I too share the same sentiment here. Yes I am glad that Nicole and Chloe were able to kiss and make up but I mean it would make more sense if Nicole still had mixed feelings too if you think about it. Chloe yes acted out of fear but it isn't like she couldn't tell Nicole or even Brady what was going on. They both could have helped her and Nicole she would not have been robbed out of her time with her daughter. So I too echo the same sentiment. Actually, it IS like she couldn't tell Brady or Nicole. That is exactly who Xander warned her not to tell. He nearly killed Chloe and gave her a stroke, which is no joking matter. He ransacked the kids' room at Craig and Nancy's. Xander and Deimos weren't fooling around. They even blew up the boat. Chloe was doing what she could to protect Holly and Parker. She didn't even tell her parents. She felt like she had no choice. Since you put it like that I guess I can understand where Chloe was coming from |

Chapter 18a
The doorbell rang and Chloe and Nicole came in from outside.
“It must be the pizza delivery,” Philip said as he headed for the front door. Over his shoulder, he told the women, “Parker wanted pizza so I ordered a couple pies.”
When he opened the door, both women gasped in the background. Two officers, a male and a female, were standing in the doorway and the female officer was holding a baby. She said, “I’m Officer Jenko and this is my partner, Officer Reagan. Is Chloe Lane here?”
Chloe rushed to the door. “That’s me. Oh my god! Holly!” She reached for the baby but the officer pulled away. “Sorry, but we need to see some identification first,” Jenko said, “and we have some papers that need signing.”
“Come in, please,” Philip told them, giving them room to step inside.
“Of course. But is she alright?” Chloe wanted to know as she went over the sofa to look for her wallet.
“She’s fine,” Officer Reagan said. “She was examined by a doctor after we rescued her.”
“Rescued?” Nicole came closer. “What do you mean?”
“Deimos Kiriakis and Alexander Cook were trying to leave the country,” Reagan explained. “They were about to take off in a prop plane headed for Cuba.”
“Cuba?” Brady asked.
“That’s what their flight plan said, but it probably wasn’t their final destination,” Reagan added. “Air Traffic Control detained them long enough for our SWAT team to move in.”
Chloe returned to the group and tugged Philip’s arm. “I’ll be right back. I need to get my driver’s license.” She left the group and ran upstairs.
“Can I hold her please,” Nicole asked.
“Sorry, we can only hand her over to her mother,” Jenko said.

So glad Holly has been rescued. Nicole’s not gonna take too kindly to being told she can’t hold Holly, seeing as she is Holly’s mother.

I am surprised because I was expecting Deimos and Xander to be so much more smarter than this. The fact that they were caught so easily, I would have expected for them to make it not so easy for them to not get Holly back or at the very least I would have expected it to be a little bit longer before Holly was found ultimately. However, Nicole not even being able to hold her own daughter and Chloe instead being the one to do it I can't see Nicole being none too happy with this either because for one thing Chloe is not Holly's mother, Nicole is.

LOVE the Blue Bloods reference!!! If a police force can rescue a baby, it would definitely be the Reagans.
I have a feeling the "mother" comment will set Nicole and Chloe back quite a bit. I hope that Holly is back in Nicole's arms where she belongs soon.

I'm relieved that Holly is back.
The comment about Holly's mom is going to upset Nicole.

Chapter 18b
Chloe tugged Philip’s arm. “I’ll be right back. I need to get my driver’s license.” She left the group and ran upstairs.
“Can I hold her please,” Nicole asked.
“Sorry, we can only hand her over to her mother,” Jenko said.
“But I am her mother.”
Jenko’s brow knit. “I thought the other woman was Chloe Lane.”
“I am,” Chloe said as she rushed back down the stairs. “I’m Chloe Lane.” She handed her driver’s license to Officer Reagan. Holly began to cry and Jenko rocked her.
Holly looked around and the poor baby appeared disoriented. Her eyes fell on Philip and she held her arms out to him. He took the baby from Jenko before the policewoman could object.
“Hi Holly, remember me? You’re home now, and you’re safe.”
Chloe quickly signed the papers on a clipboard and gave it back to Officer Reagan. He looked at her signature and handed her back her license.
“Where are Deimos and Xander now,” Brady asked.
“Headed to a Federal Penitentiary in Tennessee,” Reagan told them. Kidnapping and attempting to cross the border with a minor are federal offenses.” He looked at Jenko. “Ready?”
Jenko turned to Philip. “She’s a little sweetheart. I’m glad she’s back with her parents now.” The officers turned and left.
Chloe and Nicole were surrounding Philip as he held Holly. Nicole played with Holly’s foot as Chloe stroked her little hand. With pleading eyes, Chloe looked up at Philip. He nodded and placed Holly in Chloe’s arms.

I'm not liking where this is heading. While Chloe didn't come out and say that Holly was her daughter to Reagan and Jenko, she didn't deny it either. It would have been nice to see her clear the air about things - even if it meant more questions from the cops.
