Set side sources confirm that the actor began taping his first scenes on December 5. Last week, Soap Opera Digest reported that Dattilo was spotted at the show's Burbank studios. Obviously, he wasn't just there for a random visit. Dattilo originally joined the Days cast in 1993 and remained with the show until 2001. He returned from 2002 to 2010. This will mark his third stint on the soap. |

It's a nice thought, but don't get your hopes up too high fluffy - especially after that recent scene between 2 characters that everyone has absolutely detested but will remain unspoken.....and what the writers had to say about it and what the fans were saying.

I still didn't believe the About.Com report but now I've seen the confirmation at SOD: www.soapoperadigest.com/content/its-official-dattilo-back-days... and more importantly from my perspective, confirmation from Bryan himself via Second Chances: secondchanceslumi.com/topic/6684725/1/I greatly distrust MarDar and will forever hold a grudge against them for the unspeakable act they wrote so I'm not as overjoyed by this news as I once would have been. However, learning that Bryan is "sooo happy" to be back (see post 20 of the 2C link) makes me very happy for him. So welcome back and best of wishes to Bryan! I hope Days treats he and Lucas well this time (who knows, maybe they'll accidentally stumble into writing something decent for them). |
