Sad it is coming to an end, but at least I can go back to normal watching Days. Hope Korea beats Sweden in Womens Curling. It's like the Patriots playing the Eagles.

And so we find that we are nearing the end of the 2018 Winter Olympics. Sometime tomorrow after (or during) the closing ceremony, i’ll be putting up my final official medal count. I was able to watch a bit of the curling today. Now THAT was fun!

And now, because the closing ceremonies are currently happening, it is time for my final medal count for my top five countries, plus the host country, of the 2018 Winter Olympics. As with the final medal count I did for 2016's Summer Olympics, I will not be going through the list of all medals, only the top amount of medals that each of my top five and the host country has.
U.S.A. Gold: 9 (Four in Snowboarding) Silver: 8 (Two in Snowboarding/Freestyle Skiing) Bronze: 6 (Two in Figure Skating) Total Medals: 23 Republic of Korea Gold: 5 (Three in Short Track Speed Skating) Silver: 8 (Four in Speed Skating) Bronze: 4 (Two in Short Track Speed Skating/Speed Skating) Total Medals: 17 Great Britain Gold: 1 (Skeleton) Bronze: 4 (Two in Skeleton) Total Medals: 5 Australia Silver: 2 (1 in Snowboarding/Freestyle Skiing) Bronze: 1 (Snowboarding) Total Medals: 3 New Zealand Bronze: 2 (1 in Freestyle Skiing/Snowboarding) Total Medals: 2 Though I kept my eye on them throughout the Olympics, sadly the teams from Ireland, the DRP (North) Korea, and the combined Korea team did not win any medals. Ah, well. Better luck next time. However, as you can see, the host country, South Korea, did pretty well for themselves! It's been a lot of fun watching these last few weeks!
