I hope Brady has a good comeback... Philip has had some lousy history with Chloe.. First he was overly possessive as a BF, then when she comes back to town he uses her for sex but falls in love with Stephanie & Melanie & later he leaves town with her son... (yes I realize there also was good) There is some history that can be damaging.. I don't blame Brady for being over protective. He saw her beat up & just wants to make sure she is not going to get hurt again.

I can understand Brady wanting to protect Chloe but he has no right to barge into Philip's home and interrogate Philip about marrying Chloe. They have only been back together for a short time. Brady should realize that Philip isn't going to use his son's Mom and toss her out. I can't blame Chloe for waiting a few minutes before entering the condo. I'd want to hear what was happening too.

I'm rather apathetic towards Broes and Phloes. I like whatever couple is written best and, usually, kpatch's stories are Phloe stories. so I tend to go that way. However, I really liked Brady coming in and saying what he did. I don't think he was out of line. I think he was sticking up for a woman that he cares about. I don't think he has to be crazy in love with her to want what's best for her.

Yes Philip you tell him. Apart of me is mad Brady is getting in Phloe's business but another part of me is happy he's not trying to break them up he actually wants them together and to get married! But he needs to realize Phloe have always had a friendship and connection but not a real long lasting intimate relationship. They just got back together give them a chance they'll get married because unlike him and Chloe Philip and Chloe belong together. I love this chapter I can't wait to read MORE!

THE CONDO
Brady: Then why aren’t you marrying her?
Philip: My relationship with Chloe is none of your damn business, Brady.
Brady: You know what I think? I think you’re the last man she’d want to marry.
Philip: Oh really? Maybe that’s because the first man she married ruined it for the rest of us.
Meanwhile, Chloe had returned from shopping and was about to open the front door. She heard loud voices inside and listened for a couple of minutes before walking into the apartment. Finally, she entered. Brady and Philip looked like two deers caught in the headlights as Chloe scowled at them. Brady went over and hugged her.
Brady: Hey honey, it’s good to see you. You look fantastic. Wow!
Philip seethed. Not to be outdone by Brady, he walked over to her too. He kissed her on her cheek and took her shopping bags from her and put them down.
Philip: Looks like you had a good shopping excursion. Did you buy me anything?
Chloe: Philip, I’d like to speak to Brady alone. Would you excuse us?
Philip: No.
Brady and Chloe looked at Philip with surprise.
Chloe: Philip!
Philip: I’m not leaving you alone with him. I don’t trust him.
Chloe’s stern expression softened and turned into a smile. She went over to Philip and kissed him on the lips.
Chloe: It’s okay. You have nothing to worry about. You’re the man I love.
Philip took a deep breath and took Chloe in his arms as if to show ownership. Then he squinted his eyes at Brady.
Philip: I’ll be in my study. You have five minutes.
Chloe laughed as she watched Philip close the door to his study. She shook her head as she turned her attention to Brady.
Chloe: Brady, what are you doing here?
Brady: I was worried about you. You sounded really down when we talked on the phone.
Chloe: I’m fine.
Brady: I don’t think you are.
Chloe: Well, I was fine until you started making me think that something was wrong. I even got mad at Philip because of it.
Brady: All I did was ask when the wedding is.
Chloe: And I told you. It’s too soon for that.
Brady: Bull.
Chloe: Stop, please. Everything is perfect. Look at me. Don’t I look happy?
Brady: You look great. But ... you know he’s a jerk.
Chloe: Sometimes. But so are you. And so am I.
Brady: Yeah, but ... he’s a bigger jerk. He cheated on Melanie, you know.
Chloe: I know. I was there.
Brady: Oh, that’s right. I forgot. Look, you don’t have to stay with him. I can help you get your own apartment.
Chloe: Why are you pushing so hard?
Brady: Because I care about you and I have your best interests at heart. And I’m not sure he does. I just think he’ll hurt you. Look at his track record.
Chloe: Look at mine.
Brady: I just want to be sure that you’re going into this with your eyes open, and you’re not just involved with Philip because he’s ... you know ... available. It’s okay to be on your own.
Chloe: I know that. But I love him, Brady. And we have a great life together.
Brady: But you’re not married.
Chloe: That’s not important.
Brady: Chloe, it’s me you’re talking to. I know you. And being married is important to you.
Chloe: It used to be. But I’m older and wiser now.

I'm with SG. I didn't see jealousy there either. I saw it as a concerned friend. If Chloe gets easily upset with the fact that her & Phillip aren't married when Brady asks about the wedding date, then she's lying to herself when she says she's ok with not being married, or being wiser.
I guess I didn't see the jealously there tho b/c I had a friend who went straight from a divorce into a marriage with the first girl he dated and I had my doubts about it to. Only difference is I was questioning WHY they were getting married where as Brady is questioning why they AREN'T married.

Like I said before...the rivalry will never end between them. All three of them have made numerous mistakes in relationships and shouldn't be judging anyone else. No one should rush into marriage before they are ready... in the story or in life.

I agree that Brady wants Chloe to be happy... but not with Philip. I'm sure he wants them to be friends for Parker's benefit. I have no doubt that Brady would prefer Chloe to meet someone new and fall in love.

I hate how Brady is always acting like he's so much better Philip. He's not perfect he and Chloe were married and they got divorced because he got strung out on drugs. How dare he act like her and Philip just can't be stop judging him he's your damn FAMILY! I love how Chloe kissed Philip and told him she loved him he's long overdue. I think Chloe is a little apprehensive about getting married because of her past maybe she thinks getting married will ruin everything but I think Phloe are doing the right thing by taking it slow they've both been through bad marriages and need to think about it before they get married. I love this chapter even though Brady is getting on my damn nerves as usual. I Can't wait to read MORE!
