Chapter 12

ABBY'S BEDROOM
CHAD: Abby, I understand being angry at your dad. But, you can't honestly be angry enough to want him dead.
ABBY: Why not? After what he did to me...
CHAD: He didn't mean to. I knew you were never going to do it, so I checked him out. I looked over every single piece of evidence that he used to back up his story. And, there's no way that he could be faking it. He's telling the truth.
ABBY: How could you do that? I thought you were on my side!
CHAD: I was. I still am. But, I'm also on the side of justice. You've been an absolute brat ever since Jack came home. You demand answers from him, but you never give him the chance to say anything. So, I talked to him. I got to know him a little bit. And, I can tell that he loves you more than anything else in the world, and that he never meant to hurt you.
ABBY: Well, that's just a little too late, isn't it?
CHAD: Abby...
ABBY: Get out of here, Chad. And don't come back until you've decided to kill Jack for me.

TONY & ANNA'S HOUSE
MIA: You...what?
TONY: It happened a long time ago. I was being held captive on an island by my father, Stefano. For a few months, a woman was on the island with me. Because she was the first human company I had had for several years, we grew intimate quickly. But, after a few months, she was taken away. I never knew until John, Marlena, and Anna saved me that I had even had a daughter. That's why I was so interested in you last time you were in Salem.
Mia stood up.
MIA: I...um...I don't know what to say.
TONY: I can imagine that it's quite a bit of a shock. It was a shock for me, too, when I found out.
Mia got her coat and walked towards the door.
MIA: I need to go for a walk. I need some time to process all of this.
TONY: I understand. And, when you're ready, if you're ready, I'll be here.
Mia walked out.

DUNGEON
HOPE: Take me instead!
Princess Gina turned to Hope.
GINA: You would willingly give up your life for this girl?
HOPE: She's my daughter-in-law. And, I love her as if she was my own.
GRETA: Mother, please, don't do this.
There was a slight buzz in the background.
GINA: What is that noise? Kurt!!!
Kurt walked in.
KURT: Yes, ma'am?
GINA: What is that noise?
KURT: I am not sure, ma'am.
GINA: Well, look into it!
KURT: Right. Of course, ma'am.
HOPE (VO, thinking): You know, what I could really use right now? A hero.
Play this:
Just as Kurt was about to walk out, he stopped. The buzzing grew louder.
KURT: Wait? Is that what I think it is?
HOPE: That sounds familiar. It's almost like...
GINA: Like what?
HOPE: It's like...
At that moment, two motorcycles burst through the wall of the dungeon.
HOPE: Oh...my...

This is great. That music was perfect buildup for the dialogue. I love that song and the old clips. The good old days with those exotic locations and stories!

Chapter 13

JENNIFER & JACK'S HOUSE
Play this song during the scene in Jack and Jennifer's house:
Jack was standing in the kitchen, he had a gun held to his head.
ABBY (VO flashback): I am never going to forgive you!
Jack sighs.
ABBY (VO flashback): You ruined my life!
Jack gulps.
ABBY (VO flashback): You abandoned me!
JACK: I'm so sorry, Abigail.
ABBY (VO flashback): As of this moment, you're dead to me!
JACK: So, I'm dead to you? I might as well be.
Jack pulls the trigger. He falls to the ground, dead. Abby and Chad run down the stairs.
CHAD: What the?!
ABBY: Oh, god! No!
They ran into the kitchen and saw Jack's dead body. Abby knelt down next to her father.
ABBY: No!
CHAD: Well, you got what you wanted. He's gone.
ABBY: No, he can't be! He can't be dead! I know I said I wanted him dead, but I didn't mean it! I didn't know what I was saying! Please, daddy. Please, come back! Oh, god!

ABBY'S BEDROOM (England)

Abby sat bolt upright in her bed. She looked at the clock. It was 3.30 in the morning. Jack ran into the room.
JACK: Abby, are you all right? I heard you screaming!
ABBY: Daddy? Daddy, you're alive!
Jack sat on Abby's bed.
JACK: Of course I'm alive, sweetie.
ABBY: Daddy, I had the most horrible dream! I dreamed that Mom and I came back to Salem, but that I looked like some actress named Kate Mansi, and that you had abandoned us and told us that you were on a walkabout, but you were really chasing a story in Afghanistan, and had been caught and tortured for almost a year, and when you came back, Mom and I were horrible to you and didn't even give you a chance to explain, I said I wanted you dead, and I was dating one of Stefano DiMera's sons, and then you killed yourself, and...
Abby started crying. Jack put his arms around Abby.
JACK: Ssh. It's okay. It's okay. It was just a dream. I'm right here and I'm fine. It's all right.
ABBY: But, daddy, I was scared...
JACK: I know. I know you were. But, it's okay. It was just a dream. I'm alive and I'm fine. And so is your mother and J.J. and you. We're all just fine.
ABBY: Oh, man. Oh, I am so glad that it was just a dream. I love you, daddy.
JACK: I love you too, sweetheart.

Chapter 14

NOTE: Just to clarify, only the story involving Abby, Chad, and Jack was a dream. All of the rest of the stories actually happened.

DUNGEON

The two motorcyclists got off of their bikes and took off their helmets.
BELLE: Shawn!
HOPE: Bo!
SHAWN-D: Tinkerbell.
BO: Fancy Face.
Kurt walked up behind Bo and tapped him on the shoulder. Bo turned around and punched Kurt in the face, knocking him out cold.
GINA (to herself): I knew I should have hired more servants. Or, at the very least, a better servant than Kurt.
Quietly, Princess Gina stepped out the dungeon and made a quick getaway. Meanwhile, Bo and Shawn-D untied Hope, Belle, John, and Greta.
BELLE: I am so glad to see you!
SHAWN-D: You, too.
Shawn-D and Belle hugged.
HOPE: Well, here we are again.
BO: Yep.
Hope and Bo hugged.
HOPE: How about we trade places next time and I save you for once?
BO: You got it, Fancy Face. Now, hop on!
Bo and Hope got onto one motorcycle, Shawn-D and Belle got onto another.
JOHN: What about us?
BO: There's a bike just outside of the palace. We'll meet you at the Pub in fifteen.
JOHN: The Pub?
SHAWN-D: Yeah. Dad and I figured it out. This is Melaswen. It's identical in every way to Salem.
BO: Ready, Fancy Face?
HOPE: Always, Brady.
BO: Hold on tight.
Bo, Hope, Shawn-D and Belle rode off on their motorcycles. John and Greta ran outside, found a motorcycle and got on.
JOHN: Hold on tight. It's been a long time since I used one of these things.
GRETA: I trust you.
John and Greta rode off, following the other cyclists.
