Philip does bring up good points because he is not the son that Victor wanted. I mean Philip in his mind his siblings could do no wrong. Brady's mother who was Philip's sister Isabella Toscano, Victor adored his late daughter. Philip's brother Bo Brady, Victor's son with Caroline, Victor adored Bo. Hell, Victor adores his grandchildren Shawn-Douglas, Chelsea and Ciara because they are Bo's children. Victor adores his great-granddaughter Claire because she is Bo's granddaughter Shawn's daughter. Victor adores Tate because Tate is Brady's son. Philip is the odd man out in the family because look at who his mothers are that being Kate and Vivian. Hell even Justin and his sons Sonny, Alexander, Joseph and Vic I am sure they receive more love from Victor than Philip does.
Nothing Philip does is ever good enough for Victor. Philip could do anything in his life that actually is meaningful or significant and Victor always finds a way to criticize Philip and demean him.
At least with Chloe, Philip has a chance to actually have a family with Chloe and with Parker even though Parker is not Philip's biological son, Philip loves that boy as if Parker were his own.

I really liked Philip letting out his feelings. I think Brady is right about Philip having more people in his corner than he realizes. Either way Philip's feelings are real.

I too am inclined to agree because Philip does have a soft side to him but he just doesn't show it much but only to people who he trusts or who he's comfortable with. Philip does have people in his corner like his mother Kate or his siblings Austin, Billie, Lucas, Rex, Cassie or other family members such as Justin, Sonny, Adrienne, Will, especially his step-mother Maggie and yes even Victor.

Chapter 17a
Nicole folded her arms and faced away from Chloe, looking toward the dock.
“It’s so weird to look out there and see the remnants of the Mezzo Soprano smoldering in the sea,” Chloe said quietly.
Nicole scowled. “Huh?”
“Philip’s boat. He named it the Mezzo Soprano in honor of me.”
“Really? Well isn’t that special?” Nicole rolled her eyes. “Is that the big important thing you wanted to talk about? Because if it is, I have better things to do with my time.”
“No, no it’s not.” She turned to face Nicole, but she was looking at Nicole’s back. She swallowed her emotions. “Look, I know you hate me Nicole, and I don’t blame you. I’d feel the same way if the shoe was on the other foot.” She wrung her hands. “I want to explain why I did what I did.”
Waving her off, Nicole said, “Save it. There’s no excuse for what you did Chloe. None.”
“Actually, there is,” Chloe said.
Nicole turned around and faced her. “I’m listening.”
“Xander Kiriakis threatened me.”
“Ya right. Xander is dead. Deimos killed him.”
“Right, and Deimos is a boy scout who never lies,” Chloe said, immediately regretting the sarcasm. Changing her tone, she said, “I’m telling you the truth, Nicole. Xander threatened me and Holly and Parker. It was before Holly was even born. He said he would kill Daniel’s children if I didn’t keep Holly away from you.”
Nicole leaned away. “That’s bull!”

I know Nicole is mad but she I hope she will calm down and understand as well

Chloe starting off by mentioning a boat was not the best conversation starter. She needs to get straight to the point and not add non-essential information or sarcasm in here if she wants Nicole to fully hear her. Right now the only thing Nicole is hearing and seeing is a woman who was supposed to be her friend but took her daughter from her instead.

Once again—I get the anger. But Nicole is completely ignoring the positive history that she has with Chloe. She needs to give Chloe the benefit of the doubt and hear her out, just based on that alone.
Will we get previews, boss?

Chapter 17b
“Pizza’ll be here soon. If you want to do something for me, help me set the table.”
“I have a better idea,” Brady said. “You lie down and I’ll set the table.”
“Thanks, but I can’t rest. Not until we hear that Holly’s safe.” Just then, a low-pitched electronic tone sounded. “What was that?” Philip asked in a panic. Glancing toward Brady’s pants, he said, “Was that your phone?” Brady slid his phone out of his pocket and Philip blurted, “Is it John? Did he find Holly? You said Black Patch is one of the best detective agencies in the country.”
Brady held his hand up. “No. Sorry, it’s just Teresa sending a photo of Tate.”
Philip placed both hands behind his neck and blew out some air to try and calm himself. “We’ve got your father, we’ve got my father, we’ve got the Feds, and the local police all looking for Holly. You’d think we’d hear something by now.”
Tears pooled in Brady’s eyes as he focused on the photo of Tate. “There’s nothing worse than being separated from your kid.” He turned to look toward the terrace.

“Xander threatened me and Holly and Parker,” Chloe told Nicole. “It was before Holly was even born. He said he would kill Daniel’s children if I didn’t keep Holly away from you.”
Nicole leaned away. “What? That’s bull. Why would he care if I was raising my own child?”
She shrugged. “Honestly, it never made a lot of sense to me either, but Xander said he wanted to hurt you. He told me he despises you because you toyed with his emotions once and he couldn’t think of a better way to get back at you than keeping your child out of your reach.”
Nicole squinted but said nothing as she processed this.
“See, at the time, I didn’t know that Deimos was behind the scenes pulling the strings. He apparently wanted to be the hero in all this and tell you Holly was yours in the first place, but then you broke up with him and it changed his plan.”

Poor Brady. Other than it being Nicole, it explains so much on why it's so important to him to get Holly back to her mother.
I know deep down Nicole knows all of this is plausible, especially with Deimos involved, but I don't see her just dropping any anger towards Chloe just yet. It's going to take a while......and Holly being in her arms where she belongs before Nicole can fully process everything and think with a clear head.
