I can understand Philip pushing Chloe away. Chloe is in essence unaffected by this news. She is Parker's mom. Nothing will change that unless they do a paternity on her and learn that she was impregnated with someone else's embryo. She's not losing Parker or any decision making regarding his welfare & future. Philip & Chloe are not married. PHilip has not "legally" adopted Parker. He just lost any and all authority he had over that child's life. Yes, it takes more than sperm to be a dad, it's also a blow to a man's ego to find out that his namesake isn't really his. Regardless of whether they admit it or not wants to pass on the family heritage to a son. Philip was doing that plus making up for mistakes with Pocket and Claire and now he feels that it has been for nothing. Plus if Daniel decides to whisk Parker away or fight for full custody of him, there's nothing Philip can do to stop him. And that hurts and scares Philip the most - being powerless.

Philip and Chloe are engaged. So it does affect her a lot if he decides he doesn't want to marry her anymore. She wouldn't lose her child but she would lose everything else in her life.

I was speaking more from where I see Philip's line of thinking at the moment. To me, it doesn't seem that he's thinking about the future in terms of him & Chloe. He's thinking solely about his future in terms of him & Parker.

Chapter 9, Part 1
The next morning, Chloe was in Parker’s room packing his clothes and favorite toys when Philip entered the room. He had shaven and was dressed in a shirt and tie. Chloe did a double take. This was the first time in days he was up and dressed. Except for the deathly serious look on his face, he almost looked like his normal self.
“Philip. You’re all dressed and clean-shaven. Are you going to the office?”
Philip shook his head no. “I’m driving you and Parker to Salem. You’re right. Daniel needs to know. He has a right to know.”

Chloe tried repeatedly to get Philip to talk to her on the long drive back to Salem, but he kept shutting her down, telling her in no uncertain terms that he doesn’t want to talk. At all.
He would have let them make their own way to Salem except for one thing. Philip wanted as much time with Parker as possible. He couldn’t just let him walk out of the condo and out of his life. By driving them to Salem, he was buying time.
Finally, they arrived at the mansion and were greeted by Victor.
“Philip! Parker! What a wonderful surprise! ... And ahem, Chloe. I’m afraid I can’t say the same for you.” Victor turned his attention to Parker. “Let me see my grandson.”
“Grampa!” Victor reached out to Parker, but Philip continued to bounce him in his arms, not willing to relinquish his hold on the boy.
“Where’s Maggie?” Philip asked his father.
“She’s at the beauty parlor. She should be home soon. How long are you staying?”
Philip glanced at Chloe and his heart constricted. He knew he was looking at her for the last time. “I’m going to take Parker upstairs. ... Dad, why don’t you come up with us. I need to talk to you.”
Chloe watched Philip climb the stairs with Parker in his arms. “Philip, wait.”

Philip is treating Chloe just like Daniel did... throwing her and Parker out of his home and his life. So very sad for all three of them.
Victor won't lose Parker. But that makes things trickier for Philip since Parker is still part of Victor's family.
