Daniel is seated at a table and Chloe is pacing.
Chloe: Where is he? I’m starting to feel like this is a prank.
Daniel: It’s not. At least I don’t think it is.
Chloe: Has he said anything about the baby? If Philip is alive, it has to mean Wesley is too.
Daniel: Don’t forget. He has amnesia.
Melanie and Philip walk into the pub. Chloe sees Philip and freezes in her tracks. Philip’s eyes meet hers and they stare at each other. Chloe’s feet move her toward Philip and in an instant she throws her arms around him, surprising Philip. He puts his arms around her as Melanie watches intently while Daniel watches Melanie watching them.
Philip: Well it’s good to see you too.
He gently moves out of Chloe’s embrace. She continues to stare, unable to take her eyes off of him.
Daniel: Philip. Good to see you.
Daniel forces himself to extend his hand for a handshake.
Daniel: Chloe and I missed you.
Philip: I missed all of you too. Well, that is, when I wasn’t in a coma.
Chloe finds her voice.
Chloe: What happened to you? Where have you been? If you’re alive, does that mean Wesley is too?
Philip: Wesley? Oh, you must mean the pilot. I’m guessing he didn’t make it.
Daniel: Chloe, we need to give Philip some space. We shouldn’t bombard him with questions like this.
Chloe: But...
Philip pulls Melanie toward him and puts his arm around her shoulder.
Philip: All I know is that I feel like the luckiest man in the world. I have my life back. I have Melanie back. It’s like I was never gone. He kisses Melanie’s head.
Chloe looks at Melanie and Philip and knows she can’t hold back the tears. She runs to the ladies room.
Philip: Is she okay?
Daniel: I’m sure she’ll be fine. Anyway, it was good seeing you, Philip. Mel, got a minute to talk?
Melanie: Oh um, sure.
Daniel: Let’s go outside.
They leave the pub as Chloe returns. She and Philip stand there looking at each other.
