Looks like Kate & Vic erased Phil's memories back to when he was still married to Melanie...Something is strange though... wouldn't Melanie just tell him the truth and then he goes to see Chloe & eventually all works out? But? But??? BUT I have to wait until Monday?  |

SALEM PIER
Philip takes Melanie in his arms and kisses her. She pulls away.
Melanie: Philip, no.
Philip: I’m sorry. That was really thoughtless of me. I’ve just missed you like crazy. But you... you must be in shock.
Melanie: That’s um an understatement. Where have you been?
Philip: I’ve been in a coma. For months, the doctor said. I was in some sort of accident. I can’t really remember, but they said I was flying somewhere on business and the Titan jet crashed. Anyway, I was on some island off Central America and ... he looks over at Melanie who looks like she’s going to faint. I’m so sorry for putting you through this. It must have been hell for you ... thinking I died.
Melanie: Yeah. Pure um hell. Philip, there’s a lot we need to talk about.
Philip: Of course. Of course. Let’s go somewhere we can talk. Let’s go home.
Philip and Melanie are walking toward the hospital.
Melanie: Um I need to make a phonecall for a sec. I have an appointment I need to cancel. I’ll just be a second.
Melanie moves away from Philip for some privacy. She presses a speed dial key on her cell phone.
Melanie: Dad, it’s me.
Daniel: Hey kitten. What’s up?
Melanie: I have a little bit of a situation here.
Daniel: Can you speak up? I’m having a hard time hearing you.
Melanie: Can you hear me now? Is that better?
Daniel: A little better.
Melanie: Philip is alive.
Daniel: I guess I’m not hearing you any better. It sounded like you said Philip is alive.
Melanie: I did! He is!
Daniel: That ... can’t ... be.
Melanie: It ... is. Not only that, but his memory has gone haywire. He thinks we’re still married.
Daniel: Don’t let him touch you.
Melanie: What am I going to do?
Daniel: Hang on. Um ... Meet me at the pub in an hour.
Melanie: An hour??? What am I going to do with him for an hour?
She looks over at Philip who gives her a big smile. Melanie sighs.
Melanie: Nevermind. I’ll figure something out. See you in an hour.

OMG! I hope this is another story about Chloe and Philip coming together. She finds out that he is alive and she has to show him about their love again!

Victor: Dammit.
Kate: What now?
Victor: Philip left the hospital. He’s probably back in Salem by now.
Kate: Dammit.
Victor: We need to do damage control before anyone finds out he’s alive.
Kate: We need to bring him here. Now.
Victor: I’ve got some people looking for him.
Kate: If he runs into Chloe and remembers being married to her, then it will all have been for nothing.
Victor: The doctors assured me that the brainwashing worked. They kept playing audio and video of Melanie, of their wedding, of their vows, of tawdry sex in that sleazy motel.
Kate: Philip’s always been susceptible to the power of suggestion.
Victor: Thank god for that.
Kate: We’ll just have to hope for the best. We did the right thing, Victor.
Victor: I know. I just hope ...
Kate: You hope what?
Victor: I hope Maggie never finds out about my part in all this.
MAGGIE’S KITCHEN
Daniel knocks on the kitchen door.
Daniel: Hello Maggie.
Maggie: Daniel, come in.
Daniel: I need ... to talk ... to Chloe. Is she here?
Maggie: Yes, I’ll get her.
Maggie leaves and a moment later comes back to the kitchen with Chloe.
Chloe: Daniel, hi.
Maggie: I’ll leave you alone to talk.
Daniel: Maggie, wait. I’d like you to stay and hear what I have to say.
Maggie: Oh, of course. Let’s all sit down.
Daniel takes Chloe’s hand.
Daniel: I have some news for you. Honey, Philip is alive.
