Thanks for these. I wasn't watching at this time yet. I didn't really get into soaps until the respective teen scenes started. So Days first where I paid way more attention to what was going on there and Passions. I know that Mike and Carrie were popular but it's nice to see why. I enjoy these and honestly they have way more chemistry then Carrie and Austin. NO PROBLEM! I always love it when a fan who hasn't seen the old stuff see's some of it and understands what I'm talking about, so to speak. |

Aww, Carrie and Mike. This thread has given me so many nostalgic feels. So many wonderful Carrie and Mike moments. I remember watching them fall in love. When I first starting watching Days in 95, it was Carrie and Austin that drew me in,and I rooted for them so hard throughout all of Sami’s schemes. Then Mike entered Carrie’s orbit,and things suddenly changed for me. I totally flip flopped,and I wanted Carrie with Mike,and Sami with Austin. I can remember going to school, and my friends who watched Days along with me would have these debates at lunch as to whether it should be Caustin or Marrie. I truly wish that Carrie could return,and we get a second chance for Mike and Carrie. I’ve always felt that Carrie and Austin have been on shaky ground the past few years when we’ve seen them,and I’ve often wondered what things would be like for Carrie if Mike were back in her life.

I kind of went on a nostalgic trip down the Marrie rabbit whole myself recently (that's what inspired this thread). I was never a Caustin fan. I had a friend who was a fellow Days fan that passed away last year. We met through my cousin who went to high school with him and said he was a Days fan like me. It was when this storyline was REALLY hot ('98). He loved Caustin and the first storyline we talked about after establishing our fandom was this one (he also loved Diedre Hall). Seeing all this Marrie stuff brought back wonderful memories of him (as well as just my life in general at that time).
