Aww now I feel bad for writing it. If there was ever only one thing that I knew about you - it would be this right here - you didn't mean one single letter in that sentence. You love angst and drama so much that you enjoyed every bit of that last part of the chapter.  |

LOL I was thinking like a guy when I wrote the chapter...we as women see promises where a man just might see the here and now of it all. The only promises Philip BELIEVES he has made are to Chloe. He just doesn't see what he's saying to Melanie in that way. Maybe that will change though once he gets some perspective. Actually I don't think he sees much beyond his own needs at this point. Getting Chloe out of the hospital was ultimately for him - he claimed it was because she didn't belong there and it was for Parker, but he has shown numerous times that he wanted Chloe free so they could be together. Choosing to move back with Melanie is also for his own selfish reasons...sure he feels bad about how he treated Melanie, and yes he feels the weight of being married, but the bottom line is he likes Melanie. Not only is he attracted to her but he likes her being there to support him and he gets a 'high" from the unadulterated love and affection she gives him. She is still very much "his nurse" in his mind. For me, as a diehard Philip fan and a non romantic person - I am pretty proud of Philip right now for admitting all that he has to Melanie and for finally dealing with his marriage. There was nothing I hated more than Philip ignoring the fact that he was married while he tried to move ahead with Chloe. It wasn't fair to either woman and it definitely put him in a bad light. So while this choice will probably make so many things worse, but solely from the Philip viewpoint, this is a step in the right direction for him. I am hoping he continues to face all the difficulties and dilemmas in his life. Now we have to wait and see what he's going to tell Chloe.

You know I adore Philip too and will defend him to the death, but that doesn't mean I like everything he does. Now you've done it!! Kpatch won't be able to leave this page to finish the story! LOL! LOL mae00. I think that was part of slyn11's grand plan. I love Philip but he can be such a handful would like to pull his ear at times Ditto. |
