As it’s finally time for the Olympics to start, I figured we should have a thread to talk about them in.
I watch the Olympics on and off throughout the time that they’re on. This’ll be the first time i’ve really paid much attention to the Winter Olympics. As I did in the summer of 2016, I plan on putting up a medal count every evening. This year, in addition to my personal top five favorite countries (USA, Great Britain, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand), I will be including Korea, as it is the host country. However, should you wish to know about a country not listed, I will be happy to add said country to my summary. I make no guarantee as to what time they’ll be up, but it is my intention to have them up most evenings. The only exception is nights when none of the countries listed above have made any advances. That being said, it’s time for tonight’s medal count!
USA: 1 gold medal in Snowboarding. Republic of Korea: 1 gold medal in Short Track Speed Skating.

I did see the some of the snowboarding. Not sure it was the run that won him the gold but I did see the gold medal winning 17 year old - Red something. Really good. Snowboarding is so fun to watch when they get up in the air and flip and turn. Wow!

I watched some of that last night, it had a X-Games feel to it, I loved it! I will take in some of the hockey, even though it will look like a bunch of figure skaters, the rink is just too damn big.
