Loved the JJ and Paige scene. I hope she can forgive him somehow.

Not sure how I feel about Jennifer calling Eric's mom because she didn't like how he treated her. I will excuse it because Marlena is a psychiatrist and should be able to help Eric sort through his emotions.

Paige Larson and JJ Devereaux are present. Paige pulls back from the kiss from JJ.

Paige: I’ll talk to you later.

Paige walks off as fast as she possibly can as JJ is left looking dumfounded.

Brady Pub

Abigail Devereaux is sitting at a table reading about the murder of Serena Mason on her iPad and Ben Weston enters and sees her. He walks over and sits down across from her. She looks up and sees him.

Abigail: Ben, I don’t want to talk to you right now.

Ben: Can you just listen to me for 5 seconds?

Abigail sighs and turns her iPad off and places it down on the table.

Abigail: What do you want?

Ben: Abby, I want to apologize for what I did the other day.

Abigail’s face softens.

Ben: I think it would be best for our baby if we got back together.

Abigail: Well, the only way I can see that happening is if you go see Marlena or someone to get help with your anger issues.

Ben chuckles a bit, seeming uneasy.

Ben: And who told you to say that?

Abigail: Nobody? It’s a legitimate problem that you have Ben.

Ben: I’m past that Abby; can’t you realize that I really do love you?

Abigail looks uncertain as she begins getting up from the table.

Ben: Abby, please!

Ben is sounding desperate at this point.

Abigail: Until you get help with your anger issues, I’ll be at my mother’s!

Abigail storms out of the Brady Pub as Ben looks angry.

Ben [whispering to himself]: That damn Jennifer Horton.

Salem PD Headquarters – Briefing Room

Hope Brady and Rafe Hernandez are in the briefing room going over the facts of the case.

Hope: So as far as we know, Chad has no alibi, he was last seen with the victim leaving TBD and his DNA was found near her body?

Rafe: Exactly. This isn’t looking good for Chad but I really don’t believe that he killed her.

Hope: I don’t think he did either. But with the way the evidence is looking, it’s not looking good for him.

Clapping is heard as Justin Kiriakis enters the shot.

Justin: Exactly what I wanted to hear. Finally Salem’s Finest is doing their jobs!

Rafe: What do you want now, Justin?

Justin: Rafe, you know exactly what I want and it seems like you two are finally cluing in to the fact that Chad DiMera needs to be behind bars.

Hope: Justin, you need to stop interfering in an active investigation.

Justin: Hope, I am the District Attorney! I have every right to interfere with anything that I want! Chad DiMera is guilty and that is that!

Roman (off-screen): That’s enough!

Roman Brady enters the scene not looking very happy.

Roman: Justin, you need to get the hell out of here. You’re not doing anything to help this case so you need to leave…now!

Justin: You will regret this when another person winds up dead!

Justin walks out of the room slamming the door behind him.

Roman: We need to get a move on in the case. Justin is the kind of guy that would go to the press just to slander us.

Hope: Don’t you worry, Roman. Justin’s not getting anywhere near the press! We hope to have an arrest made within the next couple of days.

Club TBD

Chad DiMera enters and immediately sees Will Horton sitting, having a drink waiting for him. Chad sits down next to him.

Chad: Hey Will, thanks for seeing me.

Will: It’s not a problem at all, Chad. Anything for a friend, now what is it that you need?

Chad: You’re into investigative journalism right?

Will: Yes I am.

Chad: Great, I need your help.

Will: Does this have anything to do with the murder of Serena Mason?

Chad nods.

Will: You should really go to the police with this.

Chad: Will, I need help finding an alibi. I think time’s running out.

Will looks grim as Chad’s face has a pleading look on it.

Will: Okay, where should we start?

Chad smiles at the fact that Will is going to help him.

Uh oh. I'm a bit worried about Jen now. I hope Ben doesn't have a necktie with her name on it!

I really really like Chad and Will working together.

Justin is just as arrogant and obnoxious as always. He can go away any time now. LOL

truth is the way Abby is standing up to him the way she should have is better soap story then what we saw and good cliff hanger about him targeting Jennifer

I like the twist of Chad getting Will to help with the alibi

I also enjoyed Roman kicking Justin out

LOL at Justin saying "I am the District Attorney." That is his mantra. I fear that his statement to Roman about another killing will be prophetic, especially when Will becomes a victim.

Salem Police Headquarters – Commissioner’s Office

Roman Brady is sitting at his desk as he awaits Rafe Hernandez and Hope Brady who enter shortly afterwards and sit down.

Rafe: You said you found a key piece of evidence?

Roman: I did. Forensics ran the tie again and found something.

Hope: What is it?

Roman: Chad. Chad killed Serena Mason.

Rafe and Hope both look shocked.

Rafe: What do you mean? You have to give us more info than that!

Roman: They found DNA from Chad on the tie.

Hope: How the hell did they miss this the first time?

Roman: That’s something that I don’t know. But this means we have to arrest Chad. We have no choice.

Rafe: Damnit!

Hope: You heard him, Rafe. Let’s go.

Rafe reluctantly gets up to leave with Hope and she exits first as Rafe lags behind.

Roman: Rafe...

Rafe turns around.

Roman: I don’t think he did it either.

Rafe nods and follows after Hope.

Salem Law Courts – Courtroom

Xander Kiriakis sits in his seat at the front of the courtroom as his attorney Aiden Jennings enters.

Aiden [whispering]: The judge will be here any moment.

Sherriff: All rise.

Everyone in the courtroom rises as Judge Melvin enters the courtroom and takes his seat.

Judge Melvin: You may be seated.

Everyone sits down as Judge Melvin looks at the papers in the folder he was given by the Sherriff.

Judge Melvin: Alexandros Kiriakis. Is that you son?

Xander looks up from looking at his feet.

Xander: My name is Xander!

Judge Melvin looks surprised by Xander’s little outburst.

Judge Melvin: I’d watch your tone if I were you, Xander. You are here because you’re being charged with attempted murder and sexual assault. Do you eve realize how serious these charges are?

Aiden: If I may speak for my client, your honor.

Judge Melvin: No you may not.

Aiden nods and sits back down.

Judge Melvin: Now, Xander. Do you understand what I’m saying to you?

Xander just stares ahead without saying a word.

Judge Melvin: Son, if you do not answer me I will throw this case out faster than you can say not guilty and you will go to prison for the rest of your life.

Xander looks very angry and stands up.

Xander: You honor, I’d respectfully like to ask you to stop patronizing me. I know exactly what I’m here for and I am not guilty!

Judge Melvin: Alright, thank you for answering me. Now, Mr. Jennings, how does your client plead?

Xander: I just told you! I am not guilty!

Judge Melvin bangs the gavel.

Judge Melvin: That’s enough! I will not have you in here interrupting the proceedings, your own proceedings! I will hold you in contempt of court and that’ll be just another charge added on to your list.

Aiden manages to get Xander to sit down and shut up.

Aiden: Permission to approach the bench your honor?

Judge Melvin: Permission granted.

Aiden nods and approaches Judge Melvin, who at this point looks very frustrated.

Judge Melvin: What is it?

Aiden: Your honor, my client is very clearly not in his right mind.

Judge Melvin: He seems quite fine to me. Is this just an excuse for his outbursts?

Aiden: Your honor. There is absolutely no way that my client committed these crimes and I am asking…no I am pleading with you to grant him bail.

Judge Melvin: You know what, Mr. Jennings. Your client is a known diamond smuggler who decided to come and wreak havoc on Salem with his dastardly deeds and it’s going to be up to a jury as to whether or not your client committed these crimes.

Aiden looks worried for Xander.

Aiden: What about bail?

Judge Melvin: The only way that I will grant Mr. Kiriakis bail is if he checks in with me daily and surrenders his passport to the court.

Aiden looks relieved.

Aiden: I think I can convince him to do that.

Judge Melvin: Don’t look so relieved. It’s not over, Mr. Jennings. Now go sit back down.

Aiden nods and looks worried as he walks back to sit beside Xander.

Horton Square

Chad DiMera and Will Horton sit at a table drinking coffee. Will has his laptop out and is researching something.

Will: So you say you were at TBD and that was the last thing you remember?

Chad: Exactly. I don’t remember anything after having the first drink.

Will: Well the only thing I can find is something called mitocondrin. It’s a memory erasing drug but the only place where it’s been seen is in Italy.

Chad: My father.

Suddenly, Hope Brady and Rafe Hernandez enter the square and approach the two.

Hope: Chad DiMera, you are under arrest for the murder of Serena Mason.

Chad looks shocked.

Chad: What? What do you mean?

Rafe: Put your hands behind your back.

Chad reluctantly gets up from the table as Rafe places handcuffs on him. Will stands up in protest.

Will: Chad didn’t do anything wrong!

Hope: Will, I’m sorry.

Rafe and Hope haul Chad off as Will looks on, devastated.

Uh oh! Well at least Will is on the case! I'm glad Roman doesn't believe Chad is guilty either.

I like Judge Melvin. I wish he would have let Aiden do all the talking like he's supposed to though. Xander seems to be talking himself into a jail cell. LOL

Salem University Hospital – Marlena’s Office

Jennifer Horton is sitting in the chair across from Marlena Evans.

Marlena: So Eric just flew off the handle because you bumped into him and spilled his coffee?

Jennifer: That’s exactly what happened. I’m really concerned for him, Marlena. He’s been through so much the past year.

Marlena nods.

Marlena: I think I can handle it.

Jennifer nods and goes to get up to leave when the door to the office flies open and Eric Brady is seen. He sees Jennifer and immediately gets angered.

Eric: What the hell are you doing here!?

Jennifer: I just want to help you, Eric.

Eric: No! You need to leave me alone! First you spill my coffee and now you’re harassing me!

Marlena stands up and approaches.

Marlena: Honey, Jennifer is just tr-

Eric: Shut it!

Marlena is taken aback by her son’s outburst.

Eric: I’ve been treated like crap for the past 2 years by women just like you Jennifer! Kristen, Nicole, Serena and now you! What have I done to deserve this!?!

Jennifer and Marlena are in awe of Eric’s meltdown.

Jennifer: I’m…sorry…

Eric: Sorry just won’t cut it this time!

Eric storms off as Jennifer and Marlena look at one another, somewhat terrified.

Eve and Paige’s Apartment

Paige Larson sits at her kitchen table stirring her cereal around with a spoon when her mother, Eve Donovan exits her bedroom.

Eve: What’s the matter, sweetheart?

Paige: It’s nothing.

Eve: Now, Paige, I know when something is up with my beautiful daughter.

Paige: Mom, I said it was nothing.

Eve: Is it that damn JJ Devereaux?

Paige: Mom, I’m not going to talk about JJ with you. You ruined my relationship with him.

Eve: He’s not good enough for you anyway!

Paige stands up from the table and grabs her jacket.

Eve: Where are you going?

Paige: Oh don’t worry mom I’m not going to see that damn JJ Devereaux!

Paige storms out leaving Eve bewildered.

Salem PD Headquarters – Commissioner’s Office

Roman Brady is in his office filling out paperwork about the arrest of Chad DiMera when there’s a knock at the door.

Roman: Come in!

The door opens and Roman’s grandson, Will Horton enters much to Roman’s delight.

Roman: Will! How are you?

Will: I’m alright, grandpa. But there’s something I need to talk to you about.

Roman: Have a seat.

Will sits down across from Roman.

Roman: What is it Will?

Will: It’s about Chad.

Roman perks up at the mention of Chad DiMera’s name.

Roman: What about him?

Will: Well, you know how Chad said that he can’t remember anything after he took the first drink?

Roman: Yes. What about that?

Will: Well I was doing some research and there is apparently a drug called mitocondrin that can erase someone’s memory for a certain time period.

Roman looks very intrigued.

Will: And the only place you can get it is…Italy.

Roman: Stefano…

Will nods.

Roman: Thank you for bringing this to my attention, Will. You’re a good man for helping out your friend.

Will: I don’t want to see Chad in jail for something he didn’t do.

Roman: I’ll take this to the detectives as soon as possible so we can begin investigating what this drug really.

Will: Thank you grandpa.

Will gets up and is about to leave.

Roman: Will, one more thing.

Will turns around and Roman gives him a hug.

Roman: You’re a good kid.

Will smiles and walks out as Roman gets back to work.

What a sweet scene between Will and Roman! I hope Roman gets to the bottom of things before something happens to Will.

Eric appears to be having a nervous breakdown. Hope someone does something.

I wonder where Paige is going. I'm glad she stood up to Eve.

Paige Larson enters the club when she sees JJ Devereaux sitting at one of the tables. She looks nervous as she approaches him.

Paige: JJ?

JJ turns around and smiles at her.

JJ: So you decided that you wanted to see me?

Paige smirks and sits down.

Paige: You wouldn’t stop pestering me and after that display the other night, I really couldn’t turn it down. My mother doesn’t know I’m here though.

JJ: Oh, don’t worry about her.

Paige: I’m not, JJ.

JJ: I’m so sorry for what I’ve done in the past but I hope that we can move past it and…

Paige: JJ…stop. I forgive you.

JJ smiles at her.

JJ: Are you sure?

Paige: Yes. Of course I do, I love you.

JJ: And I love you.

Tad Stevens approaches the two with a goofy grin on his face.

Tad: So I see you two love birds are back together?

Paige: Were we ever really apart?

Tad: Well I mean, for a second there.

JJ playfully punches Tad in the shoulder.

JJ: Some drin-

Paige: JJ, we aren’t 21.

JJ: Soda it is!

The three laugh as Tad walks off to get some sodas.

Salem Law Courts – Holding Room

Xander Kiriakis is sitting in the chair with his hands cuffed when his attorney Aiden Jennings enters.

Xander: So?

Aiden: You have to give up your passport and check in with Judge Melvin every day.

Xander looks a bit angry.

Xander: You said you could get me off, Aiden!

Aiden: Xander, you’re able to walk on bail right now. If you don’t want to you can sit in the jail cell until your trial!

Xander stands up; hands still cuffed looking extremely angry at this point.

Xander: YOU SAID YOU’D GET ME OFF!

The door opens and the Sheriff steps in and Xander notices him.

Xander: Piss off!

Aiden: You really must want to stay in prison don’t you?

The Sheriff has a tazer drawn; preparing to put Xander down should he get too unruly.

Aiden: Xander, this could be your only shot.

Xander sits back down; calming himself.

Aiden: So Xander, are you willing to give up your passport and check in with Judge Melvin every day?

Xander: I suppose so.

Aiden nods.

Aiden: I’ll let him know.

The Sheriff places the tazer back in its holster and proceeds out of the room and Aiden follows after him to speak with Judge Melvin.

Salem University Hospital

Abigail Devereaux is walking down a hallway when she seems a man wearing black exiting an office and walking further down the hallway, she doesn’t think too much of it. She approaches an office where the name reads “Jennifer Horton”, it’s slightly ajar which Abigail finds strange.

Abigail: Mom?

Abigail pushes the door open and her eyes go wide when she enters. It is revealed that Jennifer Horton is in her chair, a red necktie around her neck…dead. She begins screaming and crying hysterically.

Abigail: WE NEED HELP IN HERE!

Abigail continues to scream as she cradles her mother’s limp body.

Oh no! I knew it would happen!

So glad JJ and Paige are back together, hopefully he won't somehow get accused of killing his own mother now.

At least Xander has an alibi... Lol
