UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Will and Mia are curious about Chad’s plan.
Will:
“What does my grandma have to do with this?”
Chad:
“She said if I ever needed anything to let her know and she can help me.”
Mia:
“But she’s married to Stefano.”
Chad:
“I know but if I’m really a DiMera, I need to find out.”
Chad pulls out his phone and calls Kate. Kate’s standing outside of the Pub when Chad calls.
Kate:
“Chad, hey what’s up?”
Chad:
“I need your help.”
Kate:
“What’s wrong?”
Chad:
“Can we meet somewhere?”
Kate:
“Sure. I’m about to go into the Pub.”
Chad:
“Great I’ll be there in a few.”
Chad and Kate hang up.
Chad:
“I’m going to meet Kate at the Pub. Later, thanks for the help.”
Chad gets on the elevator.
Mia:
“Well what do you want to do now?”
Will:
“I don’t know.”
LUCAS’ HOUSE
Sami and Lucas are in shocked.
Baker:
“EJ and Nicole are Sydney’s biological parents.”
Sami:
“That’s not true.”
Baker:
“Why not?”
Sami:
“This is all a little scheme by EJ and Nicole to get Sydney, but you know what? It’s not working.”
Baker:
“It’s the truth and I can prove it.”
Lucas:
“How?”
Baker:
“A DNA test.”
DIMERA MANSION
Nicole:
“So EJ, what is your plan to get your kids away from Sami and how am I going to help?”
EJ:
“I’m going to destroy Sami and Rafe’s relationship.”
Nicole:
“That’s it?”
EJ:
“Since you’re so good at destroying things and getting close to Rafe, I think you could be of some assistance.”
Nicole:
“Now why would I want to do this?”
EJ:
“You want Brady right?”
Nicole:
“Yeah?”
EJ:
“Well you destroy Rafe and Sami and I’ll destroy Brady and Arianna.”
Stefano listens intently.
Nicole:
“So I do your dirty work and you do my dirty work?”
EJ:
“Exactly.”
Nicole:
“And how am I supposed to do that?”
EJ:
“Your creative, scheming self will come up with something.”
Nicole:
“And what if I refuse?”
EJ:
“Then you can’t have Brady.”
THE PUB
Chad walks in and looks around for Kate. Kate signals for him. He walks over and sits at her table.
Chad:
“Thanks for meeting with me.”
Kate:
“Sure thing. What do you need help with?”
Chad:
“It’s about my biological dad.”
Kate:
“What about him? Did you find him?”
Chad:
“Maybe. I’m not sure.”
Kate:
“What do you mean?”
Chad pulls out the DNA test and hands it to Kate. Kate looks it over.
Kate:
“This says that EJ’s your father?”
Chad:
“Yep. Do you know if there is any truth to this?”
Kate:
“Where did you get this?”
Chad:
“Will and Mia.”
Kate:
“My grandson Will? How did they get this?”
Chad:
“They found it in Colin’s apartment.”
Kate:
“Well Colin wasn’t the most trustworthy person.”
Chad:
“I can see that, but he got into my mom’s safe deposit box. This could have been in it.”
Kate:
“I guess.”
Chad:
“You knew my mom back then. Could this be true? Could I be a DiMera?”
Kate holds back.
LUCAS’ HOUSE
Sami:
“I’m not going to waste my time and put my daughter through a DNA test just to prove that this is just another one of Nicole’s schemes to get Sydney back. As if getting knocked up by her father again wasn’t enough.”
Baker:
“Believe it or not Sami, but this is not a scheme.”
Sami:
“Ok so if it’s not then why are you just telling me this now?”
Baker has a flashback from the night Sami’s daughter was born. He and his nurse were giving her CPR, but were unable to save her.
Baker:
“She’s gone.”
Nurse:
“That’s so sad. How are you going to tell her mother?”
Baker:
“I don’t know.”
Someone starts bagging on the door.
Baker:
“Who the hell is that?”
Baker opens the door, but doesn’t see anyone. He’s about to shut the door when he looks down and sees a baby girl in a basket. He bends down and picks her up. He brings her in the room and closes the door.
Nurse:
“Whose baby is that?”
Baker:
“I don’t know.”
Sami interrupts.
Sami:
“Hello?”
Baker comes too.
Baker:
“What?”
Sami:
“What were you thinking about?”
Lucas:
“Yeah, you have some explaining to do.”
DIMERA MANSION
Nicole:
“Who the hell do you think you are? Telling me I can’t have Brady. I can have Brady if I want Brady.”
EJ:
“Actually, he’s married so you can’t.”
Nicole:
“Shut up”
EJ laughs.
Nicole:
“You know what? I don’t care. Do whatever you want to do EJ. I don’t need you. Have fun trying to break up Sami and Rafe on your own.”
Nicole leaves the room. EJ smiles.
Stefano:
“That’s your grand plan? Break up Sami and Rafe? That’ll fix them. That’ll get your children back.”
EJ turns to Stefano.
EJ:
“What else am I supposed to do? As long as Rafe and Sami are together, Rafe will do whatever to find out whatever I am up to and put me behind bars. Him and that pathetic Lucas. Always on Sami’s side. I should kill them both.”
Stefano:
“Kill Rafe if you want to, but not Lucas. That is Katherine’s son.”
EJ gets angry.
EJ:
“I don’t give a bloody hell whose son he is. He is a road block that needs moving so I can have Johnny and Sydney back. I will do anything to have them back and anyone that stands in my way. Damn them.”
Stefano:
“Even me?”
THE PUB
Kate:
“I honestly don’t know Chad. I really don’t.”
Chad:
“My mom never confided in you about my father?”
Kate:
“No. She never said anything about him. I asked her, but that’s something she kept to herself. Then Charles came into the picture and she convinced me that he was.”
Chad:
“But you didn’t believe it at first, right?”
Kate:
“No I didn’t. I thought it was a John really.”
Chad:
“So EJ was a John?”
Kate:
“No. He was still young back then. He wasn’t even around Stefano back then. I would have no idea how Madeline and him would have met.”
Chad stares at Kate.
Kate:
“What?”
Chad:
“You’re lying to me.”
Kate:
“I’m not. I’m telling you the truth Chad. Why don’t you believe me?”
Chad:
“I don’t know, but I have a feeling you are. You’re hiding something.”
Kate:
“I’m not hiding anything from you Chad. You know what? I’ll talk to Stefano and EJ for you.”
Chad:
“You know what? Don’t bother.”
Chad gets up and leaves. Kate takes a deep breath. Outside the Pub, Chad walks past Will and Mia.
Mia:
“Chad?”
Will:
“He looks pissed.”
Mia:
“What did your Grandma say to him?”
Mia rushes into the Pub and to Kate’s table. Kate looks up.
Mia:
“What did you say to Chad?”
Kate stares at Mia.
LUCAS’ HOUSE
Baker:
“Okay. I’ll tell you everything.”
Sami:
“Finally.”
Baker:
“When Brady brought Nicole into my clinic, she gave birth to a girl. The baby was premature. She had a lot of complications, but she pulled through.”
Sami:
“Then what? How come you didn’t give her to Nicole?”
Baker:
“I was, but then this man showed up and demanded the baby.”
Lucas:
“So you just gave some random guy Nicole’s baby just because he demanded?”
Baker:
“He had a gun and threatened me. So I gave him the baby.”
Sami:
“Really? This sounds so stupid.”
Sami throws her hands in the air.
Lucas:
“Do you know who this man is?”
Baker:
“Yes I do. And you two know him.”
Sami and Lucas look intrigued.
DIMERA MANSION
EJ calms down.
EJ:
“Why would you stand in my way?”
Stefano:
“I won’t as long as your revenge plot doesn’t hurt Lucas.”
EJ:
“Fine, I’ll leave Lucas alone as long as he stays out of my way.”
Stefano:
“I’m warning you son.”
EJ:
“Whatever father.”
Stefano and EJ stare intensely at one another.
Stefano:
“Let’s chance the subject shall we?”
EJ:
“Oh yes. There is something that happened today.”
Stefano:
“What else could have possibly happened today?”
EJ:
“It’s quite funny actually.”
Stefano:
“How so?”
EJ:
“Chad Woods came past with a DNA test claiming that I was his father.”
Stefano stands nervously while EJ laughs.
EJ:
“Like I would sleep with Madeline. No offense Father. I know you had a thing for her.”
EJ stops laughing and notices Stefano looks nervous.
EJ:
“Why do you look so nervous?”
THE PUB
Kate:
“Excuse me?”
Will interrupts.
Will:
“Mia is just worried about Chad. That’s all. What happened?”
Kate:
“Chad’s upset obviously.”
Mia:
“Yeah because of you.”
Kate stands up.
Kate:
“Excuse me again, could you like go somewhere for a minute Mia? I need to talk to my Grandson.”
Mia:
“Whatever Grandma”
Mia walks to the counter.
Kate:
“Why are you hanging out with that girl?”
Will:
“Mia’s my girlfriend.”
Kate:
“Oh really? Does your parents’ know about this? I’m sure they wouldn’t approve.”
Will:
“So what? I don’t care. I’m going to date Mia and there’s nothing that you or my parents’ can do about it.”
Will looks over at Mia.
Will:
“Hey Mia”
Mia turns around.
Will:
“Let’s go babe”
Mia smiles as she walks back over to Will. He wraps his arm around her.
Will:
“Bye Grandma.”
Mia smirks at Kate before she and Will turn around and walk out of the Pub.
Kate:
“What the hell just happened?”
Kate pulls out her phone and dials Lucas. He doesn’t answer so she leaves a voicemail.
Kate:
“Lucas, when you get this call me. It’s about your son.”
Kate hangs up.
Kate:
“Teenage boys. Ugh.”
LUCAS’ HOUSE
Lucas:
“Who is he?”
Baker:
“That doctor guy that shot at the hospital.”
Lucas:
“Colin Murphy?”
Sami:
“What would he want with a baby?”
Baker:
“I don’t know.”
Lucas:
“So you just gave Nicole’s baby to some random stranger to save yourself?”
Baker:
“Yeah I did. I regret it of course.”
Sami:
“Yeah now you do.”
Lucas:
“So how did you get Sydney back if you gave her to Colin?”
Baker:
“He brought her back the night Sami gave birth and Nicole came in with Grace.”
Sami:
“So he was like here take the baby back?”
Baker:
“No, he just left her sitting by the door. I didn’t realize he was Nicole’s daughter. I picked her up and laid her down. Then Nicole showed up with Grace.”
Baker flashed back to that night.
Baker:
“Who are you? You look familiar.”
Nicole walks in with baby Grace.
Nicole:
“Is that Sami’s baby?”
Baker comes back.
Baker:
“She asked me if that baby was yours. I panicked so I said yes.”
Sami starts to cry.
Baker:
“Then Nicole came up with the idea of switching the babies. I didn’t want to but then I agreed to it. I didn’t realize that baby was Nicole’s until I was told by that Murphy guy. He said he’d pay me a lot of money to keep it to myself. But now he’s dead so there’s no reason to keep it hidden anymore I guess.”
Lucas:
“You guess? Do you not realize all the pain you’ve caused?”
Baker:
“Yes and I hate it. That’s why I’m doing the right thing now. I’m so sorry Sami.”
Sami:
“Get out.”
Baker:
“Fine.”
Baker walks towards the door. Sami follows. Baker opens the door and walks out. Sami slams it behind him. She stares at the door for a moment.
Lucas:
“We should tell EJ and Nicole about this.”
Sami turns around.
Sami:
“No. They don’t need to know anything about this.”
Sami wipes the tears from her face.
DIMERA MANSION
Stefano:
“I’m not nervous.”
EJ:
“Don’t lie to me father.”
Stefano:
“I’m not lying. I just think it’s crazy that Chad is walking around with some DNA test and claiming he’s a DiMera. Like how is that possible?”
EJ:
“I don’t know. And I don’t care.”
Kate walks in. EJ and Stefano are silent.
Kate:
“Hello boys.”
Stefano:
“Katherine. So happy you’re home.”
Kate walks over to Stefano and gives him a kiss.
Kate:
“I got your message. I can’t believe you were arrested in connection with Colin. That’s just crazy.”
Stefano:
“I know. I had nothing to do with Colin.”
EJ:
“Neither did I. I’m leaving.”
EJ leaves the living room. Kate and Stefano watch then focus their attention back on each other.
Kate:
“I know you didn’t. And soon the idiot police will too.”
Stefano:
“Not so sure they will. Seems like someone is trying to set me up.”
Kate:
“Any idea who?”
Stefano:
“Victor Kiriakis.”
Kate:
“Victor? Why? Is this about the argument earlier?”
Stefano:
“He’s trying to take a very important client from me.”
Kate:
“You boys.”
Stefano:
“Whatever. I need a drink.”
Stefano walks over to pour himself a drink. Kate follows him.
Kate:
“There’s something that I need to talk to you about.”
Stefano takes a sip of his drink.
Stefano:
“What about?”
Kate:
“About Chad Peterson-Woods.”
Stefano:
“What about him?”
Kate:
“He has a DNA test that says that he’s EJ’s biological son. Is there any truth to this?”
Stefano pauses.
Kate:
“Oh my gosh. It’s true isn’t it?”
Stefano finishes his drink.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Chad walks off the elevator. He looks over and sees Lexie standing by the nurse’s desk looking at a patient’s charts. He walks over to her.
Chad:
“Dr. Carver.”
Lexie looks over at him.
Lexie:
“Chad, hey. What’s going on?”
Chad:
“I need your help.”
Lexie:
“Sure anything. What’s wrong?”
Chad:
“I need you to test our DNA.”
Lexie:
“What? Why?”
Chad:
“I think I might be EJ’s son.”
Lexie’s stunned.
LUCAS’ HOUSE
Lucas:
“Why not?”
Sami:
“Because…we don’t know if what Baker is saying is the truth. This could still be a Nicole scene or even EJ could be a part of this.”
Lucas:
“I don’t know about that. I mean it sounds a little far fetch, but I don’t think Nicole and EJ have any idea about this.”
Sami:
“There’s only one way to find out.”
Sami walks over to Lucas.
Lucas:
“Yeah. We do a DNA test.”
Sami:
“If we want the truth. Then no one can know about this.”
Lucas:
“I won’t tell anyone. Just let me know when you want to do this.”
Sami:
“I trust you Lucas. The one the only people I can trust.”
Sami hugs Lucas. He hugs her back.
Lucas:
“I got to get back to the office.”
Lucas pulls away.
Lucas:
“Are you going to be ok?”
Sami:
“I’m fine. I’m just going to finish cleaning up the mess the twins made earlier.”
Lucas:
“Ok. Call me if you need anything.”
Lucas wipes the tears from Sami’s eyes. Then walks away. Sami turns and watches him leave. Lucas opens the door. He turns around to give Sami a smile before he closes the door. Sami’s phone rings. She looks at her id, it’s Roman.
Sami:
“Hey Dad. What’s going on?”
Roman:
“Hey sweetheart. How are you?”
Sami:
“I’m doing better.”
Roman:
“That’s good. Can you come down to the station?”
Sami:
“I can’t come to the station right now. The kids are napping.”
Roman:
“Okay. Why don’t I come over?”
Sami:
“That would be great.”
Roman:
“Okay. I’ll be over there in a minute.”
Sami:
“Okay cool. Bye.”
Sami hangs up her phone as someone knocks at the door. Sami looks at the door.
Sami:
“Well that was fast.”
Sami walks over to answer it. It’s EJ.
Sami:
“What the hell do you want?”
EJ stands there with a smile on his face.
DIMERA MANSION
Kate:
“Well?”
Stefano:
“That bitch. She screwed with the DNA tests. Chad must have the original.”
Kate:
“Wait, you knew there was a possibility that Chad was EJ’s son?”
Stefano:
“Yes. Yes I did. But it came back that he wasn’t. Madeline must have switched them somehow. I must know for sure. Where’s Chad?”
Kate:
“I don’t know. He ran out of the Pub because he thought I was lying when I said I didn’t know anything.”
Stefano gets out his phone.
Stefano:
“I must find him.”
Stefano dials one of his associates.
Stefano:
“Yes, find me Chad Peterson-Woods.”
He hangs up.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Lexie is confused.
Lexie:
“Why do you think you’re EJ’s son?”
Chad pulls out the DNA results and hands them to Lexie. Lexie takes them from his hands and looks them.
Lexie:
“Oh my.”
Chad:
“Do they seem legit?”
Lexie looks up at him.
Lexie:
“They do. You’re EJ’s son.”

Sarah and Kinsey get Jan’s test results

Carrie and Caroline walk into the Pub
Carrie:
“Thanks Grandma for being at the service.”
Caroline:
“No need to thank me. I wanted to be there for you.”
Carrie and Caroline hug. Austin walks in.
Austin:
“The car is parked.”
Caroline and Carrie turn to Austin.
Caroline:
“Thank you for dropping me off at the door. Such a gentleman.”
Caroline says with a smile. Carrie and Austin smile as well.
Austin:
“You’re welcome Caroline.”
Caroline:
“Would anyone like some clam chowder?”
Carrie:
“Got any ice tea?”
Caroline:
“Well of course.”
Carrie:
“Then yes please.”
Caroline:
“Coming right up.”
Caroline says with a smile then turns and walks towards the kitchen.
Carrie:
“I can help too.”
Carrie says, but Austin stops her.
Austin:
“No I’ll help, you rest.”
Carrie:
“Okay.”
Carrie and Austin kiss before he walks to the kitchen with Caroline. Carrie’s smile fades as she walks over to a table. She’s about to sit down when Derrick walks in. They stare at one another.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: JAN’S ROOM
Daniel’s in Jan’s room checking her vitals when Sarah and Kinsey walk in. Daniel turns to them.
Kinsey:
“So you have the test results? Is Jan going to wake up? If so when?”
Sarah:
“Calm down Kinsey, let’s let Dr. Jonas speak ok?”
Daniel:
“The test results say that Jan’s condition is the same. No improvement has been made.”
Kinsey:
“What? No. I saw her eyes open. Jan’s trying to wake up.”
Daniel:
“It probably was an involuntary reaction.”
Kinsey:
“I know what I saw.”
Kinsey rushes out of the room. Sarah tries to stop her, but Kinsey ignores her.
Sarah:
“Kinsey!”
Sarah watches her leave then turns back to Daniel.
Sarah:
“I’m sorry Dr. Jonas.”
Daniel:
“It’s fine. I understand. She wants her cousin to wake up, but…”
Sarah:
“You don’t see that happening?”
Daniel hesitates.
Daniel:
“Never say never, but the way things have gone. It’s been too long.”
Sarah tries to fight back the tears.
Daniel:
“I’m sorry.”
Sarah:
“Jan is the only thing I have left of my sister. I mean I have money and a nice house, but I’d give that all up just to see Jan again. She looks just like my sister.”
Daniel:
“I wish there was more that I could do, but there’s only so much I could and I’ve done it all and more. And, it’s out of my hands.”
Sarah:
“I know. I know. And I think you so much Dr. Jonas. All the other doctors, they didn’t care. Then you came to town. You are truly a blessing.”
Daniel:
“Thank you, but I’m not.”
Sarah:
“You are. You underestimate yourself.”
Daniel watches as Sarah wipes the tears from her eyes.
Sarah:
“Well I better go find Kinsey. Thank you again Dr. Jonas.”
Sarah gives Daniel a half smile then leaves the room. Daniel looks at Jan, lying motionless in her bed. He takes a deep breath then leaves the room. Outside Jan’s room, Daniel bumps into Dr. Jason Walters.
Jason:
“Oh sorry Jonas.”
They stare at each other.
DIMERA MANSION
Stefano is sitting in the living room having a drink when Kate walks in.
Kate:
“Any news on Chad? I tried calling him, but he’s not picking up.”
Stefano:
“Nothing yet. Goodness, how long does it take to locate a teenage boy?”
Just as Stefano says that, his phone rings. He answers quickly.
Stefano:
“Well?”
He pauses to listen. Kate is intrigued.
Stefano:
“Thank you.”
Stefano hangs up.
Kate:
“Where is he?”
Stefano:
“At the hospital, talking with Lexie.”
Kate nods her head.
Kate:
“That makes sense.”
Stefano:
“Let’s go now.”
Stefano and Kate leave the mansion.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Lexie looks over the DNA tests.
Lexie:
“These seem legitimate. I can’t believe this.”
Chad:
“Neither does EJ. He just brushed me off like it didn’t even matter to him.”
Lexie:
“EJ has had a lot on his mind.”
Chad:
“I don’t care. I want to know the truth.”
Lexie:
“I can perform another DNA test.”
LUCAS’ HOUSE
Sami stares at EJ wish disgust.
EJ:
“You look so happy to see me Samantha.”
Sami:
“What the hell are you doing here?”
EJ lets himself in.
EJ:
“Though Lucas was never going to leave.”
Sami:
“Have you been spying on us?”
Sami closes the door. EJ turns to face her.
EJ:
“Us? You mean, you and Lucas were?”
Sami:
“No, we were just talking.”
EJ:
“Sure whatever.”
Sami:
“Again, what the hell are you doing here?”
EJ:
“I’m here to see my kids of course.”
Sami crosses her arms.
THE BRADY PUB
Carrie:
“Hey Derrick.”
Derrick:
“Hey”
He says as he walks closer to Carrie.
Carrie:
“Thank you for coming to my mother’s funeral. That was very sweet of you.”
Derrick:
“No problem. Your mother was a very interesting woman.”
Carrie:
“Yes she is…was.”
Derrick:
“I feel responsible for her death.”
Carrie:
“You were just doing your job. I wish my mother wouldn’t have gotten involved with EJ DiMera. Rafe said that she told him that she was working with EJ on the kidnapping, but now that my mom is dead and there’s no more evidence, EJ’s going to get away with it.”
Derrick:
“Yeah I talked to Tim. This is just…just so messed up. I wish that there was something I could do.”
Carrie:
“I wish so too, but they’re the DiMeras. They get away with everything.”
Carrie starts to break down, Derrick pulls her in for a hug just as Stephanie is walking in.
Stephanie:
“What’s going on here?”
Carrie and Derrick break their hug to look over at Stephanie.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: JAN’S ROOM
Daniel:
“It’s fine Walters.”
Jason:
“So what’s going on in there? I saw 2 beautiful women rushing out.”
Daniel:
“It’s a coma patient, Jan Spears. She’s been in for awhile and the young woman, Kinsey, she was hoping she was going to wake up, but her test results say otherwise.”
Jason:
“Oh wow, that’s horrible. Sorry man.”
Daniel:
“Me too. Well I better get to my rounds.”
Jason:
“Same. Later.”
Jason and Daniel walk away in different directions. Jason stops to make sure that Daniel was gone then walks back to Jan’s door. He goes inside and closes the door. He stares at Jan then walks slowly towards her.
Jason:
“It’s almost time.”
He says to her comatose body before injecting her IV.
Jason:
“That should help.”
He kisses her on the forehead then leaves her room.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Chad:
“Are you sure? I mean I want to know the truth, but I don’t want to come between you and EJ.”
Lexie:
“It’s fine Chad. I want to know too. EJ would want to know too.”
Chad:
“I doubt that.”
Stefano and Kate walk off the elevator and see Lexie and Chad talking. The rush over to them.
Stefano:
“Chad.”
Chad turns around.
Stefano:
“Where is this DNA test?”
Lexie:
“It’s right here.”
Stefano:
“Is it true Alexandria? Is Chad EJ’s son?”
Lexie:
“The DNA test seems legit. I was going to run another test just to be sure.”
Stefano:
“Do it. I want to know if Chad is my grandson.”
Lexie:
“I’ll prep.”
Lexie walks away.
Chad:
“You really want to know if I’m your grandson?”
Stefano:
“Yes I do.”
Kate:
“See Chad, I told you I’d talk to Stefano.”
Chad:
“Yeah, you did. But the question is. Does he want to know the truth or is he here to make sure the truth stays hidden?”
Stefano:
“I do want to know the truth Chad. Why would I not want to?”
Chad:
“Um…let’s see here. You’re a DiMera and well how did you know I was here?”
Stefano:
“I wanted to know where you were so we could find out the truth.”
Chad:
“Right.”
Chad said sarcastically. Lexie walks back over.
Lexie:
“Okay. Are you guys ready?”
Chad:
“I am.”
Stefano:
“Me too.”
LUCAS’HOUSE
Sami:
“You’re not going to see my kids. So you can leave now.”
EJ:
“They’re my kids as well and you can’t deny me time with them. You’ve done that enough.”
Sami:
“Yes I can and I will.”
Sami walks over to a desk and picks up an envelope then walks back over to EJ and hands it to him.
EJ:
“What’s this?”
Sami:
“Our custody agreement.”
EJ opens it up and looks it over.
EJ:
“It says that you’re to get full custody.”
Sami:
“Yep.”
EJ:
“I don’t agree with this.”
Sami:
“Well tough. That’s the way it’s going to be.”
Sami says with a big smile on her face.
EJ:
“No it will not be.”
EJ starts to raise his voice.
Sami:
“Quiet down. You’re going to wake the kids.”
EJ:
“I don’t care. I want to see them. You can’t keep me away from Johnny and Sydney.”
Sami:
“I have and I will continue to.”
EJ:
“Over my dead body.”
Sami:
“Well die then so Johnny, Sydney, and I can live in peace.”
EJ grabs Sami by the shoulders.
EJ:
“Listen here you little bitch…”
Sami pushes him away.
Sami:
“Keep your hands off of me.”
EJ walks closer to Sami just as Roman opens the door.
Roman:
“What the hell is going on in here?”
Sami and EJ look over at Roman. Sami then looks at EJ and gives him a smirk.
THE BRADY PUB
Carrie:
“Stephanie, hey.”
Stephanie walks towards them.
Carrie:
“Stephanie, this is Agent Derrick Matthews. Derrick, this is my cousin Stephanie.”
Derrick:
“Hi.”
He says and waves with a smile.
Stephanie:
“Hey.”
And does the same thing back.
Derrick:
“It was nice meeting you Stephanie, but I have to get going.”
He turns back to Carrie.
Derrick:
“Again, I’m sorry for your loss.”
Carrie:
“Thank you.”
Derrick walks away. Stephanie turns around and watches him leave then turns back to Carrie.
Stephanie:
“Wow. He’s hot.”
Carrie:
“Really?”
Stephanie:
“You didn’t notice? Plus he has a nice butt.”
Carrie and Stephanie laugh.
Carrie:
“Stephanie. Wow. I wasn’t even looking.”
Carrie and Stephanie sit down.
Stephanie:
“Well of course you didn’t notice. You’re married.”
Carrie:
“Yes I am. To the most amazing man on earth.”
Stephanie:
“I hope that one day I can find what you and Austin have.”
Carrie:
“What do you me? As gorgeous as you are, guys should be lining up around the block just to ask you out.”
Stephanie:
“Yeah right.”
Eddie walks up behind Stephanie.
Eddie:
“They should be.”
Stephanie turns around.
Stephanie:
“Eddie, hey.”
She stands up and gives him a hug. Carrie watches and smiles.
Stephanie:
“Eddie, this is my cousin Carrie. Carrie this is Eddie.”
Carrie stands up and walks over to them.
Carrie:
“Nice to meet you Eddie.”
Eddie:
“Nice to meet you also. Wow Stephanie, are all the women in your family beautiful?”
Stephanie blushes.
Stephanie:
“Yeah, we’re pretty good looking.”
Carrie:
“So how did you two meet?”
Stephanie:
“At the hospital. Eddie was a patient.”
Eddie:
“Yeah. I thought she was beautiful so I asked her out to the hospital benefit.”
Carrie:
“Benefit?”
Stephanie:
“It’s to help raise money for the new children’s wing at the hospital.”
Carrie:
“Oh that sounds great. I would love to help out and I’m sure Austin would too.”
Stephanie:
“Great. I’ll get you and Austin an invite.”
Carrie:
“Thank you. Speaking of Austin, I’m going to check and see what is taking so long in the kitchen.”
Stephanie:
“Okay, tell him I said hi.”
Carrie:
“I will. You two have fun.”
Carrie walks away.
Eddie:
“Oh we will.”
Stephanie smiles.
Stephanie:
“So are you hungry?”
Eddie:
“Yeah. I am a little.”
Stephanie:
“Cool, I’ll get us some burgers and fries.”
Eddie:
“My favorite.”
Stephanie:
“Okay, be right back.”
Eddie watches Stephanie as she heads to the kitchen and smiles. Nathan walks into The Pub and notices Eddie.
Nathan:
“You again?”
Eddie turns around.
Eddie:
“Doc, what’s up?”
Nathan gets mad.
THE PARK
Derrick and Sarah bump into each other in the park.
Derrick & Sarah:
“Oh I’m sorry.”
Derrick:
“Sarah? Hey.”
Sarah:
“Hey. I didn’t mean to bump into you.”
Derrick notices she looks upset.
Derrick:
“What’s wrong?”
Sarah:
“It’s about my niece Jan.”
Derrick:
“What did she do this time?”
Sarah:
“Nothing, she’s still in a coma.”
Derrick:
“Wow, it’s been a really long time.”
Sarah:
“Yeah and Kinsey visited her the other day and said she say her hand move. So Dr. Jonas did some test to see if there were any changes and there weren’t. Now Kinsey’s upset and just ran off. I can’t find her anywhere and she won’t answer her phone.”
Derrick:
“I’m sorry about Jan.”
Sarah:
“Thank you.”
Derrick:
“Why don’t you go home and get some rest. I’ll look for Kinsey.”
Sarah:
“Are you sure that’s a good idea?”
Derrick:
“Maybe not, but it’s the least I could do.”
Sarah:
“Okay thank you. Call me as soon as you find her.”
Derrick:
“I will.”
Sarah walks away. Derrick takes a deep breath.
Derrick:
“So where do I even start first?”
He wonders. He turns around just as Kinsey walks through the park. They lock eyes.
Derrick:
“Where have you been? You’re mother was just here looking for you.”
Kinsey:
“I don’t want to talk to her. Or you for that matter. I just want to be alone.”
Derrick:
“Could you at least call her and let her know you’re okay?”
Kinsey:
“I’ll go home eventually. I’m not like you. Running away every chance I get.”
Derrick:
“I deserve that.”
Kinsey:
“And more of it.”
Derrick:
“I know about Jan. I’m sorry. I know how close you too were.”
Kinsey:
“I saw her hand move and no one believes me.”
Derrick:
“I believe you.”
Kinsey is surprised.
Kinsey:
“Why?”
Derrick:
“It doesn’t seem like something you’d make up.”
Kinsey:
“It’s not.”
Derrick:
“Maybe there’s more to this?”
Kinsey:
“Mom and Dr. Jonas don’t believe so.”
Derrick:
“I have a feeling there is.”
Kinsey tries to smile.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Kate is pouring herself some coffee when Daniel walks up to her.
Daniel:
“Kate?”
Kate turns around.
Daniel:
“What are you doing here? Is Chloe okay? The baby’s ok?”
Kate:
“What? I don’t know I have talked to her.”
Daniel:
“Who’s seeing her?”
Kate:
“What? She’s not even here.”
Daniel:
“Oh. So why are you here?”
Kate:
“Why do you care about Chloe still? She’s ruining Phillip’s life now. You’re free to move on.”
Daniel:
“Well if Chloe’s not here, they why are you here?”
Kate:
“For Stefano and Chad.”
Daniel:
“What’s wrong with them?”
Kate:
“They’re getting a DNA test done. Apparently, Chad might be EJ’s biological son.”
Daniel:
“I feel for Chad.”
Kate smirks.
Kate:
“Just like I feel for you. You need to get over Chloe. There are so many other women out there for you chose from.”
Daniel:
“You’re right. I need to forget about Chloe and be my old self again.”
Kate:
“That’s the spirit.”
Daniel walks away. Kate takes a sip of her coffee.
Kate:
“The faster you get over the tramp, the better. You deserve so much better than Chloe Lane.”
Kate notices Stefano and Chad walk down the hallway. She walks over to them.
Kate:
“So, how did it go?”
Stefano:
“They took our blood. Now we’re just waiting for the results.”
Kate:
“How long will that take?”
Chad:
“We should know any minute now.”
LUCAS’ HOUSE
Sami:
“EJ was just saying how he thinks he should have the right to barge in here and demand to see Johnny and Sydney. And when I said no he started threatening me.”
Roman:
“Is that so?”
EJ smiles.
EJ:
“It’s obviously a bad time. I’ll come by later.”
Roman:
“How about you don’t?”
EJ:
“You can’t keep me from my kids. I’ll find a way to see them again.”
Sami:
“We’ll see about that.”
EJ:
“Yes we will.”
EJ flashes one more smile before leaving. Roman walks over to the door and closes it.
Sami:
“I can’t stand that man.”
Roman walks back over to Sami.
Roman:
“Neither can I. he doesn’t deserve to be around Johnny and Sydney.”
Sami:
“He was there when the Penthouse caught on fire. He was there. He kidnapped Sydney with Anna.”
Roman:
“I know. Unfortunately we need evidence to throw him in jail.”
Sami:
“This is so annoying. I just want him out of my life.”
Roman:
“As do I. Hopefully we can maybe nail him with something else.”
Sami:
“Like what?”
Roman:
“Your shooting.”
Sami:
“You know who shot me?”
Roman:
“Colin Murphy.”
Sami:
“Why? I didn’t do anything to him.”
Roman:
“We believe he was aiming for Nicole.”
Sami:
“Now that makes sense.”
Roman:
“But he was working with the DiMeras.”
Sami:
“How do you know that?”
Roman:
“Stefano DiMera has been sending money to him. He claims he hasn’t, but we have bank account information that says otherwise.”
Sami:
“Are you sure he wasn’t trying to kill me to get the kids?”
Roman:
“We can’t rule that out, but as of right now we assume he was trying to kill Nicole out of revenge.”
Sami:
“I don’t blame her. I’ve wanted to kill her a few times.”
Roman:
“Haven’t we all? Well I need to get back to the station. Are you going to be ok? Should I call someone to come stay with you?”
Just then, Will and Mia walked in.
Roman:
“Never mind, Will’s here.”
Will:
“What’s going on?”
Sami:
“EJ was just here.”
Will:
“Oh great. What did he want?”
Sami:
“To see the kids.”
Roman:
“Luckily I showed up.”
Will:
“Yeah luckily.”
Roman:
“Well I’ll see you guys later.”
Roman leaves the house.
Sami:
“So Mia, what are you doing here?”
Will:
“We’re just hanging out.”
Mia:
“I have to use the restroom.”
Mia walks to the bathroom. Sami waits until she’s in there before she starts to talk.
Sami:
“Didn’t I tell you to stay away from her?”
Will rolls his eyes.
THE BRADY PUB
Nathan:
“You don’t listen, do you?”
Eddie:
“Neither do you.”
Nathan:
“Stay away from Stephanie.”
Eddie:
“I’m not. I happen to like her a lot. I want to get to know her. Take her out, maybe even kiss her, or more.”
Nathan punches Eddie. Eddie rubs his face where Nathan punched him at while staring angrily at Nathan.
Eddie:
“You’re going to regret that.”
Eddie lunges at Nathan knocking him to the ground. Eddie punches Nathan in the face. They roll around a little till Nathan gets away. He stands up. Eddie gets up too and punches Nathan in the gut then knocks him into a table. Caroline, Austin, Carrie, and Stephanie walk out and see what’s going on.
Caroline:
“What the hell is the problem?”
Austin walks over to try and break up the fight as Daniel walks in looking at his phone. He sees the fight and puts his phone away and steps in to help Austin. Nathan and Eddie still try to fight while being pulled apart.
Nathan:
“Stay away from Stephanie”
Eddie:
“No”
They scream at each other. Daniel and Austin are about to finally get them apart.
Daniel:
“Stop it both of you. What the hell is this about?
Daniel shuts as he keeps Nathan back.
Eddie:
“Yeah, why don’t you tell him. Why don’t you tell everyone why we’re fight?”
Nathan takes a deep breath then looks around at everyone with their eyes on him.
Nathan:
“You’re no good for Stephanie.”
Stephanie walks over.
Stephanie:
“It’s not up to you to tell me who I can see and I can’t. Why don’t you go and spend time with your precious Melanie.”
Nathan wipes his mouth then heads for the door. Daniel stops him.
Daniel:
“Tell me what’s really going on here.”
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Kate:
“Well this will be a fast DNA test.”
Stefano:
“Yes because we need to know right away so Alexandria put a rush on the results.”
Chad:
“Can’t wait till this is all over.”
Stefano:
“Me too.”
Lexie walks over to them.
Lexie:
“I have the results.”
Everyone looks at Lexie with eager eyes.
LUCAS’ HOUSE
Sami:
“Don’t roll your eyes at me William. You’re going to do as I say and dump Mia McCormick.”
Will:
“Or else what?”
Sami:
“You’re grounded until you do. No TV, no video games, no hanging out anywhere. It’s straight to school and straight home to do your homework and watch the kids.”
Will:
“That’s all I do anyways. I’m like a live in babysitter. Plus, what’s the deal anyways? Mia isn’t a bad person.”
Sami:
“She was working with Colin Murphy who shot me by the way. She’s a liar, a con artist, and who knows what she is capable of.”
Will:
“So basically you.”
Sami:
“What? Mia and I are nothing alike.”
Will:
“Yeah whatever.”
Mia walks out of the bathroom and back into the living room.
Sami:
“Whatever? Well if you don’t tell Mia…”
Mia interrupts.
Mia:
“Tell Mia what?”
Sami and Will turn to Mia.
Will:
“My mom wants me to break up with you, but I said no.”
Mia smiles.
Mia:
“Cool.”
Will:
“Let’s get out of here.”
Mia:
“Ok.”
Mia walks over to Will.
Sami:
“Where are you going?”
Will opens the door. Mia walks out and stands in the doorway waiting for Will.
Will:
“Some place. Bye”
Will and Mia leave.
Sami:
“Will!”
Sami grabs her phone and calls Lucas. He doesn’t answer so she leaves a message.
Sami:
“Lucas, we have a problem. It’s about your son. Call me.”
She hangs up and slams her phone down on the table.
Sami:
“I’m not going to let that little bitch ruin my son’s life.”

UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: BOARD ROOM
Phillip and Lucas are just wrapping up a meeting about the hospital benefit.
Lucas:
“Very well done little bro.”
Phillip:
“Thank you and welcome aboard.”
Lucas:
“Thanks. I think this is a great thing you’re doing here. The new Children’s wing is going to be perfect.”
Phillip:
“And perfect timing now that I’m about to be a father myself.”
Lucas:
“Speaking of which, how is that going with Chloe?”
Phillip:
“Ok so far, once our parents stay out of it. I’m sure things could be a little easier.”
Lucas:
“I can imagine.”
Belle walks in.
Belle:
“Phillip. Lucas. Hey.”
Phillip:
“Hey, Nurse Brady.”
Lucas:
“Nurse?”
Belle:
“Yep. Tonight is my first night.”
Lucas:
“Oh well congratulations.”
Belle:
“Thank you. Tonight is Shawn’s first night at the station.”
Lucas’ phone vibrates. He pulls it out of his pocket.
Phillip:
“Awesome for him. Where’s Claire?”
Lucas:
“Excuse me. This thing has been going off all night.”
Phillip:
“Okay.”
Lucas walks away to check his messages.
Belle:
“Claire’s with Hope and Ciara. Shawn and I figured she could use a pick me up.”
Phillip:
“How is Hope doing? I’ve been meaning to see her, but I doubt she would be happy to see me.”
Belle:
“She’s doing better.”
Phillip:
“Well, let her know if she needs anything just let me know.”

“I will. I need to get back to work.”

Lucas walks back over to Phillip.
Lucas:
“Sami and mom called and guess what? It’s about the same things.”
Phillip:
“And what could that be?”

“It’s about Will.”

Shawn walks into the police station where Bo is looking through some files.
Shawn:
“Office Shawn Brady reporting for duty sir.”
Bo looks up with a smile on his face.
Bo:
“Welcome aboard Officer Brady.”
Shawn smiles back. Evan walks in and interrupts.
Evan:
“Commissioner Brady.”
Bo:
“What’s up Parker?”
Evan:
“I got the surveillance video from the night of the hit and run.”
Bo:
“Excellent. We can watch it now. This can be your first case Shawn.”
Shawn:
“Cool.”
Evan:
“Also got a report that there was a fight at the Pub.”
Bo:
“Alright you and Shawn go down there and get statements. I’ll be down there in a bit. I’m going to put the surveillance video in my office.”
Evan hands Bo the video then leaves the station with Shawn. Bo walks into his office and places the video on his desk. He then leaves and locks the door.
THE BRADY PUB
Nathan freezes as Daniel questions him.
Daniel:
“Ok I’ll ask again, what is going on here?”
Nathan is about to answer when Melanie walks in. Nathan notices her. She looks around confused. Daniel and Nathan are standing face to face while Stephanie is straightening Eddie’s shirt. Stephanie looks up and sees Melanie. She thinks to herself.
Stephanie:
“Melanie’s here, perfect.”
Melanie:
“What’s going on?”
Stephanie:
“Eddie and Nathan were fighting over me.”
Melanie’s shocked.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Stefano:
“This is true? This is great.”
Lexie:
“We’re all family.”
Kate notices the worried look on Chad’s face.
Kate:
“Chad, are you okay?”
She walks over to be closer to him.
Chad:
“This is what I wanted to know. It’s true. I’m EJ DiMera’s son.”
Stefano:
“We must tell EJ right away.”
Chad:
“Why? It’s not like he’s going to care.”
Stefano:
“He will if he knows it’s the truth.”
Chad:
“I don’t want to see him.”
Stefano:
“Well I can’t hide this from him. I’m going to tell him.”
Chad:
“No you’re not.”
Stefano pauses for a moment.
Stefano:
“One thing I don’t do is hide anything from my son. A DiMera never keeps anything from one another. We’re always honest.”
Chad:
“I have a hard time believing that.”
Kate intervenes.
Kate:
“Stefano, why don’t we give Chad a chance to let this sink in.”
Stefano:
“Fine, but I’m only giving this till tomorrow.”
Chad:
“Fine, we can go talk to EJ.”
Stefano:
“Perfect.”
Stefano smiles.

Melanie:
“Why were you fighting about Stephanie?”
Nathan:
“Because…”
Nathan thinks for a moment.
Nathan:
“…because it’s stupid. Let’s just get out of here.”
Eddie:
“Of course run along.”
Nathan and Melanie look at Eddie before leaving The Pub. Stephanie turns to Eddie.
Stephanie:
“I think we should leave too.”
Eddie:
“Good idea.”
Stephanie and Eddie leave The Pub. Caroline excesses the damage.
Caroline:
“All this mess.”
Caroline walks over to start cleaning up, but Carrie stops her.
Carrie:
“We can clean this up for you.”
Austin:
“Yeah, you can just go back into the kitchen. Don’t worry about this.”
Daniel:
“I’ll help also.”
Caroline:
“Thank you, all three of you.”
Shawn and Evan walk in.
Shawn:
“What happened here?”
Evan:
“We heard there was a fight.”
Caroline:
“Yeah Austin and Daniel broke it up.”
Daniel:
“Austin, as in Austin Reed? Kate’s son?”
Austin:
“Yeah that’s me.”
Daniel:
“Nice to meet you. I’m Daniel Jonas.”
They shake hands.
Austin:
“Probably one of the strangest ways I’ve met somebody.”
Daniel:
“Yeah.”
Evan:
“We’re going to need statements from everybody.”
Shawn:
“Who was fighting?”
Daniel:
“It was Nathan Horton and I didn’t catch the other guy’s name.”
Carrie:
“Eddie, he is a friend of Stephanie’s.”
Evan and Shawn write this information down.
Shawn:
“Where are they now?”
Daniel:
“They left.”
Evan:
“Does anyone know what the fight was about?”
Carrie:
“Stephanie.”
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL: BOARD ROOM
Phillip:
“What about Will?”
Lucas:
“I don’t know. I’m going home to talk with Sami to see what’s up.”
Phillip:
“Ok, let me know what’s going on when you get a chance.”
Lucas:
“I will. See ya.”
Phillip:
“See ya.”
Lucas leaves the board room. Phillip follows him shortly after.
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Stefano:
“Alright, let’s go to the mansion.”
Stefano walks to the elevator. Chad slowly follows. Kate walks them walk by. She’s about to turn around and follow them when she sees Lucas. She walks up to him.
Kate:
“There you are. Where have you been? I’ve been trying to find you.”
Lucas:
“I had a meeting with Phillip about hospital benefit. What are you doing at the hospital? Is it Will? Did he get hurt or something?”
Kate;
“No. I was here for Chad and Stefano.”
Lucas:
“Why?”
Kate:
“Because Chad is EJ’s son. Now about Will.”
Lucas:
“Wait what?”
Kate:
“Chad is EJ’s son, but that’s not important right now. This is about Will.”
Lucas:
“Okay what about Will?”
Kate:
“He’s turning into you.”
Lucas looks confused.
THE PARK
Melanie and Nathan walk into the park and sit on a bench.
Melanie:
“So are you going to tell me about the fight or what?”
Nathan:
“Yeah I pushed Eddie.”
Melanie:
“Why?”
Nathan:
“Because he’s not good for her.”
Melanie:
“That’s up to Stephanie to figure that out herself. Goodness. You’re acting like you have feelings for her or something.”
Nathan:
“Well I don’t. So can we change the subject?”
Melanie:
“You just got into a fight with Eddie about Stephanie and you want to change the subject.”
Nathan jumps up.
Nathan:
“Yes”
Melanie looks up at him.
STEPHANIE’S APARTMENT
Stephanie and Eddie walk into her apartment. Eddie walks ahead of her, while she closes the door.
Eddie:
“Nice place you have.”
Stephanie:
“Thank you.”
Eddie sits down on the couch.
Eddie:
“Your couch is comfy.”
Stephanie:
“Yeah it is. So why did you and Nathan get into a fight? Was it really about me?”
Stephanie sits down next to him.
Eddie:
“Yeah. Nathan doesn’t like that we’re getting close.”
Stephanie:
“So he’s jealous. Perfect.”
Eddie looks confused.
DIMERA MANSION
EJ’s having a drink and staring out at the terrace when Stefano and Chad come in. EJ hears the door open and turns to watch Stefano and Chad walk in.
EJ:
“What is he doing here?”
Stefano looks at Chad.
Stefano:
“Do you want to tell him? Or should I?”
EJ:
“Tell me what?”
Stefano:
“Chad’s your son.”
EJ laughs.
EJ:
“He got you with that fake DNA test? Oh come on now Father, I thought you would be smarter than that.”
EJ smiles.
Chad:
“I went to Lexie and asked her to do a DNA test on me and her. Then Stefano and Kate showed up and Stefano offered his DNA for testing.”
EJ’s smile fades some.
EJ:
“You can’t be serious.”
Stefano:
“We are very serious.”
EJ focuses his attention on Stefano.
EJ:
“So you knew there was a possibility that Chad was my son earlier, but you didn’t say anything?”
Stefano:
“I didn’t know what to say.”
EJ:
“You could have just told me the truth.”
Chad:
“I thought the DiMera’s were always truthful with one another?”
EJ looks at Chad.
EJ:
“You’re not a DiMera. You’re not my son. Get out of here.”
Stefano stands up for Chad.
Stefano:
“He is your son. Our DNA matched.”
EJ:
“Well, you didn’t test my DNA. So I don’t trust this.”
Chad:
“Your own sister did the test. I’m your son. Deal with it.”
EJ gets into Chad’s face.
EJ:
“The only son I have is Johnny. The only other child I have is Sydney. You’re not my son, you’re not my child. Now get the hell out of this house.”
EJ points to the door. Chad and EJ stare at one another then Chad leaves. Stefano tries to stop him.
Stefano:
“Chad, wait.”
But Chad ignores him and leaves. Stefano turns his attention back to EJ who has made his way over to pour himself another drink.
Stefano:
“How could you do that to your son?”
EJ takes a sip of his drink then places it on the table.
EJ:
“I don’t want anything to do with Chad. He’s not my son.”
Stefano:
“But he is.”
EJ:
“Could you leave me alone please? Thank you.”
Stefano stares at EJ and shakes his head before walking away. EJ pulls out his phone and dials a number.
EJ:
“This is EJ DiMera. I need you to find out everything you can about a Chad Peterson-Woods. And get back to me ASAP.”
EJ hangs up the phone and takes a big sip of his drink.
THE BRADY PUB
Bo arrives at the Pub as Shawn and Evan are wrapping up taking everyone’s statements.
Bo:
“Sorry I’m late. Got caught up. What happened here?”
Shawn:
“Nathan Horton and an Eddie no last name got into a fight over Stephanie.”
Bo:
“Well I know Nathan and Stephanie dated, but they broke up and he’s dating Melanie Layton now.”
Evan:
“Maybe Nathan is jealous?”
Bo:
“I don’t think so. Nathan wanted to be with Melanie. His relationship with Stephanie wasn’t really about love.”
Shawn:
“So now we need to figure out what the motive was.”
STEPHANIE’S APARTMENT
Eddie:
“Perfect?”
Stephanie:
“Yeah. Nathan is jealous of you. This means he still wants me.”
Eddie laughs. Stephanie’s not pleased.
Stephanie:
“Why are you laughing?”
Eddie:
“Because you think Nathan cares about you.”
Stephanie:
“What makes you think he doesn’t? Why else would he not like that we’re hanging out?”
Eddie:
“Because he loves that Melanie chick too much. I mean if you know what he has done to keep her out of jail.”
Stephanie:
“What did Nathan do?”
Eddie:
“Melanie is the one that ran down that DiMera chick and I helped cover it up.”
Stephanie is shocked. Eddie starts laughing.
Eddie:
“And you know the funniest part about this is? You’re the bargaining chip to keep me silent.”
Stephanie gets upset.
THE PARK
Melanie:
“You’re hiding something from me. Tell me what it is.”
Nathan flashes back to his fight with Eddie at the hospital.
Nathan:
“You need to stay away from Stephanie. Gosh, how many times do I have to tell you that?”
Eddie:
“How many times do I have to tell you about all the stuff I have over your head. You know your girlfriend running over that blonde chick and oh yeah you’re the last one to see that doctor before he kicked the bucket. And oh all that you said to him. I have your number. So unless you want everyone to know about all of that. I suggest you just go with the flow.”
He comes back.
Melanie:
“Hello, earth to Nathan.”
Melanie stands up next to him.
Nathan:
“Ok. I’ll tell you everything.”
UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
Lucas:
“How so?”
Kate:
“He’s involved with a no good, lying little bitch like you once were. Thank God that phase is over.”
Lucas:
“I’m guessing you had a run in with him and Mia.”
Kate:
“A run in? This little tramp had the nerve to get in my face after what she did to Chad and Will.”
Lucas:
“What did she do?”
Kate:
“She and Will went searching around in Colin’s apartment for God knows what and ended up finding the DNA test that proved Chad was EJ’s son. Then gave it to Chad.”
Lucas:
“What? Why?”
Kate:
“I don’t know. I didn’t get to ask. Mia and Will ran off before I could question them. I don’t like that girl at all.”
Lucas:
“Well you’re not alone. Sami doesn’t like her either.”
Kate:
“Well that’s surprising considering they’re like the same person.”
Lucas:
“Mia’s been through a lot. Getting pregnant by Chad then all that crap with Baker and Nicole. I think we should cut her some slack.”
Kate:
“Cut her some slack? Really? She brought all of that on herself and it’s no excuse for her behavior. Getting involved with Colin Murphy. Do you not remember what happened here between them?”
Lucas:
“Yes I remember.”
Kate:
“Ok then you know that Will and Mia dating is a huge mistake. So if you’re not going to do anything about it then I will.”
Lucas:
“No leave her alone. I’ll talk to Will.”
Kate:
“Good. Get a handle on this before Mia gets her claws even more into him like Sami did to you.”
Lucas:
“This is different.”
Kate:
“Different scenario, same outcome. Mia will destroy Will’s life if we don’t put a stop to this right away. I don’t want Will to go through what you went through with Sami.”
Lucas:
“He’s not and I wouldn’t trade any of the time I was with Sami for anything.”
Kate:
“Why the hell not?”
Lucas:
“Because two beautiful children came out of it.”
Kate:
“Yeah and one is about to have their life torn apart by one Mia McCormick. Actually it makes sense that he would be attracted to the same type of woman he was raised by.”
Lucas:
“I guess you could say the same thing about me.”
Kate chuckles.
Kate:
“You’re not really comparing me to Sami and Mia?”
Lucas:
“Look, we all have our faults. We all get tangled up with things that aren’t good for us.”
Kate:
“Nice cover.”
Lucas’ phone rings. He checks the ID, it’s Sami.
Lucas:
“Sami’s calling me again.”
Kate:
“Don’t answer it, we’re in the middle of a conversation.”
Lucas answers the phone.
Lucas:
“Yes Sami, I got your message. I’m on my way home now. Ok, bye.”
Lucas hangs up the phone.
Kate:
“That was so rude.”
Lucas:
“I gotta go.”
Kate:
“Fine, but you and Sami better do something or I will and you know it won’t be pretty.”
Lucas:
“Yes I know. I’ll talk to you later.”
Lucas gets on the elevator and leaves the hospital.
THE BRADY PUB
Carrie:
“Nathan did say something about Eddie needing to leave Stephanie alone.”
Shawn:
“So if it’s not about jealously and Nathan just wants Melanie, then why would Nathan care Eddie was hanging with Stephanie?”
Bo:
“Good question. We need to find out what this Eddie guy’s last name is.”
Carrie:
“Stephanie said she met him at the hospital, he was a patient.”
Bo:
“Great, thanks Carrie. I’ll call Carly and see if she can look up his name.”
Bo steps aside and calls Carly.
Bo:
“Hey Carly. Do you know of a guy named Eddie? He was a patient there. Probably recently. He probably was a patient of Nathan’s.”
STEPHANIE’S APARTMENT
Stephanie:
“You’re lying. Nathan wouldn’t do that to me.”
Eddie:
“Oh really? I guess you wouldn’t believe that he and his little girlfriend were the last ones to see that doc alive and he threatened to kill him. I wonder what your Uncle Bo, is it? The commish? Would think about that. You know the police believe he was murdered. Something injected into his IV no doubt.”
Stephanie:
“Nathan couldn’t kill somebody. That’s not in him. You’re lying about all of this.”
Eddie:
“What do you think the fight was about? Nathan doesn’t care that we’re hanging out. He just doesn’t want anyone to know who he really is. He doesn’t care about you. He never did.”
Stephanie:
“Get out.”
Stephanie walks over to her door and opens it.
Eddie:
“The truth hurts. I know. I have proof by the way.”
Eddie pulls a key out of his pocket.
Stephanie:
“What’s that?”
Eddie:
“A key to my safe deposit box. It has everything in there you need to know what kind of person Dr. Nathan Horton really is.”
Stephanie stares nervously.
THE PARK
Melanie:
“I’m listening.”
Nathan:
“Eddie knows that we were the last ones to see Colin alive. He heard everything I said to him.”
Melanie:
“So that started a fight?”
Nathan:
“He wanted to tell the police.”
Melanie:
“So what? Bo knows you didn’t do anything. I know you didn’t do anything. Let this Eddie guy say whatever he wants. No one will believe him.”
Nathan:
“You’re right. I don’t have anything to worry about.”
Melanie:
“Exactly.”
Melanie kisses Nathan then stares lovingly into his eyes.
Nathan:
“Maybe I should go back to The Pub and apologize to Caroline.”
Melanie:
“Yeah. I’ll go with you.”
Nathan smiles then takes Melanie’s hand as they walk back to The Pub.
THE DIMERA MANSION
Outside the mansion, Kate walks up to see Chad standing outside.
Kate:
“Chad? Why are you outside?”
Chad:
“EJ doesn’t want me as his son. He doesn’t even believe that I am.”
Kate:
“Just give him time.”
Chad:
“I don’t care anymore.”
Chad rushes off.
Kate:
“Chad!”
Kate grunts.
Kate:
“Stupid EJ.”
Inside, EJ continues to drink.
Stefano:
“Instead of talking to your son, you’re going to have someone dig into his life?”
EJ slams his glass down and turns to face Stefano.
EJ:
“I hand this situation the way that I want to. Okay father?”
EJ leaves the living room as Kate’s coming in. She stops to talk to him.
Kate:
“EJ, you need to talk to your son.”
EJ just walks by her. She rolls her eyes and enters the living room.
Kate:
“I can’t believe your son. No wait, yes I can believe that your son would do this to Chad.”
Stefano:
“He’s in denial.”
Kate:
“Well obviously. I just saw Chad outside.”
Stefano:
“I already know how he is.”
Kate:
“So what are you going to do about this?”
Stefano:
“I don’t know yet, but I will not turn my back on my Grandson.”
Kate shakes her head in agreement.
Stefano:
“So how is Lucas? I saw you talking to him at the hospital.”
Kate:
“He’s fine. It’s Will I’m concerned with.”
Stefano:
“Why? Is William hurt?”
Kate:
“Not yet but he will be. If he continues to hang out with Mia McCormick.”
Stefano:
“Ah, his girlfriend.”
Kate:
“Not for long. I’ll be damned if I let that little bitch ruin my Grandson’s life.”
Stefano smiles as he takes a sip of his drink.
STEPHANIE’S APARTMENT
Stephanie:
“What do you mean?”
Eddie:
“I taped him talking to that doc. Oh and pretty much every conversation that we’ve had since I did his little dirty work for him. Not to mention pics of his girlfriend’s car and all the work that I did on her car. Do you want to see it all?”
Stephanie closes her door.
Stephanie:
“You’re telling the truth?”
Eddie:
“Yes I am. Why would I lie to you?”
Stephanie:
“I don’t know. You seem to really hate Nathan. And now it all makes sense.”
Eddie:
“Yeah I hate him for what he has done. And hurting you. You deserve so much better than him.”
Stephanie walks closer to Eddie.
Stephanie:
“Well what do I deserve?”
Eddie:
“Me”
Eddie pulls Stephanie into a kiss.
THE BRADY PUB
Daniel, Austin, and Carrie finish cleaning up The Pub while Shawn and Evan take statements from the customers. Bo’s phone with Carly.
Bo:
“Eddie Saunders? Thanks Carly. Call me after your surgery is over. I want to ask you some more questions about Eddie and Nathan.”
Bo hangs up with Carly as Nathan and Melanie walk in. Bo looks up and sees them.
Bo:
“Nathan, just the guy I was about to go looking for.”
Nathan:
“I’m guessing you found out about the fight.”
Bo:
“Well yeah, it happened at my family’s restaurant.”
Nathan:
“I’m really sorry. I’m willing to pay for any damages and volunteer whenever Caroline needs it.”
Bo:
“That’s all good, but right now I need to know everything about your relationship with Eddie Saunders. What lead up to this fight?”
Nathan:
“Eddie was blackmailing me.”
Bo:
“About what?”
Nathan:
“He knew that I was the last person to see Colin Murphy alive and I told him off. And told him I wish he would die.”
Bo:
“What are you saying Nathan?”
Nathan gets nervous.
STEPHANIE’S APARTMENT
Stephanie and Eddie continue to kiss. Stephanie starts to pull away, but Eddie tightens his grip.
Stephanie:
“Let go of me.”
She tries to say, but Eddie continues to want to kiss her. She gives him a big push to separate them.
Stephanie:
“I said stop.”
Eddie:
“What’s wrong baby? You don’t want this?”
Eddie brushes his hands down the front of his body.
Stephanie:
“No, I want you to leave. I need time to think about this.”
Eddie grabs her and throws her on the couch. She screams as he climbs on top of her.
THE BRADY PUB
Shawn and Evan walk over to Bo, Nathan, and Melanie.
Nathan:
“I didn’t kill Colin. I just thought it would make me look guilty if you knew I was the last one to see him.”
Bo:
“Well it does, but I don’t have a reason to believe you killed Colin.”
Nathan:
“So what kind of trouble am I in for this fight?”
Bo:
“It’s up to my mom and Eddie on where or not they want to press charges and we’re go from there. According to everyone you started it.”
Nathan:
“Yes I did and I take full responsibility.”
Caroline walks over.
Caroline:
“I won’t press charges, but I’ll take you up on the volunteer offer.”
Nathan:
“I’ll call you tomorrow and I’ll let you know what my schedule is.”
Caroline:
“That sounds good. Now I need to get back to my cookies.”
Caroline walks back to the kitchen.
Bo:
“So now we just need to find Eddie.”
STEPHANIE’S APARTMENT
Stephanie struggles to get Eddie off of her. He kisses her neck as she tries to push him in his chest, hoping he would get off of her. He gets up just a little to take off his shirt. Stephanie tries to get up, but he knocks her back down. He starts to feel up her legs as she tries to scoot away. She looks up and see her vase. He starts kissing her breasts and starts to move down her stomach. She grabs her vase just as he’s coming back up and knocks him in the head with it. He falls to the floor and blood starts flowing next to him. She sets up and stares at his lifeless body.
Stephanie:
“Oh my God.”
She says before she covers her mouth with both hands.
On the next episode:
Stephanie seeks help
Sami and Lucas think of ways to deal with Will and Mia
Phillip and Chloe have dinner
Mimi and Rex head to Salem |

WOW. So much has happened I don't know where to start. Do glad Nathen was at least partially honest with Bo about Eddie blackmailing him. Of course he wasn't completely honest! Wonder if Stephanie killed Eddie???

Hey guys! Thanks for reading and for your feedback. It encourages me to write more. I'm currently trying to write more. It's hard though because I don't have a laptop anymore and only have access to a computer when I'm at work and it's hard to concentrate, but I'm going to start using my phone until I can get a new laptop. I have a lot of ideas and want to get them down lol. I'm trying to come up with a way to focus on just a couple of scenes per chapter so it'll move the stories along faster. Oh no, what happened to your laptop? Much harder to write on a phone. Even a tablet would be better.
I think that's a good idea to write scenes instead of whole episodes. It will make it easier on you, Tori. Good luck! Looking forward to more, especially Philip and Chloe having dinner together! Write that one first. LOL.

Thanks guys. The motherboard is fried. It would be cheaper just to get a new one. I hope to get one soon because I want to go back to school also. That's a good idea Kpatch. Just writing scenes could move everything along faster. Thanks. I will post the finished characters and then start doing it that way |
