Nicole is probably going to get defensive now that Chloe mentioned her breakup with Deimos.
Brady's emotion here is the kind of thing I wish the show would let him do instead of the unlikeable nonsense.

I liked seeing Brady show emotion as he talked about being separated from Tate.
I'm looking forward to more of Chloe and Nicole's conversation.

I’m still not feeling good about this exchange between Nicole and Chloe. I can see Nicole start to throw punches...

Brady knows what it's like to be separated from his child...his son Tate is in LA with his mother Theresa and his grandparents Shane & Kim so it makes sense why he's going above and beyond to bring Holly back and into Nicole's arms after Tate was ripped away from him
With Nicole even if she believes Chloe's story I still can't see her forgiving Chloe any time soon either because Chloe kept her daughter from her so realistically the only way Nicole may get past it is if Holly and she are reunited

Chapter 17c
“At the time, I didn’t know that Deimos was behind the scenes pulling the strings,” Chloe explained. “He apparently wanted to be the hero in all this and tell you Holly was yours in the first place, but then you broke up with him and it changed his plan.”
Chloe looked upward to keep the tears from falling. “Nicole, Xander was responsible for my stroke. He injected air into my I.V. line the day Holly was born. Once I recovered, he threatened to kill both Holly and Parker if I didn’t comply, if I didn’t win that custody case. I was so scared the case would go your way, because I had so much more to lose than you, but you didn’t even know it.”
Nicole squeezed her eyes shut for a moment. Opening them, she unfolded her arms and softened a little. “Chloe, this sounds so crazy. Is … is this true?”
“Yes, it’s true. I couldn’t make it up if I tried.” She tentatively reached for Nicole’s arm. “Nicole I hated it, I hated every minute of it. I wanted to tell you so much, but after what he did to me, I had no reason not to believe he’d make good on his threat to harm the kids too. I ran away to New York to try and find some normalcy for the children in the midst of chaos, but Xander found me. He ransacked the kids’ room at my parents’ condo. By that time, Philip had gotten involved and he figured out I was in big trouble. That’s when he flew me down here. It felt like I was safe, or maybe I was just pretending I was safe because I needed a respite like you wouldn’t believe, but deep down I knew it was just a matter of time before Xander caught up with us.”
Nicole covered her mouth. “Oh my god. I had no idea.”
“I know you didn’t. And I swear I had every intention of giving Holly to you after she was born. I love her like she’s my own child, but I know she’s yours.” Chloe blinked back tears. “I know she belongs with you. I’ve always known that. I volunteered to carry her for you so you and Daniel could have a child of your own, and I wanted more than anything to put her in your arms.”
“Oh Chloe.” Nicole took a step toward Chloe and put her arms around her friend as they both cried.

Thank goodness Nicole believes her & they are friends again. Too many times in real life, people just refuse to believe you and your friendship or connection is gone.

I'm glad Nicole and Chloe made up. Yet at the same time I would understand if Nicole had more mixed feelings. Chloe acted out of fear and didn't let anyone know what was going on. Nicole could have helped her and then we wouldn't be where we are.

I'm glad Nicole and Chloe made up. Yet at the same time I would understand if Nicole had more mixed feelings. Chloe acted out of fear and didn't let anyone know what was going on. Nicole could have helped her and then we wouldn't be where we are. I too share the same sentiment here. Yes I am glad that Nicole and Chloe were able to kiss and make up but I mean it would make more sense if Nicole still had mixed feelings too if you think about it. Chloe yes acted out of fear but it isn't like she couldn't tell Nicole or even Brady what was going on. They both could have helped her and Nicole she would not have been robbed out of her time with her daughter. So I too echo the same sentiment. |

That is exactly who Xander warned her not to tell. He nearly killed Chloe and gave her a stroke, which is no joking matter. He ransacked the kids' room at Craig and Nancy's. Xander and Deimos weren't fooling around. They even blew up the boat. Chloe was doing what she could to protect Holly and Parker. She didn't even tell her parents. She felt like she had no choice. |

Kpatch that’s exactly how I feel on the matter too If she told and they made good on their threats ( which they sorta did by blowing up the boat with Parker trapped inside) they would blame her for endangering the kids And she wouldn’t forgive herself Thankfully they were able to get Parker out in time As a parent I have to admit I would have done the same thing I’d rather them hate me and know the kids are alive and well
