Okay - the lady HAS to be Nicole, the bad guy we know is EJ. Having Stryker as the one 'cutting' Sydney is wonderful and Grace being one of the personalities is also wonderful!!

Chapter 17

PHILIP & MELANIE'S APARTMENT
There was a knock on the door.
NICHOLAS: I'll get it.
Nicholas opened the door to reveal Chloe.
NICHOLAS: Chloe.
CHLOE: Nicholas.
NICHOLAS: Look, I'd like to apologize for my behavior a few nights ago. I'm sorry for trying to come between you and Daniel. As much as I hate to admit it, you're right. We can't go back.
CHLOE: Thank you for the apology.
NICHOLAS: So, what's going on?
CHLOE: I'm here to pick up Parker and take him back to Chicago with me. Is Philip around?
Philip and Parker came down the stairs at that moment.
PHILIP: Right here.
PARKER: Hey, Mom.
CHLOE: Hey, Parker.
Chloe and Parker hugged.
CHLOE: So, three weeks from now? Will that work?
PHILIP: It should, yeah. And, if not, I'll make it work. I do own Titan now that Dad's gone.
CHLOE: Yeah. I'm really sorry about that.
PHILIP: It's okay. He was getting up there in age. And, even though he was determined to, we knew he wasn't gonna live forever.
CHLOE: Well, we'll see you in a few weeks.
PARKER: See ya later, Dad. Bye, Nicholas.
PHILIP: See ya, bud.
Philip and Parker hugged.
CHLOE: Good seeing you, Nicholas.
NICHOLAS: You too, Chloe.
Chloe and Parker left. Nicholas sat down on the couch.
PHILIP: What was all that about?
NICHOLAS: What?
Philip turned to look at Nicholas.
PHILIP: You and Chloe going out to Chez Rouge. All the longing glances the two of you shared these last few weeks. What's going on between you two?
NICHOLAS: Nothing...anymore.
PHILIP: You didn't.
Nicholas stood up. He walked up to Philip.
NICHOLAS: I did, though.
PHILIP: You son of a...
Philip punched Nicholas in the face.
NICHOLAS: Relax, Philly. It was a long time ago. Back when she was still married to Brady. Yeah, we had an affair. But, I wasn't the cause of her and Brady's divorce. Their marriage was falling apart long before I met Chloe. But, I became her shoulder to cry on. And, slowly, we fell in love. And then, for some stupid reason, Chloe came back to Salem. To be with you, friends-with-benefits boy.
Philip punched Nicholas again.
NICHOLAS: All right, old man. You and me. Basketball court. Five minutes.
PHILIP: Works for me.

Great chapter Andre. I love the animosity between Philip and Nicholas. Men like to get into arguments about the beautiful Ms. Lane.

LOL at Victor being determined to live forever, and Nicholas calling Philip "friends with benefits" boy. Good idea to settle their differences on the basketball court.

I'm glad Parker is so well adjusted. He would be a good influence on Sydney.

Chapter 18

PHILIP & MELANIE'S APARTMENT
In the bedroom they shared with each other, Ceri and Rhiannon were lying on their beds. Ceri was reading a book while Rhiannon was listening to music. Ceri thought she faintly heard something. To listen to the song that J.J. is singing, click the link:
J.J. (singing, faintly, VO): When lights go down...
CERI: What's that?
Rhiannon took her headphones out.
RHIANNON: What?
CERI: Can't you hear that?
J.J. (singing, faintly, VO): We've been through this before..
Rhiannon got up and looked out their bedroom window.
RHIANNON: It's J.J. He's singing to you.
Ceri sighed.
RHIANNON: What? It's romantic and really sweet. I wish some boy would sing to me outside of my bedroom window.
J.J. (singing, faintly, VO): Can't you see it in my eyes...
CERI: Well, I guess now's the time to tell him.
Ceri walked out.

OUTSIDE THE APARTMENT
J.J. was standing outside of the girls' window.
J.J. (singing): Carrie! Carrie! Things they change, my friend, oh.
Ceri walked out.
J.J. (singing): Carrie! Carrie!
She walked over to J.J.
J.J.: So, you heard my song.
CERI: Yeah. And, I will admit, it was kinda sweet. Except, my name's Ceri, not Carrie.
J.J.: They sound exactly alike.
CERI: I know. But, they're spelled completely differently.
J.J.: I'll make a note of that.
CERI: Jack, there's something I need to tell you.
J.J.: Okay. What's up?
CERI: It's about you and me. It's the reason we wouldn't work as a couple.
J.J.: Okay. Why?
CERI: Like I've said, I'm not your type.
J.J.: But, you don't even know my type. How can you say that when you don't know my type?
CERI: Look, this is just a little hard for me. I've never told anyone this, except for my sister. I haven't felt comfortable telling anyone yet.
Ceri sighed.
CERI: But, I'll tell you, as long as you promise you won't tell anyone else.
J.J.: I won't. You can trust me, Ceri.

CERI: Here it goes.

Stryker, Sydney's other, let's Marlena in on some secrets on Sunday.
SYDNEY (Stryker): She found out too much.

J.J. tries for another girl on Monday.
J.J.: What are you doing tomorrow?

On Tuesday, Marlena tells Sydney what's wrong with her.
SYDNEY: There's something familiar about that name.

J.J. finally gets his date on Wednesday, when he and a girl go to see a movie.
J.J.: I'll protect you.

Marlena explains to Sami just how bad things are on Thursday.
SAMI: This is sick!

And, on Friday, Marlena tries to find someone who can help Sydney.
MARLENA: Why didn't I think of him before?
