Horton House

Abigail and JJ Devereaux are in the living room with one another and JJ is speaking on the phone to someone about funeral arrangements when there’s a knock at the door. Abigail goes to answer it and Steve Johnson and Kayla Brady are standing in the doorway. Abigail immediately breaks down crying again and gets hugs from Steve and Kayla as JJ enters the foyer.

JJ: Uncle Steve, Aunt Kayla.

Steve smiles at his nephew.

Steve: JJ, it’s been a while but I must say. You look exactly like your dad.

JJ nods as Abigail wipes her tears away.

Abigail: Come on in.

Steve and Kayla enter the house and the four begin discussing what is going to happen next.

Salem Coffee House

Doug and Julie Williams are sitting in the coffee house discussing Jennifer’s death and what it means for the family when Hope Brady and Aiden Jennings enter and approach them.

Doug: My beautiful daughter, it is so good to see you!

Doug gets up and hugs Hope before they all sit down.

Hope: Dad, Julie, Aiden and I have something to tell you.

Doug: And what would that be?

Aiden/Hope: We’re getting married!

Julie’s smile fades into anger.

Julie: At a time like this? Really? You cousin was just brutally murdered and she hasn’t even been laid to rest yet!

Aiden: Mrs. Williams, I assure you th-

Julie: I don’t want to hear it! This is so disrespectful to the memory of your cousin, Hope!

Hope begins standing up, as does Aiden.

Hope: Dad, you can expect your invitation in the mail but if you think you’re bringing Julie than don’t bother showing up!

Doug: Sweetie…

Hope and Aiden turn around and walk off as Doug stares at Julie, angered.

Salem Police Headquarters

Rafe Hernandez is in the briefing room looking at the evidence board when Ed Watson enters with a stern look on his face.

Ed: Detective Hernandez, any progress?

Rafe: Ed, I’m sorry but I don’t think I can crack this case by myself and you laid off two of the best detectives we have in Salem.

Ed nods.

Ed: It wasn’t my decision, Rafe. Take it up with the Mayor.

Rafe: If you want to crack the case and catch this son of a bitch, you need to bring Hope and Roman back.

Ed: Sorry Rafe; no can do. I do know someone from my former squad that may be able to help us though.

Rafe sighs.

Rafe: If you think this guy can help then you better hurry up and get him, there’s no telling when the killer will strike next.

Ed nods once again as he begins towards the door.

Ed: Keep working. We will crack this.

Salem Park

Ben Weston is walking through the park, presumably on the way to the Horton House when he is punched hard in the face and is knocked off his feet by…Chad DiMera.

Chad: YOU SON OF A BITCH!

Chad pounces on Ben and the two begin fighting. Chad wails away on Ben, bloodying his face until he is pulled off by Ben’s father, Clyde Weston who tosses him aside. Ben holds his jaw as he slowly gets to his feet.

Clyde: What the hell do you think you’re doing?

Chad: Your no good for nothing son Ben is trying to get Abigail Devereaux away from me by killing people and I’m not going to stand for it anymore!

Clyde: What the hell are you are you talking about.

Ben: You are a crazy person and you should still be in prison!

Clyde: Come on Ben, I’m sure the police would love to know that Chad DiMera just assaulted you.

Ben and Clyde both chuckle as Chad looks extremely angry. The two walk away as Chad walks the other direction.

Chad: Ben’s going to pay.

Desert Island

A POV of a man running through the woods, breathing heavy and it is revealed to be none other than…Bo Brady.

It is interesting to see Julie being the difficult one, it should make for a good confrontation with her and Doug

Salem Cemetery

Salem’s most recognizable citizens ranging from Abigail and JJ Devereaux to Abe Carver to John Black are sitting around a gravesite; however, Eric Brady is noticeably absent. Father Neal stands by a casket which has a photograph of Jennifer Horton sitting on top.

Father Neal: We are gathered here today to mourn the loss and celebrate the life of one of Salem’s most beloved citizens, Jennifer Horton.

We get a time lapse of the ceremony which culminates with the funeral goers placing flowers on top of Jennifer’s casket. Abigail and JJ linger behind after most have already left. Steve Johnson and Kayla Brady approach them.

Steve: This was a beautiful ceremony; I think Jennifer would have loved it.

Abigail and JJ both nod.

Kayla: So we were thinking.

JJ: What were you two thinking about?

Kayla: We want to help you two; whether it is moving into the house temporarily or you coming to live with us.

Abigail looks to JJ, as he now is the only one living in the house due to Abigail living with Ben.

JJ: That would uh…be great. That would be great Uncle Steve and Aunt Kayla.

Steve and Kayla smile and the four hug one another as the camera focuses on the photograph of Jennifer.

Salem Police Headquarters

Ed Watson is conferring with one of his officers when Clyde Weston bursts through the doors. Ed looks up at him.

Ed: Excuse me, sir. What’s the matter?

Clyde: Who the hell are you? Where’s Roman Brady?

Ed: Roman Brady has been taken off the force until this Necktie Killer situation is finished. Do you have any information on that?

Clyde: As a matter of fact, yes I do.

Ed nods.

Ed: Follow me.

Ed leads Clyde into the briefing room where he sits down.

Ed: Have a seat.

Clyde nods and sits down opposite of Ed.

Ed: So what’s this information?

Clyde: Well I know this may be hard to believe but I saw someone with Jennifer the day she was murdered.

Ed looks intrigued.

Ed: And who would that be?

Clyde: I’m certain it was Stefano DiMera! I’m one hundred percent sure, there’s no way it could have been anyone else.

Ed: How sure are you?

Clyde: Damnit! Didn’t you hear me?! I said that I’m one hundred percent sure and if it wasn’t Stefano then may God strike me dead in this seat!

Ed nods.

Ed: Thank you for this information, could I have your name.

Clyde: I’d prefer to remain anonymous.

Ed nods and Clyde gets up and quickly exits, brushing past Rafe Hernandez as he enters the room.

Rafe: What was Clyde Weston doing here?

Ed sighs.

Ed: Giving us a clue.

Rafe looks intrigued as he sits down.

Deserted Island

Bo Brady sits on a rock, breathing heavily. His shirt is ripped and there are holes in his jeans and he has no shoes on. He pulls something out of his pocket and it’s revealed to be a radio.

Bo [to himself]: Andre wouldn’t leave a non-working radio there.

Bo turns it on and it seems to be working.

Bo [into radio]: Hello? Can anyone hear me? This is Bo Brady and I was kidnapped by the DiMera family…

John and Marlena’s Penthouse

John Black is sitting on the couch listening to a ham radio when a voice crackles over it…John turns it up and messes with the frequency a bit and hears the words “Bo Brady” and “DiMera”. John’s eyes go wide and he gasps.

John: Bo…

I'm glad Steve and Kayla are looking out for JJ unlike on the real show!

Clyde is an idiot. Lol at Eds comment that he was leaving a clue.

John and Marlena’s Penthouse

John Black is shocked about what he heard on his radio and he picks up the receiver.

John: Bo Brady, this is John Black. Do you copy?

There is nothing but static and John looks dejected but grabs his cellphone and dials the number for Steve Johnson.

Kiriakis Mansion

Victor Kiriakis is sitting in his living room reading the news on an iPad when there’s a knock at the door. He gets up and approaches the door and he opens it to reveal Xander Kiriakis with a huge smirk on his face.

Victor: What the hell are you doing here?

Xander: You know damn right old man! You tried to send me to prison but it didn’t work out the way you had imagined.

Victor: You get the hell out before I call security and make sure they escort you back to whatever prison cell you were residing in!

Xander: Oh Uncle Vic, you underestimate me. You think that I’m stupid enough to come here alone so that you can make something up like I attacked you so you can send me back to prison? Give me some credit.

Victor looks intrigued.

Victor: What are you talking about?

Suddenly, Titus Kiriakis enters the shot and Victor’s eyes nearly bulge out of his head.

Titus: Hello, brother.

Victor: You were dead! I saw it with my own two eyes!

Titus: Of course you did because you were the one that shot me! Little did you know, Antonia found me and nursed me back to health.

Victor: You son of a bitch! How dare you come back to Salem!

Titus: Brother, my son was in trouble and you expected me to just sit in my little house in Greece and not come help him? You know what father said about family.

Victor: You two need to get the hell out of my house, right now!

Henderson walks in upon hearing all the commotion.

Henderson: Sir, what is th-

Xander: You shut your mouth, Henderson. This doesn’t concern you!

Henderson: Don’t you dare talk to me like that; I’ll be phoning the police sir.

Victor nods as Henderson goes to leave.

Titus: That won’t be necessary, we were just leaving actually.

Titus winks at Victor.

Titus: But just watch your back, brother.

Titus and Xander exit the Kiriakis mansion and Victor sighs and flops back onto the sofa.

Ben and Abigail’s Apartment

Ben Weston sits at the table when his fiancé Abigail Devereaux enters the apartment, still looking dishevelled. Ben smiles at her as she flops down on the bed.

Ben: Abby, you’re so beautiful.

Abigail has no response as Ben stands up and sits down beside her.

Ben: Abby, I have something for you.

Abigail sits up and looks at him.

Abigail: What is it?

Ben reaches into his pocket and pulls out a jewellery box and hands it to Abigail. She opens it and smiles brightly.

Abigail: Where did you find this?

Ben: It was at a yard sale, I thought it was s-

Abigail: Ben, this was my great-grandmother Alice’s necklace…Thank you, Ben. I love you.

Ben and Abigail embrace as tears streak down her face.

DiMera Mansion

Stefano DiMera and Andre DiMera are sat in the living room.

Stefano: Have they caught that damned Bo Brady yet?

Andre: Father, I’m afraid not. He stole one of our radios as he was leaving.

Stefano: Damnit Andre!

Andre: Father, I promise you that we will capture Bo Brady once again and we will never have to worry about that man again because he will be DEAD!

Stefano chuckles as Chad DiMera bursts into the room.

Stefano: Ah, Chad! Finally decided to come back to your dear old dad did you?

Chad: Shut it. I need help with getting rid of someone.

Andre: Well then you came to the right place.

Andre and Stefano both begin laughing.

Horton Square

Eric Brady is walking through Horton Square when Eve Donovan sees him. She rushes over to him and taps him on the shoulder and he turns around. His hair is unkempt and eyes bloodshot.

Eric: What?

Eve: I heard you’re looking for models for a photoshoot you’re doing about Salem?

Eric sighs.

Eric: I’m not a photographer anymore. Now leave me the hell alone, Eve.

Eve: Eric, you’re such a great photographer! Why would you want to give it up?

Eric: I said LEAVE ME ALONE!

Eric storms off leaving Eve looking shocked. Eve grabs her cellphone and makes a phonecall to someone.

Eve [into phone]: Yeah, he’s turning into such a psycho, wouldn’t surprise me if he really was the Necktie Killer.

Eve walks off still chatting on the phone as Eric is seen listening from afar.

As for Chad going to Stefano, he may regret it but at least we get to see the revenge we didn't get with Clyde

I am so Happy John and Steve will be on the case together for Bo's rescue

DiMera Mansion

Stefano, Andre and Chad DiMera are all present.

Stefano: Andre, my son. I would like to speak with Chad alone.

Andre: Of course, father.

Andre exits the room as Stefano stands up from his chair.

Stefano: Chad, just a few days ago you came in here yelling and screaming at how I set you up for those murders and now all of a sudden you want my help?

Chad: While I still believe you set me up, I need to get rid of Ben and Clyde Weston.

Stefano just chuckles at Clyde’s name.

Stefano: Don’t you worry my son. We will put those two down like the dogs that they are. Clyde believes that he runs Salem but he is sorely mistaken.

Stefano chuckles again.

Chad: So what’s the plan?

Stefano: Ah, have a seat my son.

Stefano and Chad both sit down and begin discussing the plans to take out the Westons.

Salem Police Headquarters

Ed Watson enters the briefing room where Rafe Hernandez is. An unknown man is standing with Ed and Rafe immediately recognizes him.

Ed: Looks like we’ve got another Ed on the force, Rafe, meet Eduardo Larson.

Eduardo extends his hand and Rafe shakes it, both men eying one another.

Eduardo: Nice to meet you, Rafe.

Rafe nods.

Rafe: Ed, can you give us a minute.

Ed: Certainly.

Ed exits the room leaving Eduardo and Rafe alone in the briefing room.

Rafe: What the hell are you doing here?

Eduardo: I was brought here to find the Necktie Killer!

Rafe: You knew that Gabi and I were here…Gabi doesn’t even remember you so you better leave her the hell alone!

Eduardo: She is my daughter and if I want to introduce myself to her, I will!

Rafe: This is a conflict of interest; I’m going to see Watson about this.

Eduardo: You’re going to regret this Rafe; I’ve solved more murder cases than you’ve solved petty theft cases! Don’t you want to know who killed Serena Mason and Jennifer Horton?

Rafe, who was about to exit the room, stops and turns back to face Eduardo.

Rafe: You crack this case and then you leave Salem…got it?

Eduardo nods and Rafe exits the room as Eduardo just smirks to himself.

Club TBD

Eve and Theresa Donovan are sitting with one another, having a drink.

Eve: Yeah, he just flew off the handle at me when I asked him if he could use a model for his photoshoot.

Theresa: He’s always been a little strange, especially after he lost his Priesthood.

Eve: It’s kind of terrifying really. Two women have been murdered and the psychopath is still on the loose.

Theresa: I wouldn’t worry about it; Salem PD seems to know what they’re doing.

Eve: Roman and Hope Brady were just yanked off the case Theresa. I’m scared that this psycho is going to strike again.

Theresa: You can come stay with me if you don’t feel safe.

Eve: No, I need to stay with Paige. I fear for her safety too.

Eve and Theresa continue their conversation as Eric Brady is seen listening from across the club.

Hope’s House

Hope Brady and Aiden Jennings sit at their kitchen table with papers strewn about. There is a laptop open on the table.

Aiden: So we’re aiming for the Bicentennial for our wedding?

Hope: Yes, I want this to be a very special and bright day for the family after Jen’s death.

Aiden nods and there’s a knock at the door. Hope gets up, grabs her mug of coffee and answers the door. John Black is standing with a frazzled look on his face.

Hope: What is it, John?

John: It’s Bo. He was kidnapped by the DiMeras. We have to find him.

Hope drops her coffee mug and it shatters on the ground.

Eduardo is up to something or so it seems

what I love most about John being the one to figure out Bo was kidnapped and the way you have written this is that he is going to the right people, not Caroline who has no memory or credibility
it also creates a drama in the fact that she's planning her wedding to Aiden, that's a proper soap script

I can't wait to see what Stefano has in store for Clyde and Ben

Hope’s House

Hope Brady is in shock at what John Black just told her.

Hope: What…what do you mean?

John: I heard Bo on my radio. He said something about the DiMeras.

Hope: You talked to him?

John shakes his head no.

John: I tried but he didn’t respond.

Hope: John…

Hope breaks down crying as John console her. Aiden Jennings hears the commotion and walks out of the kitchen to see John embracing Hope.

Aiden: What the hell is going on?

John: It’s Bo. We found him.

John eyes Aiden as he looks somewhat concerned.

Aiden: Bo Brady?

John: What other Bo is there?

Aiden just looks at the ground.

Salem Park

Clyde Weston is walking through the park when a man runs into him.

Clyde: Watch where you’re going, son.

The man just laughs and we hear another, much more familiar laugh and Stefano DiMera walks out of the shadows with a gun in his hand.

Stefano: We meet again, Mr. Weston.

Clyde looks down at the gun and swallows hard.

Clyde: What the hell do you want DiMera?

Stefano: You really don’t know?

Clyde: Why do you think I asked you old buffoon!

Stefano: Mr. Weston, you best watch your tone. I have a gun and it is pointed directly at you in case you weren’t aware!

Clyde: Oh give it a rest.

Suddenly a gun clicks behind Stefano and it is revealed to be Ben Weston.

Clyde: You shoot me, he shoots you. It’s very simple really.

Stefano just smirks.

Clyde: I wouldn’t smirk if I were you DiMera. You’ll be dead in five minutes and we’ll make it look like a robbery, just like we did with your damn son EJ!

Stefano is enraged and he pulls the trigger numerous times as bullets unload into Clyde’s chest and stomach. Ben is about to pull the trigger on his gun when Chad DiMera tackles him to the ground. Clyde falls to the ground, blood staining his shirt from several bullet holes in his chest and stomach. Ben screams out as Chad has him subdued. Stefano turns to Ben and points his gun at him before laughing.

Stefano: Not that easy.

Stefano laughs and puts the gun away as Chad muscles Ben up off the ground. Clyde breathing is extremely laboured as it cuts away before we see what happens to him.

Eve’s Apartment

Eve Donovan is listening to music in her living room when there’s a knock at the door. She opens it and a man in black clothing is standing with a look of rage in his eyes as he forces his way inside.

Eve: What the hell are you doing!?!?!

The man pulls a red necktie out of his back pocket and shoves Eve to the ground and begins choking her with it. Eve struggles to breathe and is fading quickly until Paige Larson arrives home. She screams up seeing what is going on and the man with the necktie sees her and immediately jumps off Eve and rushes out of the apartment shoving Paige to the side. Paige immediately begins checking on her mother and calls 911.

Horton Square

Eric Brady is seen sprinting through Horton Square wearing black pants. He runs into Rafe and nearly bowls him over.

Rafe: Woah, Eric. Watch out!

Eric: You watch out!

Eric shoves Rafe to the side and continues running.
