I would have failed the tests as well. I don't remember that Chloe liked the bodywash so well or that they agreed on no servents. Hmmmm I am wondering what the next test would be. So hope she passes. I am getting worried that she never talks about the baby they are about to have. She should be starting to feel movenments. Need to make appts for tests ect. Tbanks for the chapter Kpatch. I am starting to think she is not the real Chloe.

Poor Philip. The really distressing part is that if this isn't Chloe where is the real Chloe. Looking forward to the next test.

LAKE HOUSE
Philip and Chloe did a good job of avoiding each other at bedtime. She went to bed early and he stayed downstairs and watched TV until she was asleep before he climbed into bed. And he made sure to wake up before she did.
That morning, he changed and fed Wesley and put him down in front of his favorite DVD. Then Philip sat at the kitchen table and waited for Chloe. Chloe: Good morning. Thanks for taking care of Wesley. He looks very content watching his favorite movie. Philip: No problem. I like our father-son time together. Chloe: Why are you up so early? Philip: I was feeling energetic. Chloe: You mean restless. You were tossing and turning all night. Philip: Was I? I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to keep you up. Chloe: It’s okay. What’s that? Philip: These? These are notebooks. Chloe: I can see that, silly. What are they for? Philip: They’re for our children. Chloe: Don’t you think that’s a little premature? Wesley can’t write yet. Philip: How do you know? Maybe he can. … No, I’m just kidding. The notebooks are for us to write our thoughts for posterity. For the kids to read when they’re old enough to understand. Chloe: Philip, what a wonderful idea. I love it. Philip: Here, this is yours. Chloe opens the notebook and knits her brow. Chloe: What’s this? First date. First kiss. First time we said I love you. First breakup. First time we made love .... Philip: I thought it would be fun to write down the history of our relationship. And then we can compare notes. You know? Chloe: Oh. Sounds great. But ... Philip: But what? Chloe: I just hope you don’t expect me to write down the details of the first time we made love. Philip: Why not? It’s part of our history. Chloe: I know. But kids cringe at the mere thought of their parents having sex, much less reading about it. Philip: Okay then. You can leave out the part about the elevator. Chloe: Excuse me? Philip: Have you forgotten what happened in the elevator? Philip searches Chloe’s eyes looking for a reaction, hoping she would correct him because the elevator was where she and his brother had their first encounter, not where Philip and Chloe had theirs. Chloe: Um, no, of course I remember. Philip: Why don’t we each take the first three questions and compare notes tonight. Chloe: Okay by me. The doorbell rang and Chloe went to answer it. Philip looked inside his notebook, pleased with the questions he came up with. He tried to think of things that only the two of them knew about, and not too many that were public knowledge. But she had already failed the question about the first place they made love. He needed to call Bo. With every passing hour, Philip grew more concerned that his wife was being held captive in a far-away land.
Chloe returned to the kitchen with Henderson. Philip rose to shake Henderson’s hand. Philip: I’m glad you’re here. Henderson: I’m happy to be of service, sir. What can I do? Philip: I’ll let Chloe decide how she wants to divide up the work. Meanwhile, I’ve got some errands to run. I’ll see you later.

Oh boy, poor Philip! I seem to keep saying this ;D Now he has to think that the real Chloe could be in huge danger somewhere... No wonder he can't sleep! Great idea on the memory book!

Unless they did something to her memory, this isn't the real Chloe.

THE LAKE HOUSE
Philip returned home after meeting with Bo. Bo still had no new information but was continuing to investigate, both in Salem and in Thailand. Despite the fact that Philip strongly suspected that the woman in his home wasn’t really Chloe, he could not accept the idea that Chloe was out there somewhere in trouble. And here he was, yet again, ineffectual at helping her. He entered the house and put a smile on his face, the trademark smile he had perfected, and he hoped that Chloe couldn’t tell he was faking it.
Philip: Hey. Where’s Henderson? Chloe: I gave him the rest of the afternoon off. Philip: But it’s his first day. Chloe: I know. And he was a huge help. But there’s not that much to do, Philip. He finished quickly. I’m amazed that a man his age has so much energy. You hungry? Philip: A little. Chloe: I’ll get dinner started. Philip: Good. I’m going to take a shower. Chloe: Okay. Philip: After dinner, let’s compare notes from our memory books. Okay? Chloe: Looking forward to it.
THE MASTER BATHROOM
Philip adjusted the water temperature and stepped into the shower. He felt anxious about reading Chloe’s memory book. He needed to know if she was Chloe, yet he feared learning the truth. He reached for the body wash on the shower shelf, and the familiar coconut scent reminded him of a much happier time.
