Tune in Monday for the start of an original new two-part story that spans 10 years, from high school through the present. The second part is called The Way We Were, and it was written by request. It explains what happened to Brady and Chloe in Vienna, a subject that Days of Our Lives has not explored yet, and it will run immediately after Being Chloe. I hope you will enjoy these stories.
Part 1 Being Chloe: Last Blast From the Past
Part 2 The Way We Were: What Happened to Brady and Chloe in Vienna
Disclaimer: To avoid confusion, this story is unrelated to any other kpatch story.

CHEATIN’ HEART, 2011
Chloe sat in the Cheatin’ Heart drinking her third martini. She didn’t much care how drunk she was getting. Her life sucked. She’d been married and divorced three times and got pregnant by her oldest friend. He was supposed to be her best friend, but he deserted her in her darkest hour and took sole custody of their son, denying her any rights to a baby she never thought she’d have. But who could blame him? She left her baby boy in a house with the oven on, and then she left him outside alone in the freezing cold while she tried to drown herself. Was it any wonder she was drowning her sorrows in a dive bar in the middle of the day?
Despite her progressively drunken state, she couldn’t help but wonder how it all went so wrong, how her life got so off course. She had so much promise at one point. She had love and support. She had looks, she had talent. She had men fighting over her.
She shouldn’t be here. But she was. And it all started on that fateful night during her senior year in high school.
To be continued weekdays... ______________________________________ Copyright ©2011 kpatch. All rights reserved.

SALEM FAIRGROUNDS, SUMMER EVENING, 2002
Chloe: This isn’t the right place. Philip: It is too. Shawn, Belle, Brady, Kevin and Mimi said to meet them at the Ferris Wheel. Chloe: No. They said to meet them at the Midway. They’re probably waiting there now. Philip: I’m sure they said to meet them here. Chloe: And I’m just as sure they said to meet them at the Midway. Philip: You’re beautiful when you’re angry. Chloe: You have the most infuriating way of changing the subject. Philip: Tell the truth. You don’t really mind me calling you beautiful. Chloe smiles. Chloe: I hate you. Truly and deeply. Philip: Oh sure. I can see how much you hate me. He kisses her. Philip: I love you so much, Chloe. Chloe: I ... I .... Could you do something for me? Philip: Anything. Chloe: Could you go and see if Shawn and Belle and the others are waiting for us at the Midway? Philip: Now who’s changing the subject? Chloe: I’ll wait here. Just in case you happen to be right. Philip smirks at her. Philip: I don’t like leaving you alone. Chloe: I’ll be fine. Philip: Don’t go anywhere. I’ll be back in 10 minutes. He kisses her. Chloe: Philip, wait. Philip: For what? Chloe: I think I’m ready to tell you what you’ve been waiting so long to hear me say. Philip: You are? Chloe: Yes, I am. Philip smiles and Chloe melts into a puddle. Philip: I’m speechless. Chloe: Then hurry back. Philip kisses Chloe, then he sprints toward the Midway. Chloe watches him until he fades into the crowd. She turns her attention to the parade of young lovebirds boarding the Ferris Wheel two by two. The colored neon lights against the night sky almost looks like fireworks and the warm summer breeze makes her long for Philip to return. She starts to feel nervous about admitting her feelings to Philip, so she starts pacing. For some inexplicable reason, she’s drawn into a tent with the sign “Celestial Visions.” As she enters, the smell of incense permeates the air of this dimly lit salon. She hears a woman’s voice call to her. Woman: Come in dahling. Come sit and I will tell you your future.
To be continued ...

Yay! Looking forward to much much more. When I read celestial visions I immediately thought of Celeste, Lexies mom. Wasn't she psychic?
Looking forward to tomorrow's Installment!
