, VivianIn the mausoleum, Vivian is giggling and telling Victor he's tickling her but actually there is a snake crawling on her. She looks down, sees it and screams. She wakes up and panics then yells for someone to save her. She calls to Gus on the remote then thinks Brady must have knocked him out. She yells for Gus and hears a man's voice say Hello. She switches on the monitor and sees Victor. She thinks he's come to save her. Victor finds the remote on the floor and picks it up as Vivian calls to him. He asks if that's Vivian. She says he's standing right next to her. He spins around looking for her. She says she's in the sarcophagus and begs him to get her out. Victor can't believe this and asks if she's in there with Isabella. She tells him not to be ridiculous. He demands to know where Isabella is. She says she will tell him everything if he'll just get her out of there. Victor is curious how she managed to get herself locked in a sarcophagus with a remote-control receiver. She says Brady put her in there. Victor doesn't believe her. He starts to leave. Vivian tells him Nicole is involved too, she's sure Nicole made Brady do it. Victor asks why would Nicole want her entombed. Vivian doesn't know but it doesn't matter, she's locked in and can't breathe. She begs him to get her out and tells him how to open the sarcophagus. He tries but can't move the lever so he says he'll go for help. She asks him to just call the house. He says he doesn't have his phone. She tells him to hurry but don't ask Henderson, he has no upper-body strength. Victor snarks that Henderson will be pleased to know that she's back. She says her life is in his strong, capable hands!
Back at the mansion, Brady comes in and asks Victor how his day has been. Victor says it's been mundane, he read the paper, got a haircut, found Vivian locked in Isabella's coffin. Brady is shocked and asks if he let her out. Victor says not yet. Brady asks what she told him. He says she told him Nicole is responsible and coerced Brady into helping her. Brady says that's wrong, he put her in there and Nicole found out afterward. Victor figured he would say that. He asks why he would put Vivian in a coffin meant for his mother. Brady says it was never meant for his mother, it was meant for Maggie. Victor is stunned. Brady tells him about finding Vivian in the mausoleum, admiring how she tricked out the sarcophagus to keep someone alive, and he got her to admit she was going to put Maggie in there. Victor is devastated. Brady says Vivian was going to torture Maggie, force her to watch while she tried to seduce Victor. Victor gets angry, he knew she was up to something. Brady says there's more, she needed somewhere to put Isabella's remains. Victor tells him to wait, he needs to sit down. Brady tells him she reburied Isabella in a pet cemetery. Victor can't speak. Brady is sorry he had to tell him. Victor curses Vivian. Brady says he had his mother returned to the mausoleum. He says he snapped, didn't think about it, just shoved Vivian into the coffin. Victor says then he covered his tracks by sending the email from Vivian. He asks who knows about this. Brady says only Nicole and she knows everything. Victor sighs.
Meanwhile, Vivian imagines that she ruins Victor's and Maggie's wedding.
At the mansion, Nicole comes in while asking Brady if he had a chance to check on... She cuts off when she sees Victor. Victor asks, "Who? Vivian?" Brady says Victor knows everything.
2010-10-20 Victor, VivianIn the mausoleum, Vivian gets impatient while waiting for Victor to return.
At the mansion, Brady tells Nicole that Victor knows. Victor tells Brady he's a genius, a chip off the ole block. He says they will leave Vivian in the coffin until he figures out how to keep her from sending them to jail and forcing him to be married to her. Brady gives him the earpiece. Victor leaves.
Brady, alone, hallucinates that Isabella is there. She says he has turned into her father. She asks what does he think her father will do with Vivian. Brady says he will never let her out. Isabella says her father is used to having blood on his hands but Brady is not. She asks what will he do. He asks her what should he do. She says he knows the answer. Nicole returns with booze, hears him talking and comes into the living room. She asks Brady who he was talking to. He sees his mother standing behind her. Nicole asks if he's okay. He says no, they need to let Vivian out. He sees his mother smiling at him.
Meanwhile, Victor is in the mausoleum and tells Vivian he knows the truth and she will pay. She promises if he lets her out she'll give him a divorce and leave Salem for good. She starts to cough and says the fumes will kill her. Victor asks what she means, what else had she planned for Maggie? She tells him about the toxic paint. He says she
was intending to kill Maggie! She says not kill her, just make her "dazed and confused." He starts to leave but she begs him to stay. She asks if he believes her. He says yes.
2010-10-21 Maggie, Victor, VivianIn the mausoleum, Victor reminds her about his order that Maggie was off-limits but she defied him. Vivian says he can let her out and torture her some other way. Victor says this punishment she planned for Maggie seems fitting for her. Vivian says she wasn't going to go through with it. Victor says she would have had to, if she let Maggie out Maggie would have told him what Vivian had done. Vivian says she did it for him, Maggie could never love him. Victor tells her to start praying before she goes insane. Vivian is sure he won't let this happen. Victor says so far they've only talked about her plan for Maggie, they've yet to talk about what she did to Isabella, burying her with animals. He hopes this takes a long time. He disconnects.
Carly comes to Maggie's, thinking Melanie isn't home, so she can talk to Maggie. Melanie comes in and tells her she should go. Maggie suggests Melanie and Carly talk privately. She leaves the room. Later, Carly asks Melanie to think about what she said, then she leaves. Melanie is crying when Maggie comes back in. Maggie had hoped Melanie and Carly could work things out. Melanie thinks they never will. Maggie says maybe not tonight, but sometime.
Victor goes back to the mansion. Brady asks if he left Vivian in the coffin. Victor says he did and maybe Brady will think twice about doing something if he can't face the consequences. Brady leaves. Nicole is about to leave but Victor tells her to stay, they need to talk. He thanks her. He says they can't forget about their personal history but he appreciates the way she's been dealing with Brady. Nicole starts to leave. Victor says he wants her to do something for him tonight, it concerns Maggie.
Maggie says Melanie needs to finish packing. Melanie says she's stalling, if she doesn't pack they can't move. Maggie says she can visit any time. Melanie says it won't be the same, everywhere else is crazy. Maggie thinks her pain is because Carly is her mom and that's the downside of having a family. Trying not to cry, Maggie tells Melanie sometimes it's hard to accept that people you love have flaws. She knows Carly never meant to hurt Melanie. Melanie says she doesn't need Carly, she has Maggie, she's her only real mom. Maggie hugs her.
Brady is in the park and he sees his mom. He apologizes but there's no turning back. Isabella says good-bye and fades away.
Vivian is sure that Victor knows he wants her, needs her. She hopes he realizes it before she's dead.
2010-10-25 Maggie, Victor, VivianVictor is in the mausoleum. Maggie rushes in and says she got his message. He tells her he loves her and knows she's grieving, but he's patient. Maggie says he is not. He says he going to make her love him. She smiles and starts to ask if he doesn't know he has... Vivian rushes in and stabs her in the back. Maggie falls into Victor's arms. Victor looks shocked. Vivian tells him if she can't have him, no one can. Vivian wakes up from her dream and vows to make it happen for real.
At Maggie's, Nicole is outside and talking on her phone to Victor, who's outside the mausoleum. She tells him she's the wrong person for this job. He tells her to stop complaining. Nicole thinks it won't work. Maggie walks up and asks what won't work. Maggie and Nicole go inside. Maggie asks who she was talking to. Nicole says it was Brady, he sent her. Maggie doesn't believe her and tells her to tell the truth. Nicole confesses she was talking to Victor then hems and haws. Maggie says she'll just call Victor. Nicole stops her and says he sent her there. Maggie asks why. Nicole hesitates again and Maggie bribes her with a piece of carrot cake. Nicole says Victor thinks he's in love with Maggie. Maggie finds it hard to believe that Victor would send Nicole with the message that he loves her. Nicole says there's more, she's supposed to talk Maggie into loving him back. Maggie takes away the cake and asks how she was supposed to do that. Nicole says she's supposed to make up some sob story so Maggie would rush over to Victor's to make him feel better. Maggie says that sounds desparate and asks if he really thought that would work. She gives the cake back to Nicole. Nicole starts to say now that she's living there and Maggie cuts her off in disbelief. Nicole quickly says it was Brady's idea, she'll have to ask him. She goes on to say that Victor does seem different. Maggie looks concerned and asks her to explain. Nicole says Victor has lost his edge, it's like he has given up. Maggie looks confused and says she hasn't seen him acting like that. Nicole says he hides it from her but all he does is mope around the mansion in his bathrobe. Maggie scrunches her face and asks why. Nicole thinks it has to do with Isabella. Nicole continues with her story, that Victor spends a lot of time in the mausoleum and Brady has heard him talking to the casket. Maggie says she's done that too. Nicole says Victor is a man of steel, he'll snap out of it, he has a lot to live for. Maggie nods and says Victor adores his family. Nicole thanks her for the cake and apologizes for bothering her. She leaves.
At the mausoleum, Victor asks Vivian if she's still breathing. Vivian apologizes for saying Maggie could never love him, she was jealous, he's so powerful, handsome and charismatic. She laments losing him to Maggie. He says she never had him. She says she's done a lot of thinking. The two of them are alike in that they don't care about hurting people to get what they want. He says everyone is like that. She says not Maggie Horton and he doesn't deserve a woman like her but he will keep after her until he wins. What if he does win her over and then she finds out about him keeping Vivian in the coffin? Maggie will leave him for good. Vivian says Maggie
will find out about this so he needs to let her out. He says she'll get revenge by telling Maggie and then go to the police. Vivian says she can't or Bo would kill her. He asks if she's saying she'll leave Maggie and him alone. She says no, they'll go back to life as it was before. She knows he'll never love her but she'll settle for his company, and there will be no more flirting with Maggie, in return, she'll keep quiet. Nicole calls Victor and tells him her mission was a success. She says she saw Maggie get in her car, she's sure Maggie is heading there. Victor hangs up on her and goes back to talking with Vivian. He hates to admit that she's right but she is, he won't be able to keep up the lie with Maggie. Vivian asks if that means he'll let her out. Just then, Maggie comes in. Vivian watches as Victor casually takes the earpiece off his ear and asks Maggie what she's doing there. Maggie scolds him for sending Nicole to get her worried about him. She says it worked but he must be crazy if he sent Nicole. She's worried that he's been hiding his pain about his daughter. She says he's been so kind to her about Mickey, she doesn't want him to be alone with his grief. He reminds her she said she didn't want to be involved in his life. She reminds him she also said she's his friend. He admits to sending Nicole and now regrets it because of how she's looking at him. He says she was right, this can't work, so he'd like her to leave. Her voice cracks as she asks if he's sure. He says he is and she should never come back. Maggie is taken aback. Vivian cheers him on and says they both are better off without her. Maggie refuses to leave him alone and suggests they go up to the house. He asks if she'll get him a hot water bottle and lap robe. Upset, she says she's not treating him like an old man, she's treating him like a grieving father. He says the worst thing about losing Isabella is that he was such a disappointment to her when she died. Maggie is sure she loved him. He tells Maggie not to worry about him, he misses Isabella but he's glad she can't see what he's done. Maggie, concerned, asks what did he do? He reminds her about the night she followed him to the meeting with Stefano, and that she didn't like the man he'd turned into. Vivian says she likes that man. Victor says Isabella didn't like him either. He didn't like the look of disappointment in Isabella's eyes, the same way Maggie is looking at him. Maggie asks if disappointing Isabella is why he's upset now. They sit on the bench and Maggie tells him Isabella would love him no matter what. She holds his hand in hers and says he can be cold as ice and not have a sentimental bone in his body, but he still has a warm, loving heart. Near tears, she says emphatically, "That's what makes you so damn complicated!" Victor smiles and says she always knows the right thing to say. Maggie smiles. Vivian cries, "No! Noooo!"
2010-10-26 Maggie, Victor, VivianVivian cries then tells herself once Maggie finds out what Victor has done she won't have anything to do with him. Maggie gently rubs Victor's hand and asks if this thing that he's done has something to do with Vivian. Victor gets up and steps away, saying he doesn't want to talk about Vivian. Maggie doesn't either but she thinks Vivian is part of the reason he's telling Maggie to go away. He tells Maggie he's dealing with a situation his way, not not the Maggie Horton way. Maggie says it seems to be bothering him a lot. He says it has to be done. She asks if he can tell her whether Vivian is part of it. Victor says no. She says since she drove all the way over here to see if he's all right, can she asks another question and maybe get an answer? He says he'll think about it. She says that's fair enough. She says the day he married Vivian she was sure that he was taking one for the team. She asks him if he married Vivian to protect someone. Victor doesn't answer her. Vivian curses Maggie. Victor reminds Maggie about her offer to help him escape. Vivian is livid. Victor says if she'd offered just a little earlier, he doesn't know where they'd be right now but they wouldn't be in the mausoleum. They both smile. Brady comes in and apologizes for interrupting. Vivian is glad to see him and hopes he'll tell Maggie everything. Maggie is glad to see him. Brady says he saw her car and wondered. Victor says she came to see him (Victor). Maggie says she has to leave, she has things to do. She gently tells Victor to take care of himself. After she's gone, Brady apologizes again for interrupting them. Victor tells him not to worry, maybe Brady can be romantic when there's a live woman in a coffin a few feet away, but he finds it a little hard to concentrate. Brady asks if he's having second thoughts. Victor says no. Brady says the old Victor might have been able to keep Vivian buried but the guy he turns into when Maggie is around...he's not so sure. Vivian says that's why Widow Horton should be in the coffin instead of her. Brady feels since he got them all into this, it's his duty to end it. He sees the way Victor looks at Maggie, and she at him. He asks if Victor thinks he could have a chance with her while Vivian is in this box? Victor says the only option then is to keep her in the box because Vivian has made it clear to him that she will continue to be his wife or she will go publc, and that would end things for both of them with Maggie permanently. Vivian is sick of hearing Victor talk about Maggie, Maggie, Maggie! She vows to get out and get even. Brady asks if he really thinks he can have it both ways. Victor says he's going to try. Brady gets a call from EJ. Victor tells him to answer. EJ tells Brady that Arianna has been hit by a car, he needs to get there right away if he wants to tell her good-bye. Brady has gone and Victor is reconnected with Vivian. She says he did the right thing, telling Maggie not to come back. He says Maggie knows he didn't mean it. She says Maggie won't stop asking about her. Victor says he can handle it. Vivian isn't so sure, Brady is wavering, Nicole is a loose cannon, all this for a woman who won't even admit she has feelings for him, and she will write him off when she finds out. Victor says he'll have to make sure she doesn't find out. He tells her goodnight and leaves. Vivian vows to make sure that Maggie does find out and then Victor will lose her forever.
2010-10-28 Victor, Vivian(Kate has discovered that Vivian is trapped in the sarcophagus.)In the sarcophagus, Vivian grumbles impatiently, wondering why Kate is taking so long to get there from the house. Kate, wearing the earpiece, finally gets there and tells her to put a sock in it. Vivian says she'll tell Kate how to get her out. Kate asks why would she think she'd want to get her out? Kate says she's not letting her out until she finds out what's in it for her. Vivian says they'll get revenge on Victor and Nicole, she and Kate have two things in common, one, they never forget, the other is they never...Kate says she right, they never forgive. Vivian gives up and says she gets it, people hate her and think she's getting what she deserves so just get it over with, make her crazy, make her dead, she can't stand another lineup of people telling her off. Kate softens and says she's actually starting to feel sorry for her. She asks Vivian how to open the coffin. Vivian thanks her and tells her where to find the lever.
At the mansion, Victor and Bo wonder where Brady is and worry about him going back to drugs now that Arianna has died. Victor curses drugs then apologizes and tells Bo he went to see Hope the other day, briefly, and they talked about Ciara. He asks if Bo has seen Hope recently. Bo says yes, Hope doesn't want Ciara to visit her but he thinks it would help Ciara understand better. Victor disagrees, he doesn't understand why they won't let him help to get the governor to pardon Hope. Bo says Hope doesn't want that. Victor doesn't care, tomorrow he's calling the governor and telling him that Titan News is going to do an expose on the drug company that ruined Hope's life, he'll include how much money the company contributed to the governor's campaign. Bo says Hope doesn't want that, she wants to handle this on her own. Victor blames Bo for her wanting that, she needs his support and he just needed to push her little, but maybe he's still mad about her attacking him. Bo is frustrated and says he always feels so much better after these talks they have. Victor says Bo's feelings don't matter, his family is in big trouble and he needs to do something. Bo calms down and says he hates it when Victor is right.
Kate is trying to move the lever when Victor comes in and asks what she's doing. Kate puts her hand over the earpiece and doesn't answer. Victor asks if she's okay. She says she isn't. Victor says she doesn't look well, he suggests they go to the house and he'll get her a brandy. Vivian tells her to go then come back later. Kate says no, she's not going anywhere. Victor discovers the earpiece. Kate says she knows his dirty little secret. Vivian smiles. Kate tells Victor he has a problem. He says she can't be upset that he's giving Vivian a taste of her own medicine. Kate says no, but she knows he didn't put her in there, that Brady did. Victor says Kate is smarter than to believe anything Vivian says. Kate says no, she overheard Brady pouring his heart out to dying Arianna. Victor tells her that Vivian moved Isabella to a pet cemetery, that, added to her plan for Maggie, sent Brady over the edge, he shoved Vivian in the coffin then didn't know how to get out of the situation. Kate says Victor's one weakness is his boys and he has a soft spot for the weakest one. She tells Victor she has the upper hand here. He asks how much does she want. Vivian tells her not to listen to him, remember how much she hates him. Kate asks if he really thinks throwing money at her will make her forget about Vivian. They break out laughing. Victor invites her to the house so they can talk about a deal.
