Chloe needs to trust her feelings for Philip. Maybe the common denominator in her failed relationships was that she was meant to be with Philip.

AIRPORT, SUNDAY MORNING
Philip caught the first flight out the next morning and changed planes in Tampa to return to Chicago. He was antsy as hell and he couldn’t get Rachel and Chloe out of his head. Even he didn’t know he could be that much of a heel, and he felt awful about what he’d done to Rachel. Everything she said to him was true. But it seemed like he was powerless to resist Chloe. He never considered himself a cheater, but no matter who else he was with at any time in his life, if Chloe wanted him, he was hers.
He must have dialed Chloe’s phone number 20 times but she never answered. As the cab approached the condo, Philip wondered if Chloe was even in Chicago.
THE CONDO, SUNDAY AFTERNOON
Philip turned the key and entered the apartment.
Philip: Chloe? Lucinda?
Chloe came out of Parker’s room holding the baby.
Chloe: Lucinda’s not here. It’s just me and Parker. And I’m leaving soon. I need to get my own apartment.
She put Parker in his playpen and Philip picked him up and kissed him.
Parker: Dad, it’s about time you got home. My world is spinning out of control. You need to talk her out of leaving.
Philip: Chloe ...
Chloe: Don’t try to talk me out of it.
Philip: Maybe if you told me why you’re leaving ...
Chloe took a deep breath.
Chloe: Really Philip? I think you know. This is exactly what I didn’t want to happen.
Philip: Why? I mean, why not?
Chloe: Because you’re seeing someone. And I promised myself if I was ever intimate with a man again, it would mean something. It wouldn’t just be sex on the beach at sunset.

I think poor little Parker is right. Philip don't let Chloe move out. Sit her down and don't let her get up until you tell her how you feel about her. Let her know that Rachel is out of the picture.. Can we have another chapter today please Kpatch.

Philip needs to tell Chloe that he and Rachel broke up and that he loves Chloe. Chloe needs to let him talk and really listen.

He walked over to her and put his hands on her face.
Philip: I was there too and we didn’t just have sex. We made love.
Philip kissed Chloe’s lips. She kissed him back at first, then pushed him away.
Chloe: Why did you do that?
Philip: Do what? Kiss you? I kissed you because I love you.
Chloe: You love me?
Philip: Yes.
Chloe: But ... what about Rachel?
Philip: Let’s just say you’re gonna need a new talent agent. Sorry.
Chloe: You broke up with her?
Philip: In a manner of speaking ...
Chloe: But you said she was the first woman you really cared for in a long time.
Philip: Only because I didn’t think there was a chance for us. There is a chance, Chloe, isn’t there?
Chloe: I don’t know, Philip.
Parker: Good lord!
Philip: Good lord. Chloe, I’ve been a very patient man, but I don’t know how much more of this I can take. For months now, you’ve been sending me these mixed messages. Maybe I just don’t know how to read you anymore.
Chloe: That’s not true. No one knows me better than you do. You’ve always been able to read me.
Philip: Well okay then. If that’s the case, that means you feel the same way about me as I do about you.
Chloe: That’s irrelevant.

Ohhhh Chloe. I could just strangle you. Philip just told you that he loves you and that he knows you love him as well and you say it is irrelevant. Philip I give you permission to knock sense into her. (Some more of your kisses should do it.) Thanks for the chapter Kpatch. I agree with Parker he is too young to hear all of this.

What a great chapter to read on my birthday. LOVE IT!! Can't wait to hear what Phillip has to say to Chloe about it being irrelevant that they love each other. Girl that is about the only thing that IS relevant!!!
