I agree wendylou. He looks good. The commercials make no sense to me. I guess if it's just a matter of drawing attention to a dull old brand, then it accomplishes its goal. |

Found two new ones. Both from AT&T.
The first one is the guy selling AT&T claiming they dropped the name U-Verse (they didn't, really) and then proceeds to use not one, but two ventriloquist dummies, the second of which suggests that if he's not happy with his service, they could stick him with a dish. I'm sorry, but this dude's voices for the two dummies is horrible! Especially the second one! You can even see his lips moving. It's just annoying, more than anything.
Now the second one I REALLY hate! It starts off with some guy crying about how high his internet bill is. Then it flashes forward a few minutes, and he's locked the door and is telling the mailman that they don't want anymore. Then, it flashes forward to a few minutes later yet, and he is hysterically sobbing in the bathroom. Seriously, this dude is literally in hysterics because of a freakin' internet bill?! That's just ridiculous! The commercial is just terrible!
So in conclusion, these two commercials suck.

The AT&T commercial that makes no sense is the one where no one knows more about "AND" than AT AND T. Um. What?

Stupid commercial is the elementary school teacher looking up booking.com while her students are doing everything possibly bad in the classroom such as 2 boys in the fish tank and such. Truly the world's worst schoolteacher.

There's some yogurt commercial, not sure of the brand b/c I try really hard to not pay attention, where two women are in a car. One is eating yogurt and they just have this conversation where they go, "Protein." "Protein protein protein."
I HAAAAAAATE it!
BTW, as I was typing this a commercial that I actually like came on - that gummi bear commercial where the adults are sitting in a conference room talking about their gummi bears and they have kids voices and say "kiddy" things. It's silly but it makes me laugh.

I have a couple of them.
Marie Osmond, how is she still relevant? In the 70's her and her wimpy brother had a crappy TV show and made a couple of crappy records. That was 40 years ago! Plus I think she looked better "built for comfort", rather than her current "built for speed" look. But that is just personal preference.
The "cutting edge" medications that have a speed talker that spends half of the air time telling all of the disclaimers and side effects.
On a happier note, I like the Charmin commercial with the bears, when one of the little bears calls his buddy "Skids"

The medication commercials are awful. When I worked at an outpatient mental health center patients would come in asking for medications that they saw on TV. In almost every case the patient didn't have the condition that the medication is intended for.

Just saw a new annoying commercial. An undercover is sitting in the back seat of some mobsters' car. One of the mobsters pulls the guy's fake mustache off and demands he explain himself. The man says that you can save money on car insurance with GEICO and the mobster says, "Why didn't you say so? I thought you were wearing a wire!" and everyone laughs.
Unfortunately it's one of the commercials sponsoring TNT's live feed so I've seen it about 10 times while watching the first half of Major Crimes tonight.

I am so sick of this Dominoes pizza insurance commercial. I can't believe it's May and they're still running this winter commercial. Okay, I know we had an unusually cold snowy winter, but this is ridiculous. Plus, the commercial never made sense to me because how often would anyone need to take advantage of pizza insurance. I mean really. This is what they highlight? How about a message featuring fresh delicious pizza instead? It always struck me as odd.

Here's another commercial I find offensive. It's for Summer's Eve and shows a man accidentally using it in the shower and having to prove he's manly as result. It feels so off-topic and grates on my nerves. I can't stand the woman's voice either. Gives me chills just thinking about it.

I hate the car commercial that shows newly dating couples which car they should get when they move in together, when they have pets, when they have kids, etc.
