(Austin opens the door and yells out)
AUSTIN - Abby
(Abby yells back in pain)
ABBY - Austin!! Im in the bathroom
(Austin runs up and opens the door to Abby crying)
AUSTIN - Abby what is it?
ABBY - I'm cramping so bad it hasn't stopped for the last few hours
AUSTIN - Did you call your Mom?
ABBY - We aren't exactly on the best of terms right now
AUSTIN - Why?
ABBY - Ask her?
AUSTIN - I will but right now I am taking you to see Kayla
SALEM UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL
(Kayla runs outside to where Austin and Abby are)
KAYLA - Good thinking calling ahead
AUSTIN - Any idea what's wrong with her?
KAYLA - No Abigail let's get you inside. How are you feeling?
ABBY - These cramps are next level
(Kayla gets Abby to sit on wheelchair and pushes her in)
(Kayla puts them into a room and Abby is on the bed)
KAYLA - So have you being bleeding at all?
ABBY - No. What have I done to my baby?
AUSTIN - Abby you haven't done anything
KAYLA - Austin's right. Just wondering have these cramps being regular?
ABBY - Yeah every five minutes or so
(Kayla takes her blood pressure)
KAYLA - Your Blood Pressures up a bit
AUSTIN - Is that bad?
KAYLA - It can be. Abby after reviewing it looks like you're having contractions
ABBY - I'm in labour
KAYLA - I just need to look at your cervix lets do a ultrasound to find out ok
(Kayla moves ultrasound machine over and puts over the baby)
KAYLA - Your cervix is looking normal. I think this is a case of Braxton Hicks
AUSTIN - Braxton Hicks?
KAYLA - Premature Labour
ABBY - It had to be the stress of the last couple of weeks
KAYLA - Yeah which is why I am ordering you to take it easy for the next few days and I will be keeping an eye on you for the rest of the pregnancy
AUSTIN - Don't worry she will be taking it easy I will be making sure of it
ABBY - Thank you Aunty Kayla
(Abby gets off bed and Austin puts his arm around her and they walk out of Hospital Room)

Glad Kayla figured out what’s going on and will be keeping an eye on Abby for the duration of her pregnancy.

(Austin is sitting on the couch and Jennifer walks in)
JENNIFER - Hey Austin. Where's Abigail?
AUSTIN - Hey Jennifer. She's having a rest upstairs she needs it
JENNIFER - She tired?
AUSTIN - Yeah and she had Braxton Hicks they made her exhausted
JENNIFER - But the Baby is ok?
AUSTIN - Yeah the baby is fine. I do have a question for you though
JENNIFER - What is it?
AUSTIN - Abby said to me this morning you too aren't on the best of terms and when I asked her why she told me to ask you
JENNIFER - We aren't
AUSTIN - Why?
JENNIFER - Let's just say she told me something and I am not supporting her on it
AUSTIN - What did she tell you?
JENNIFER - She told me as soon as the baby is born she is moving out of here
AUSTIN - She's what?
JENNIFER - I know
AUSTIN - What but she will need your help after the baby is born
JENNIFER - That's what I said

AUSTIN - I'm glad
ABBY - Thank you for being there today and all throughout my pregnancy so far I appreciate it
AUSTIN - Of course Abby
ABBY - What have you being doing down here?
AUSTIN - Well your Mom and I had a conversation briefly and she told me how you want to move out as soon as the baby is born and stand on your own two feet and that's why you aren't on the best of terms
ABBY - Yeah
AUSTIN - Look Abby I get both points of you but what if I was to offer a compromise so both you and your Mom are happy
ABBY - Ok I'm listening
AUSTIN - Well I am looking for a place now that I am staying what about you move in with me?
ABBY - I dont want to rely on you and put that burden on you
AUSTIN - You wouldn't be at all I am offering and it gives you space to parent how you want to without your Mom interfering I know that's why you're concerned about staying here
ABBY - You're right about that and if you're sure I would love to move in with you. Austin you are a good friend
AUSTIN - As are you

(Austin and Abby are in the Living Room when Jennifer walks in and sits down on the couch opposite them)
ABBY - Hi Mom
JENNIFER - Hi!! Austin told me about the baby how are you feeling?
ABBY - The cramping has gone for now I just need to take it easy
JENNIFER - I'm glad to hear that
ABBY - Thanks
AUSTIN - Jen there is actually something we wanted to talk to you about
JENNIFER - Ok what is it?
AUSTIN - After our conversation I talked to Abby and offered a compromise one both Abby and you will be happy with
JENNIFER - I'm listening
AUSTIN - You know how I am now staying in Salem long term
JENNIFER - Yeah
AUSTIN - Well I am going to be looking for a place to stay whilst I am here and I have suggested to Abby so that she can have her independence from you but still have support that she moves in with me so I can help her
JENNIFER - Wow ok!! I am ok with that what about you Abby?
ABBY - I already said yes to Austin
JENNIFER - Austin's right at least this way you are getting your independence from me but still have support
ABBY - Exactly
AUSTIN - It's settled then
