After harassing J.J. and Gabi, E.J. goes back to the DiMera Mansion and is dabbing his face with a washcloth. Johnny walks in and asks what happened. E.J. says it’s not worth talking about. He heard about Johnny’s birthday party and apologizes. Johnny’s the one who’s sorry, he’s normally not like that. E.J. says that DiMera men are passionate, and he’s sure Chanel will forgive him. After all, the worst he did was say a few unkind words. Johnny says there’s more to it than that. Chanel doesn’t know it, but he did something stupid.

E.J. asks what Johnny did. He swears E.J. to secrecy, then tells him that when he thought Chanel was cheating on him, he cheated on her.

Oh so it's true. I was hoping it wasn't...unless Johnny considers kissing to be cheating. I'm still hopeful.

I’m sad they made him a cheater
Jealous would have been enough to make this dramatic
I would have personally believed Chanel as a cheater out of the two of them with her track record
