I took it as Philip is the one she will hurt, not Brady.. I can't wait to see the romance bloom between Brady & Chloe.

CHLOE'S BEDROOM Chloe is laying face down on her bed sobbing when there’s a knock on her bedroom door. Chloe: Go away. Nancy: Sweetie, it’s your mom. Can I come in? Chloe: No! Nancy enters the room anyway. Nancy: Honey, what’s wrong? I heard you crying. Is there anything I can do? Chloe: Yes, you can leave me alone. Nancy: But I’m your mother. I want to help you. Chloe: You can help me by getting out of my room. Nancy puts her arms around Chloe, and Chloe doesn’t have the strength to push her away. Chloe: Oh Nancy, everything is falling apart. Nancy: Is it Philip? Did he do something to upset you? Chloe: Why would you say that? Nancy: Because whenever you cry, he’s usually the reason. Chloe: I guess so. Indirectly. You see, I went to the carnival tonight. Nancy: Was it nice? Chloe: Some of it was nice. I went to see a fortune teller and she told me that I was going to do something to hurt the love of my life. Nancy: The love of your life? Chloe: She told me she saw my initials. And Philip’s. So I had to break up with him. Nancy: Hmmm. Interesting. I don’t usually put any stock in fortune telling, but I’ll make an exception in this case. I think you made a wise decision. Chloe: You do? Nancy: Yes. I think you did the right thing and you’ll be happier in the long run. Chloe: You’re only saying that because you hate Philip. Nancy: Hate is such a strong word, sweetie. I just don’t think he’s the right boy for you. He always has some big drama going on. Besides, you’re still so young and you shouldn’t be tied down to just one boy. Chloe: I just feel so awful. But I feel like I had to hurt Philip now, so that I wouldn’t hurt him later. Does that even make sense? Nancy: Yes sweetie, it does. Now why don’t you try to get some sleep and everything will look better in the morning. Okay? Chloe: Okay. Nancy goes to leave the room. Chloe: Nancy … thank you. Nancy: Any time. Good night Chloe. Tune in tomorrow for the start of “The Way We Were.”myhourglass.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=newkpatchfic&thread=1708&page=1#39329

This is great! Thanks for writing this, kpatch! I was a little surprised by how abruptly Chloe broke things off with Philip, but I'm looking forward to Brady and Chloe's story.

Wow, this brings back those old days... I remember both Craig & Nancy going into Chloe's room to help support her.

Looking forward to The Way We Were (one of my all-time favorite movies) and the budding romance between Brady and Chloe (another classic).

I like this story it's very interesting but I HATE that Chloe broke up with Philip for Brady! Knowing how much Philip loved her! But I think the reason for that is Philip was way too into Chloe he didn't have his own identity. As much as I don't really like Broe I'm interested in seeing what happened between them in Venice. Great work girl!
