SCENES FROM A MURDER INVESTIGATION
Over the next few days, the Salem PD went around town questioning everyone who might know anything about Ian’s murder.
Roman: So Kate. What da hell were you doing in Ian’s office da night of da murder? You have no business at Titan.
Kate: You are so sexy when you’re questioning people.

Bo: I hear you were trying to break your contract with McAllister. Why?
Victor: He wasn’t a good fit for the company. We had deep philosophical differences.
Maggie: But he brought good cookies. Really good cookies.

Roman: Sami, I need to ask you a couple questions.
Sami: Sure Daddy.
Roman: How are the kids?
Sami: Oh they’re fine. Which reminds me. Could you babysit tonight? I have a date.
Roman: Sure kid. Anything you want, just ask.

Bo: So Philip, I hear you wanted to take over as CEO of Titan. Did you want it so badly that you killed Ian McAllister?
Philip: No. But he was such a hateful bastard, I’m not surprised he ended up dead.
Bo: Me either. You know, I was pretty pissed that Victor didn’t offer me the CEO job. I’m his son too.
Philip: You wanted the job?
Bo: Gotcha!
The two men laughed heartily.
Philip: That was a good one! Want to go to a Bulls game with me and Lucas? My treat.

Roman: I’ll bet you were furious to find out that your fiance was married to Ian McAllister.
Brady: I refuse to answer that question.
Roman: On what grounds?
Brady: It’s personal.

Bo: Is it true that you wanted to end your marriage to Ian so you would be free to marry Brady?
Madison: I loved my husband very much.

Just loved the chapters. Sooo Happy that Ian is dead. I will confess I did it. Thanks for the chapters Kpatch. So funny with Roman questioning Sami and ending up babysitting the kids.

Roman: Now dat we questioned everyone, let’s go over da facts.
Bo: We have a murder.
Roman: Check.
Bo: Single gunshot to the head.
Roman: Check.
Bo: It was clean, like a professional hit.
Roman: Check. Boy, this is hard work. Want to take a break?
COP SHOP, AFTER TAKING A BREAK
Roman: Who had a motive to kill McAllister?
Bo: Everyone. He was a hateful bastard.
Roman: Focus Bo focus. We need a list.
Bo writes the names of the suspects on the White Board.
Brady
Victor
Philip
Madison
Sami
Kate
Maggie
Roman: Excellent job, Beauregarde.
Bo: Thanks man.
Roman: Nice handwriting too.
Bo: What now?
Roman: Let’s see. We have this kerchief that was found at da scene, along with a tube of lipstick.
Bo: Mad World brand lipstick. Ever try this stuff?
Roman: No, Kate got me hooked on Countess W. Did you send da kerchief to da lab?
Bo: Yup. They’re analyzing the hair that was found on it.
Roman: What color was da hair?
Bo: Clairol Dishwater Blonde #426.
Roman: So it probably wasn’t Kate.
Bo: Or Victor.
Roman: Or Maggie.
Bo: Or Philip.
Roman: Or Brady.
Bo: Or Sami.
A lightbulb appears in a cartoon bubble over both their heads as their eyes widen and they speak in unison.
Roman and Bo: A cheating wife and a dead husband!

LOL at writing the facts being hard work. Love that everyone was a suspect in the crime. Seems like it was Madison, but I have a feeling there is going to be a twist. Thanks for the great story.
