Madison: Brady, I can explain!
Sami: Something big is going on at Countess Wilhelmina.
Billie: What do you think of this lipstick on me?
Ian: Who the hell are you?

Victor: I’m working at having it rectified.
Melanie: I agree with Chad.
Bo: Thanks man.
Kate: Alright, we’re decent now.
Roman: Check.
Lucas: I’d better take this. Could be important.

THE KIRIAKIS MANSION, MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT
Lying in bed, Victor turned and reached into the drawer of his nightstand, took something out and put it in his mouth.
Maggie: You can’t keep eating those like they’re candy, Victor.
Victor: You’re right. I need something stronger than Tums.
Maggie: Acid indigestion again?
Victor grunted.
Maggie: I think you should see Daniel. It could be something serious like an ulcer. Or reflux.
Victor: [imitating Maggie.] “I think you should see Daniel.” I don’t need Daniel to tell me what I already know. Damn it. It’s that jackass Ian. I wish I never brought him into the business ... into our lives. He’s a snake and a charlatan and a hateful bastard, and he’s destroying everything I worked my whole life to build.
Maggie: Shhh shhh shhh. Calm down Victor. You’ll really get yourself sick.
Victor eyed Maggie lying next to him.
Victor: Ahhh, all you women think Ian’s charming, don’t you? He’s got you all fooled.
Maggie: Excuse me??? Are you saying I’m a fool?
Victor: No, of course not. But you do seem to be blinded by his fake accent and shortbread cookies.
Maggie: Well! Nice to know my husband thinks I’m just a shallow fool.
Victor: Where are you going?
Maggie: I’m going to sleep in one of the guest rooms. From now on!
MADISON’S APARTMENT
Madison: Brady, I can explain!
Brady: I have yet to hear even a remotely acceptable explanation for why you neglected to tell me you were married all the time we were together.
Madison: But there’s a very good reason I didn’t tell you.
Brady: I’m listening.
Madison:

It took me a minute to remember that this story isn't related to the last one. My first thought was "Wait! I thought Victor was on Death Row?  But, I like he start of this one already!! Yay for snarky Victor!! We've missed you!! |

What a great start. Love that Victor is getting some payback with Ian that he has given to others in the past. Not only does he have trouble at work he has trouble at home as well. I like this because he was so mean to Shawn when he decided to take Claire away form her Mom and Dad and give her to Philip. It will be fun to see how he makes this up to Maggie. Will have to wait till tomorrow for Madison's answer. Thanks for the chapter.

Great start to the new story. I'm glad Victor's not fooled by Ian. I wonder if Madison will ever be honest with Brady.
