PHILIP: (angrily) You're still sleeping with Nicole?!? (looks down, resigned)You shouldn't be treating Chloe like that.
BRADY: What do you care?
PHILIP: (angrily, again) Because I love her, you idiot!!

I think Philip will be a smart guy and use a bunch of double entendres and Brady will start to put 2 and 2 together and confront Philip.

VIENNA OPERA, SUNDAY EVENING

Chloe was in the makeup chair having her makeup applied for the second performance of the night. The makeup artist kept warning her to keep still, but Chloe felt like she was going to jump out of her skin. She knew that Victor and Philip would be arriving at the apartment about now.

She had read Brady the riot act yesterday for not telling her that Victor and Philip were coming to Europe. Brady got defensive, like he always did in situations like this. She knew that his memory lapses were related to his drug abuse. Hard to remember what’s going on in real life when you’re high on drugs or blacked out more than half the time. When he questioned her as to why she cared so much, she backed off. She merely said that the apartment was a mess, and she didn’t have time to cook, and he promised he’d take care of everything.

She had no idea how she was going to handle seeing Philip except that she’d have to play it cool in front of Brady. She had never been in a position like this and she found it uncomfortable as hell. In fact, she was more nervous about what was going to transpire at the apartment tonight than she was about performing in front of thousands of people. Chloe realized she was going to have to put on an act both onstage and off and she didn’t like that idea. She wondered why so many people cheated on their spouses. It definitely wasn’t how she wanted to live her life. She decided that, one way or the other, something needs to change, and soon.


BLACK APARTMENT

Victor and Philip arrived at the apartment and Brady was showing them around.

Victor: Very tasteful, Brady. Quite fitting for one of Titan’s young moguls.
Brady: Thanks Granddad. We had a professional decorator.
Victor: I approve.
Philip: Where’s Chloe?
Brady: Ah, some big shots from London are in town so there was a demand performance.
Victor: You mean a command performance?
Brady: It was more like a demand.
Philip: Chloe’s performing for the royal family? That’s impressive.
Brady: Eh. More like some distant cousins of the royals. But they think they’re hot sh!t.
Victor: Enough chit chat. Let’s get down to business. Brady, did you look at the agenda for tomorrow’s board meeting?
Brady: Yes, I did.
Victor: It’s your show. We’re on your turf, so you’ll run the meeting.
Brady: I’m good with that.
Philip: Um, listen, I left some notes at the hotel, and I’d really like to look them over. Mind if I go?
Victor: No. Go.
Brady: Will you be back in time for dinner?
Philip: Yes. What I have to do shouldn’t take more than an hour or so.

Philip hailed a cab outside the apartment building and told the driver to take him to the opera house. This was his chance. This was the chance he’d been hoping for. To see Chloe alone. To be with her after her performance, just the two of them. It won’t be long now until he’s holding her in his arms. But why did he get stuck with the slowest cab driver in all of Austria?
