kpatch wouldn't do this to us OR to Phillip!! It is going to be great traveling down Memory Lane with Phillip & Chloe so Phillip can prove to himself that Chloe in the kitchen is really Chloe!!

PHILIP AND CHLOE’S LAKE HOUSE
After Bo left, Philip headed back to the kitchen. His mind was racing in a million different directions. That had to be Chloe in the kitchen. It couldn’t be anyone else. No one else looks the way Chloe does, looks as beautiful as she does. Then he thought about how Bo was fooled by Princess Gina, how Sami was fooled by Rafe’s double, how Marlena was made to believe that John was Roman for years.
But Chloe was pregnant, and that could very well be the key to everything. You couldn’t fake that. Or could you? ... Nicole did. Crazy place, Salem.
Could his parents have found a woman who was pregnant? Did they even know that Chloe was having a baby? Was the woman in the kitchen a threat, or was she just an innocent victim? And how could he figure these things out without arousing Chloe’s suspicion? After everything she’s been through in the past year, he was sure she couldn’t take any more turmoil. He wasn’t sure if he could either.
He strolled into the kitchen and tried to look nonchalant. He felt himself panic when he saw Chloe giving Wes his breakfast. Could she be trying to do his son harm? Chloe rose when Philip walked into the room. She saw the troubled look on his face and she put her arms around him.
Chloe: It’s going to be okay. It’s just going to take some time. But we’ll get through this. I’m here for you, Philip. Always.
Philip felt his body relax and he gave into Chloe’s embrace, her warmth, her scent. Could a scent be transplanted from one human being into another? He stiffened again and broke away.
Chloe: How’s Bo doing?
Philip: Better than me.
Chloe: Why don’t you go into the office?
Philip: You trying to get rid of me?
Chloe: Of course not. I just thought it might help to take your mind off things.
Realizing he couldn’t leave his son with this woman who just might be a stranger and maybe even a criminal, he decided then and there he would work from his home office until further notice.

Poor Phillip. It must be tough knowing just what his father is capable of and not knowing if his 'dying' words were the truth or just a horrible lie... thinking that Phillip would convince himself that the Chloe in his house wasn't the 'real' Chloe and kicking her out... only to find out later that his father LIED!!
Love this story jkjpatch... can't wait to read more!

I am sure it is going to end up being Chloe. Love that Philip is going to work from home and spend more time with his family. I thought he should do that anyway.going to be fun remembering the past.

Poor Philip. He had such cruel twisted parents. How far they'd go is anyone's guess. I really liked the reminders of Princess Gina, Fake Rafe and the John/Roman situation.

Philip's right that Salem is definitely the place for dopplegangers. Hopefully he'll figure it out soon and Chloe won't find out he doubted her. She's gonna be maaaaaaaaad!!!!

I sure hope it is her, because if it's not I hate to think of what's happening to the real Chloe.
But doesn't the Swiss Army knife give it away that it is her? Unless the switch happened between her escape & arriving at the hotel...Wow, this is a great storyline....

God imagine being in Philip's shoes but to me it seems like it can be easily proven whether or not that's Chloe just do a DNA test because DNA don't lie! And isn't she pregnant DNA can prove whether or not that baby is Philip's that can't be faked! Anyway I can't wait to find out the truth!

PHILIP AND CHLOE’S LAKE HOUSE
Philip sat in his home office trying to work but he couldn’t concentrate. Every few minutes he’d go check on Wesley to make sure he was alright. He was avoiding Chloe -- or the woman pretending to be Chloe. He found it more than a little odd that she hadn’t even mentioned the baby she was carrying since she came back home the day before. If she wasn’t Chloe, she probably wasn’t pregnant. His parents didn’t even know that Chloe was pregnant, so they couldn’t arrange for her double to be pregnant. Or did they?
Frightening thoughts were going through Philip’s mind again and again, and he was quickly going crazy. If his father had intended for him to suffer this kind of torment, then touché.
His cell phone rang and he hastily answered.
Philip: Hello.
Bo: Wow, you sound high strung.
Philip: Sorry Bo. Did you find anything?
Bo: No, we’re still working on it. How about you?
Philip: No, nothing yet. Listen Bo, I have a question. How did you figure out that Princess Gina wasn’t Hope?
Bo: It kind of became apparent that she wasn’t Hope when she shot Shawn D.
Philip: Oh god. What about Marlena and John? How did she figure out that John wasn’t Roman?
Bo: It kind of became apparent when the real Roman showed up.
Philip: What about Sami? How did she figure out that the Creature wasn’t Rafe?
Bo: It kind of became apparent when both Rafes showed up in the same place.
Philip: I don’t know how long I can go on this way.
Bo: Hang in there man. I’ll let you know if I find out anything.
Philip: Thanks Bo.
As Philip ended the call with Bo, an idea came to him. He picked up his iPhone again and dialed a number.
Philip: Nicole, hi, it’s Philip.
Nicole [on the phone]: Hey Philip. What’s up? Oh. Listen. I’m really sorry about your parents.
Philip: No you’re not.
Nicole: Well no, I’m not. I mean their death is no loss to the world, but I’m sorry for your loss. I mean it.
Philip: Thank you. Listen, Nicole, could you do me a favor? Could you come over and keep Chloe company? I have to go out and I hate to leave her alone.
Nicole: Hmmm. Sure. I can be there in a half hour.
Philip: Perfect.

Ohhhhhh Monday. I sure hope we can have some previews (pretty please Kpatch) I love how the other doubles mostly got found out when the real one showed up. (Just a side note I thought that Princess Gina was Hope did Alice not prove that with the puzzle box?) I am anxious to see what Philip is going to do.
