Aw, you're all so sweet to worry. Everything's fine. Just a little off schedule. Husband doesn't have to be at work until 10:00 this morning and he confiscated the computer. I guess he's entitled. Chapter 15 coming right up.

LAKE HOUSE, TWO WEEKS LATER, MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT
The phone rings and Chloe answers it groggily. Chloe: Hello Soldier. Philip: Hey baby. Do you miss me? Chloe: Like crazy. Can’t you tell from all the text messages I’ve been sending you? Philip: I like getting your texts. It’s the next best thing to being there. Chloe: Well, I’m counting the days until you are here. Philip: Me too. Did I wake you again? Chloe: That’s okay, Philip. Philip: But you need your rest. Chloe: Not as much as I need to hear your voice. [She looks over at the time on her cell phone] Let’s see. It’s 4:00 a.m. here, so that means it must be noonish where you are. Philip: That’s right. We just broke for lunch, so I grabbed the chance to call you. How do you feel? Chloe: Good. Even better now. Philip: And how about Wes and Phloe? Chloe laughed. Chloe: They’re both fine. We’re all fine. We just miss you. Philip: I miss you too, baby. I have good news. Chloe: You’re coming home? Philip: Soon. Chloe: Really? When? How soon? Philip: Within a few days. Chloe: Could you possibly be more specific? Philip: Um, no, I think I’ll surprise you. Chloe: Philip! You know I hate surprises. Philip: Aha! That’s a lie and you know it. You told me yourself that you like surprises. Chloe: When did I say that? Philip: When we were talking about whether to find out the baby’s sex before it’s born. Chloe: Damn your memory. I must have been drunk when I said that. Philip: Either way, I can hardly wait to see you again. What are you wearing? Chloe: You’re incorrigible. Philip: I’m waiting. Chloe sighs and looks down at her oversized sleep T-shirt. Chloe: I’m wearing your favorite baby doll. You know ... the one that’s sheer in all the right places and silky in all the other places. Philip: Oh man. I’m picturing it now. Chloe spoke seductively. Chloe: Okay, picture this, soldier. I’m taking it off and I’m laying on your side of the bed. And I’m cold. Philip: Oh baby, you’re killing me. Chloe: I know. Come home soon.

THE LAKE HOUSE, 5:45 p.m., THE NEXT DAY
After finishing rehearsal for the day, Chloe arrived home holding Wesley. She put him down and took off her coat.
Chloe: I have a feeling your daddy is going to surprise us tonight. I think he may be home. He was teasing me something awful on the phone last night. Then again, I was teasing him too. Chloe smiled and called out Philip’s name. Chloe: Hello? Philip? ... Hmmm. I guess not. It's a long flight from Israel, so maybe he's still en route. The phone rang and Chloe answered it. Chloe: Maybe that’s Daddy! Hello? Bo: Chloe, it’s Bo. Have you heard the news? Chloe: No, I just walked in the door, but I think I know what you’re going to say. Bo: Stay put. We’re on our way over. Chloe: We? Oh yay. I can’t wait. She hung up the phone. Looks like I was right, Wesley. Uncle Bo is bringing Daddy home from the airport. Wesley: Daddy home from airpawt. There was a noise at the door and she went to see what it was. She opened the door, expecting to see Philip, and instead she was surprised to see Brady and Nicole. Chloe: Hi. What are you two doing here? Brady: Mind if we come in? Chloe motioned for them to come in and they walked into the living room. Nicole: I don’t think she’s heard. Chloe: Heard what? What’s up? Nicole picked Wesley up and bounced him in her arms. Nicole: Hi Wesley. It’s Auntie Nicole. You are getting so big! Chloe: Heard what? Brady? Brady: We should wait until Daniel and Lucas get here. Chloe: Daniel and Lucas??? What are you talking about? Just then Lucas, Daniel, Bo and Hope walked through the front door. Chloe’s eyes widened and her heart rate quickened. She felt a wave of heat wash over her as fear took hold. Chloe: What ... what are you all doing here? Why are you looking at me like that? Brady: She hasn’t heard anything. Chloe: It’s Philip, isn’t it? Something happened to him. Don’t just stare at me. Someone, tell me! Hope: Let’s turn on the news. Chloe: Oh god. Hope walked over to Chloe and put an arm around her as Bo clicked on the television. All eyes turned toward the TV screen.
TV: Nightly News Special Report
This is Jennifer Deveraux in the Salem Nightly newsroom with breaking news on the skirmish in the Middle East. We reported several hours ago that Iran fired rockets at Israel and disrupted transportation and communication channels into and out of Israel. According to military sources, Iran is seeking to obtain the biofuel that Israel is developing so that Iran can accelerate its own nuclear weapons capabilities. Israeli leaders declined to comment, but sources close to the situation told our SNit-TV affiliate in the Middle East that developers involved with the biofuel project have been taken hostage, including Israeli scientists and members of an American military coalition spearheading the program. No word on the number of casualties. One moment... Chloe: It can’t be. No, Philip is on his way home. I’m sure of it. I spoke to him and he told me he’s coming home. Lucas: When did you talk to him? Chloe: It was ... in the middle of the night last night. Four o’clock. Bo: More than 12 hours ago. Chloe: Where’s my phone? Brady: Let’s hope he made it out. Chloe: Damn it! Where’s my phone? Chloe found her phone and dialed Philip’s number. She listened as a fast-busy signal sounded at the other end. She dropped the phone. Chloe: Oh no.
Jennifer on TV: I’ve just been handed some new information. Oh god.

Boy Kpatch you sure love to make us suffer. What a way to cut off the story for the weekend. I guess it could be worst it could be till after the olympics. What a great twist. Philip kidnapped. Just loved how everyone came to support Chloe and be with her when she found out. Can we have the next chapter later today if we are good?. If the next chapter is not possiable. previews for next week would be amazing. ( Southern Comfort and OJ can be arranged) Thanks Kpatch.
