SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL 3rd FLOOR NURSE’S STATION AND WAITING ROOM

Chloe: Oh Brady. You don’t even realize what you’re doing when you’re high. You almost killed me today. With that garden rake.
Brady: That’s a lie. I was just trying to scare you. I would never have used it. You know I would never hurt you.
Chloe: Yes, you would, and you did! You tried to rape me that last night in Vienna. That was the last straw. That was why I left you.
Brady: Well you deserved it, you little slut!

Those words got Philip’s full attention. He rushed at Brady, grabbed him by the back of his collar and punched his face once, twice, three and four times, before Bo and Roman pulled Philip away. Blood was oozing from Brady’s nose and lip.
Philip: You bastard! You freaking bastard! You’re a low-life drug addict who doesn’t deserve to live. I could kill you for what you did to Chloe.

Belle stood there with her mouth agape, as Chloe held her hands over her face. She never meant to say what she said out loud. She never meant to say it at all, especially in front of an audience. She buried her face in her hands, unable to watch Philip pummeling Brady, or the policemen subduing Philip, or her father’s and John’s and Victor’s reactions in the background.

Victor: What the hell is going on here?
Craig: That’s what I want to know!
John: Brady, son, are you alright?
Brady: I’m fine, Dad, just leave me alone.
John rolled up his sleeves.
John: Philip, come here a minute. I want to talk to you. In private.

Shawn emerged from a hospital room adjacent to the nurse’s station. His face was sprinkled with bandages, he was wearing a hospital gown and he was a bit groggy.

Shawn: What’s all the ruckus?
Belle: Shawn, what are you doing out of bed?

Belle went over to Shawn and put her arm around him because he appeared unsteady. He leaned into her and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
Bo: What the ....? What happened? Shawn! Who did this to you?
Belle: Shawn and Philip got into a bit of a fight this afternoon.
Bo: A fight? With who?
Belle: With each other.
Bo: Shawn, did Philip do this to you?
Shawn: Uh, yeah.

Bo looked at Philip wild-eyed and ready to pounce.
Roman: Hold on everyone! Hold on just a cotton-pickin’ minute. What do we have here?
Roman crouched down and was looking at two guns on the floor. He looked up at Philip.
Roman: Both a dese guns fell outta your coat pocket when you went after Brady.
Philip: I can explain.
Bo: You’re under arrest!
Chloe: No! Those aren’t his guns.
Victor: Bo, you can’t arrest your own brother.
Bo: Oh no? Just watch me.
Bo roughly pulled Philip by the arm and he handcuffed him. Across the room, tears sprang to Chloe’s eyes.
Bo: You have the right to remain silent.
Chloe: Philip.
Philip: It’s okay, Chloe. It’s gonna be okay.
Bo and Roman took Philip into the elevator and the doors closed.
Chloe: Victor! Do something. Help him. He’s innocent.
Belle: You wouldn’t know “innocent” if it bit you in the ass.
Chloe: Shut up, Belle. You started all this. You and Shawn, having an affair behind Philip’s back, getting pregnant with Shawn’s baby.
Belle left Shawn’s side and got in Chloe’s face.
Belle: I am so sick and tired of you acting like you’re above it all when you’re doing the exact same thing with my husband, and you’re cheating on my brother.
Chloe: Well your brother is cheating on me. With Nicole!
Belle: I don’t believe you. You’re such a lying bitch.
Chloe: Don’t you dare speak to me that way.
Belle: I’ll do whatever I damn well please.
Belle pushed Chloe. Chloe pushed her back and Belle fell to the ground. Shawn rushed to her side and kneeled down beside her as Chloe covered her mouth with her hands in horror. Belle was out cold.
Chloe: Belle! I’m sorry.
Shawn: Belle! Belle, honey, talk to me.
John: Izzy B!
Brady: Oh my god, Tink!
Craig kneeled down and checked Belle’s pulse.
Craig: Maxine! Get me a crash cart.
Maxine: Yes Dr. Wesley.

Brady grabbed Chloe’s arm.
Brady: What the hell did you do to her?
Chloe: Nothing, I didn’t mean to ...
Craig rose to his feet and pushed Brady roughly and poked his index finger into Brady’s chest.
Craig: Touch my little girl again, and you’re a dead man.
John entered the fray and poked his finger against Craig’s chest.
John: Touch my son like that again and you’ll see who the dead man turns out to be.
Craig: Didn’t you just hear what your son did to my daughter? If anyone should be arrested, it’s Brady.
Chloe stood behind Craig and held onto his shoulders. He turned around and hugged her.
Craig: It’s okay, honey. Everything is going to be okay.

What about Belle. Graig called for the crash cart when he felt for her pulse, but then did nothing else. He was more concerned about Brady and Chloe. Boy so much anger and no one feels what they did was wrong only the cheating done on them. Loving all the webs. Can't wait till tomorrow.

Wow! So much happened in that chapter. I'm glad Victor, Craig and John are involved now. Can't wait to see what happens next...hoping Belle and Nicole are okay.
