Poor Philip. He deserved it, but I still feel bad for him.

Oh, he deserved it. But now I'm happy for him. Now he can move on and actually go get Chloe with no one in the way.

Yep - Phillip deserved that slap and honestly a little bit more for leading Rachel on the way he was.
But since Rachel is slapping people, can she slap some sense into Chloe as well? This craw fishing she is doing is aggravating and starting to get annoying. Poop or get off the pot Chloe!! You can't have it both ways!!

Yes! Rachel knows the truth it's about time! But what I don't understand is if she knew he slept with Chloe way did she continue to kiss him? The moment I knew he put his lips on another woman I couldn't even THINK about kissing him. AMAZING chapter I'm glad Rachel found out in her own way rather than Chloe or Philip telling her! Can't wait to read MORE!

Can't wait to see what happens next. Wonder if Rachel is going to tell Chloe she has to find her own way home too!! Hmmm, Phillip can get the Kiriakis jet and he and Chloe can go home together (where they belong!!)

Am I the only one who liked how Rachel found out? She didn't deserve it but I still liked it! Poor Philip always gets his gorgeous face slapped. He did deserve it though. I can't see Chloe wanting to fly home with Rachel. Thanks for the great chapter Kpatch!

I liked it too. It totally took me by surprise. I was just expecting to see Phillip bow out gracefully. So I was like, ! I'm glad Rache's gone but I'm a little afraid the if Chloe finds out she'll feel guilty and responsible for another breakup and push Phillip away to punish herself. Chloe seems to punish herself a lot.

OCEANSIDE RESORT
Philip knocked on the door to Chloe’s dressing room. He entered the room and a maid was cleaning up. Philip: Did Ms. Lane leave? Maid: Yes sir. She left. Philip: Thanks. I’ll check her hotel room. Maid: Oh. No, I meant she left the hotel. She had her suitcase with her and she left. Philip squinted as he tried to understand what the maid was saying. Philip: She’s gone? He went to the front desk and the clerk confirmed that Chloe checked out. Philip: Did she leave a note? Clerk: Your name? Philip: Kiriakis. Philip. Clerk: No. Sorry sir. Philip left the desk, took his iPhone out of his pocket and dialed Chloe’s phone number. It went straight to voicemail. Philip: Chloe, it’s Philip. We need to talk. Call me.
SATURDAY NIGHT
As she waited in the airport for her flight, Chloe looked at the display on her cell phone and saw it was Philip again. She let it roll into voicemail. She couldn’t speak to him. How could she explain what was going on in her mind when she couldn’t quite understand it herself? She promised Parker that she would tell Philip how she felt, but when it came right down to it, she couldn’t. She was paralyzed by her fears. Every time she thought she could trust a man, he let her down: Philip in high school, then Brady, then Daniel, then Philip again last year. Why would things be any different this time?
Deep down, Chloe knew that there was one common thread in all her failed relationships, and that was her. “What’s wrong with me?” she kept asking herself. She really needed to talk to someone, so she tried phoning Dr. Spencer, but she wasn’t available.
The flight back to Chicago felt interminable and Chloe was so anxious to see Parker and hold him in her arms again. She entered the condo and Lucinda was waiting in the living room. When she saw the sad look on Chloe’s face, she gave her a hug.
Lucinda: You sounded so sad on the phone. What happened? Chloe sighed. Chloe: Is Parker sleeping? Lucinda: Yes. Chloe: I’m just going to look in on him. I’ll be right back.
Chloe stood by Parker’s crib and watched her son sleeping. He opened his eyes and smiled at his mother and held up his little arms. Parker: Ma! You’re home! Chloe felt bad that she woke him up, but at the same time, she was really happy that he was awake. She reached into the crib and lifted him up and brought him into the living room so she could talk to Lucinda. Parker: Where’s Daddy? Chloe: I accidentally woke him up. Parker: Did you accidentally leave Daddy in Florida? Lucinda: What happened, honey? Chloe: What happened is I screwed up. I don’t think I’m meant to have a relationship. Lucinda: I’m sure that’s not true. Chloe: I can only imagine what Philip is thinking. He must hate me. He must think I’m a total nut case. And he’s right. I am.
To be continued ...
