E.J. threatens to have Gabi arrested for assault. She goes to slap him again, but he grabs her arm. J.J. runs in yelling at E.J. to get his hands off of her.
Gabi asks what J.J.’s doing in Salem. He’s saving her from this creep. E.J. tells J.J. to mind his own business. J.J. tells E.J. that if he doesn’t take his hands off Gabi, he’ll have to deal with him.

E.J. lets go of Gabi’s arm. J.J. notes that he hasn’t changed much and still mistreats women. E.J. counters that Abby was an eager participant in their affair years ago. J.J. tells E.J. not to talk about his sister. E.J. understands that Fake Abby has caused J.J. and his family a lot of pain. J.J. tells Gabi that he’s back to make sure Cat pays for denigrating his sister’s memory. E.J. tells him that the charges against Cat were dropped.

Gabi says E.J. can’t let Cat go free, but it’s already done. J.J. asks how he could do this. E.J. says it’s none of his business, but J.J. counters that it is since she claimed to be his dead sister. It makes no sense for him to let her go free. E.J. tells him to file a complaint with the city. J.J. tries to get in E.J.’s face, but E.J. pushes him away, and in return, J.J. punches him.

E.J. goes to lunge at J.J., but Gabi gets between them. E.J. threatens to have J.J. arrested for assault, but Gabi says she’d say E.J. shoved J.J. first. E.J. says neither of them are worth the trouble, and leaves. J.J. doesn’t get why Cat would go free. Gabi tells him that the D.A. gets a kick out of letting innocent people rot while the guilty go free. He’s sorry that she went to prison for a crime she didn’t commit. Gabi says that if it wasn’t for E.J., she’d still have her marriage.

Gabi returns with an ice pack for J.J.’s hand and tells him to sit. While she ices his hand, J.J. asks what she and E.J. were fighting about. Gabi explains that E.J. played a role in the end of her marriage, and that she and Stefan are divorced. She thanks J.J. for defending him. She asks if this means he forgives her. J.J. is having a hard time forgiving Gabi for tampering with Julie’s pacemaker and putting her life on the line. Gabi doesn’t blame him for being angry, she’s angry with herself, and says that’s not who she is anymore. She says she’s been working on herself and wants to be a better person. J.J.’s glad to hear that. Gabi asks for a chance to prove she’s changed, and J.J. says he believes she’s sincere. Gabi again thanks him for coming to her rescue. They talk about when Gabi came to J.J.’s rescue on Christmas Eve years ago. In spite of everything, he’s grateful for her.

Gabi hopes J.J.’s hand doesn’t hurt too much. J.J. thanks her and says he’ll be fine. He goes to leave so he can look into this Cat Greene fiasco. They say it was good to see each other. Gabi watches as J.J. walks away.

Unpopular and I know I will get flack for this but idc im saying it anyways
Team E.J. all the way
J.J. is just as obnoxious as he always was
I loved the dig at Abby cuz it was true
She was like a vulture when it came to E.J. and Austin etc, compliments of Kate mansis poor portrayal of her
And Gabi saying E.J. ruined her marriage was just as ridiculous
So yea

Yup. Team EJ. Abby threw herself at EJ. She pursued him and yet everyone acted like she was some innocent victim. That made me crazy. I know JJ wants to believe the best of his late sister, and maybe he doesn't even know about her and Austin, but Abby was far from a saint.

It was completely Gabi's idea to sleep with EJ. She did it because she knew it would inflict the most pain on Stefan. She got her wish; now she has to live with it. And yes, sleeping with his brother's wife wasn't EJ's finest moment, but in the scheme of things he hardly knows Stefan and they hate one another.

Maybe Gabi shouldn't hit people if she doesn't want her arm grabbed. And JJ swooping in like Gabi's white knight against big, bad EJ made me cringe.

ProudTVJunkie that’s exactly it, she berated him and assaulted him as did JJ
Also E.J. tried to offer her support and she was rude
E.J. was harassed not him harassing others although I enjoyed the snide comments I kind of wished he’d press charges

Agree with the three above posts. Indeed, EJ is a pompous ass but here we see Gabi and JJ reverting to form. JJ stupidly throwing punches and Gabi slipping into her weasel mode. EJ was just being dumped on by two indignant little fools.

Funny JJ brought up Gabi toying with Julie's pacemaker. One of the weirdest ever Days story lines.
